Kevin was so great!! Arlington National Cemetery is daunting, he made it interesting and relevant. Highly recommend!

Jim Garrett did an outstanding job as a subject matter expert in the Lincoln Assassination. He answered all my questions and his detailed knowledge of what took place was most impressive! Even though the tour had to be a little rushed due to a matinee performance at Ford’s, Jim more than made up for it with his outstanding work. I applaud his efforts!

John_L, Apr 2026
There is some walking involved, but mostly flat walking. The guide, Dash , was very informative and packed other relevant sites in along the way, including the National Portrait Gallery.
Lisa_H, Apr 2026
Our Guide was the best. She gave us so much history and went above and beyond. I would book this tour again.

Really nice walk around the neighborhood
Learning history. Civil War
And what old building used to look like
We went to a museum saw some old great actors and a lot of historians who shaped America to what it is today.

Walking is manageable, and covers a lot of ground. Take your ibuprofen prior to the tour. It's an excellent adventure in history and tour guide Tony has a lot of interesting information and trivia to share.
Robert_S, Apr 2026
Dash was an excellent guide! Very knowledgeable and fun to listen to! The experience included the Theater as well as the house next door.
Deana_G, Apr 2026
This was such a fantastic, informative and interesting tour. Our guide, Dash, showed such a passion for history and particularly the topic of Lincoln. So glad we did this tour!

I learned much more than I already knew about the last day of Lincoln's life. The guide was knowledgeable and considerate of all the guests.
TeresaL_M, Mar 2026
This was a very informative historical tour not just the buildings, but the information guide was terrific and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour if you love history and want to know more about Lincoln.
Lindsey_E, Mar 2026
It is a walking tour, so people with disabilities beware. Other than that, it is accessible. Tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.
Diane_W, Mar 2026
This is a very informative and interesting tour. Wear good walking shoes. Our tour guide was Tony. He had a wealth of information about Lincoln. He was easy to hear and understand.
Brandon_F, Mar 2026
Tour guide’s talks were scattered and sometimes ended mid sentence. Did not seem there was an outline followed. Removed early out of Ford Theatre and rushed through the Peterson house. Recommend to just purchase tickets to both and listen to the park ranger at the theatre and self guide through the house instead!
Jill_M, Mar 2026
Shane H is an amazing tour guide. This was the #1 priority for our visit as my son is a huge fan of The Civil War history and Abraham Lincoln. Shane is patient, engaging, educated, and a lot of fun. Highly recommend booking this tour!
Brian_H, Mar 2026
The tour was great even though we couldn’t get inside Ford’s Theatre (VIP event) but James Garrett is a walking encyclopedia on Lincoln’s assassination.
Dawn_J, Mar 2026
It was fascinating to listen to all the little nuances about Lincoln’s life that I wouldn’t have learned had I not gone on this tour. It was amazing to be in the same place where one of the most pivotal events in our country’s history happened and listen to someone knowledgeable and passionate about it telling us the story.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
This is what we love for people to walk away feeling, that we not only showed you the room where it happened at Ford's Theatre and the Pettersen House but added some interesting bits you might have otherwise missed.
Timothy_M, Mar 2026
This was a fantastic tour. Tour Guide, Dash, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the story of one of our country's darkest moments. He was quick to tailor his presentation to the interests of those present. Very well done!
Sherry_M, Mar 2026
Enjoyed the tour. Some areas of old house warm and tight so if any part of group is sever claustrophobic. Just be ready. We made it ok. As husband slight case but he was able to finish tour. Guide was knowledgeable and interesting
Barbara_M, Mar 2026
It was invaluable to have a guide to break everything down for us instead of just going on our own. Well, worth the money.
Bridget_C, Mar 2026
Our tour guide Skye was very knowledgeable with a great personality. The tour was very interesting and I learned a lot. Wear comfortable shoes for walking.
LauraGardner, Feb 2026
Learned so much. I was lucky and only one who showed up. So really a private tour saw lots of new things.
Anthony_M, Feb 2026
Shane was a great guide. While it is fun to explore by yourself, it is much better when you have a person like Shane to guide you through and answer your questions. Many times on the tour I heard someone that was not a part of our tour ask a question about something Shane had just told us about. Many times those people just left going “🤷♂️”.
Highly recommend!
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Hi Anthony, thank you for the fantastic review! We are so glad Shane could provide that extra layer of context that you just can't get exploring on your own. It is always satisfying to have those burning questions answered right on the spot—we’ll be sure to tell Shane he was a hit. Thanks for choosing us!
