Very interesting with many historical facts. Vicky our tour guide was very personable and informative, she made the tour unforgettable. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Absolutely fabulous tour. Georgia is extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and kind. She knew an incredible amount of details and facts about area history, was highly engaging/entertaining, and went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable (ie found us shade). My guests who were visiting DC said this was the best thing we did. As a local, I also thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

We all met our guide Vicky at the canal where she began describing the area at the beginning of the Georgetown founding. As we continued to walk about, she stopped to point out small details about the area and how it was used. The stone house, the style of house and local homes of notables like Julia Child, the Kennedy family and others. The walk did entail stairs and up inclines but not strenuous. Care does need to be taken as some walkways are uneven. Overall the walk was enjoyable and informative.

This was the second tour we did with Joseph, as with the missions tour, he brought tremendous insight and shared many interesting facts about the key figures, landmarks and events throughout the city’s history. Joseph’s passion is clear, and this tour is a must for anyone who is interested in learning about San Antonio’s rich history.

Vicky, the tour guide, did an EXCEPTIONAL job!! She was knowledgeable and engaging
If she did a whole day tour of ANY area in D.C., I'd sign up to fo that tour. As a teacher, I think she'd do very well with providing tours for kids/teenagers as well. She is an asset to the world of yours.
Response from Host, Jan 2026

Loved this tour! Our tour guide Becca, was very knowledgeable and engaging. The history and the architecture of the historic homes we visited was perfect for what we wanted. Great stories about Georgetown and DC. Only problem I could see for some people might be the terrain; hills, brick sidewalks, and cobblestones etc
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you! We’re so glad you loved the tour with Becca and enjoyed the history and architecture. We appreciate the helpful note about the terrain too!
