The tour guide, Georgia, was knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic. She shared historical information that was both interesting and contained stories and people that I haven’t even heard of before. I plan to read a book she suggested that was based on Pamela Harriman’s life and why she is import to American history. Overall, I would 10/10 suggest this tour.

Vicky was a wonderful guide. She’s so knowledgeable about Georgetown, the history, the fun facts delivered with a sense of humor. She’s very adaptable and attentive to your needs. I couldn’t walk very far today as I was not feeling well. She adjusted immediately. Highly recommend Vicky as your tour guide!

We really enjoyed the walk & talk with Georgia! It was the perfect amount of history & stories on a casual walk through historic Georgetown. Georgia had a great delivery and was very friendly, plus gave some great advice of things to see and places to eat. The one thing I think she should skip is telling the story of the person the Exorcist movie was based on — show the steps and mention the movie & how students loved watching the filming, but skip promoting people to watch the movie and telling scary details. That’s more a story for a ghost tour. Other than that, we enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to others.

Vicky, our talented tour guide, was treasure trove of information and good humor! She told us about famous Georgetown personalities and architecture. A gifted storyteller, Vicky is very knowledgeable about the neighborhood folk, the local dogs and local eateries. She pointed out many unique out-of-the-way places (the oldest house in DC). Our Georgetown Tour was super fun because we walked it with Vicky: Strongly recommended!

Ingeborg was knowledgeable and interesting. Excellent tour. Highly recommended. The history of the area and architecture is so interesting. Had no idea so many Presidents were connected to the area. Really enjoyed the Kennedy homes

Very easy walk and talk tour through some of the oldest architecture and neighborhoods in the US. Our guide Ingaborg was extraordinarily knowledgeable of the rich history of the people who lived here, their influence, and who owns them now. Dignitaries such as former presidents and their cabinet members to influential citizens that left their mark here. I highly recommend this tour! I honestly did not know what to expect and was delightfully surprised.

Absolutely fabulous tour. Georgia is extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and kind. She knew an incredible amount of details and facts about area history, was highly engaging/entertaining, and went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable (ie found us shade). My guests who were visiting DC said this was the best thing we did. As a local, I also thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

We all met our guide Vicky at the canal where she began describing the area at the beginning of the Georgetown founding. As we continued to walk about, she stopped to point out small details about the area and how it was used. The stone house, the style of house and local homes of notables like Julia Child, the Kennedy family and others. The walk did entail stairs and up inclines but not strenuous. Care does need to be taken as some walkways are uneven. Overall the walk was enjoyable and informative.
