Our guides Natasha and...

Our guides Natasha and Claudia were amazing. Natasha did an amazing guiding us around all day and Claudia was very knowledgeable about Pompeii. Our driver Fabrizio should be a stunt car driver with how he maneuvered that huge bus through traffic. Only small thing I will mention is if you have long legs the bus seats are really tight and you will be uncomfortable for the 4 hour ride there and back.

Great investment of time and money

Loved this tour. So glad we invested in Skip the line options and also the option to be on the arena floor. Getting to see a 360° view from that vantage point was amazing. Our tour guide, Laura A., was phenomenal! Buying a general admission ticket and walking through on our own would have been a completely different, much less enjoyable, experience. Laura brought history to life with numerous stories, photos, and some fact versus fiction discussions. If you’re going to make the effort and spend the time to see the Colosseum, do it with a guide, skip the lines, and ask for Laura!

Giovanni was a wealth of information and passion for Pompei! We are so grateful to share the moments learning of culture and history with him. He is like a celebrity around Pompei and we can see why! Francesco, our driver navigated us safely to the coast with amazing views and moments to treasure in Positano! We had a semi private tour and really enjoyed our travel partners for the day! This was a very long tour...

This was a very long tour day. Total time from start to finish was about 15 hours. So if you want to take this trip be aware of the time commitment. Getting to see the Italian countryside from the bus from Rome to Salerno was great. We did not have any time in Salerno but boarded the boat and went to Positano where we had several hours. The 90 minutes in Amalfi was a perfect amount of time to see the town and buy some souvenirs. Are tour guide was excellent and made the trip enjoyable.

Such a magnificent place to visit

Absolutely loved this experience, it was an amazing experience! You do have to take ID with you such a as a passport or driving licence and names must match, we was told a photo on your phone of the ID would be accepted but we chose to take our actual IDs just to be safe. I will advise to book online way ahead of your trip, I made the mistake of not doing this thanks to our travel agent and missed the opportunity to go onto the area and lower areas. Plenty of things inside to see aswel and full of information regarding the history of the colosseum and its people. Beautiful place for photos. Shop inside is quite expensive for souvenir's.

We went as a family, 2...

We went as a family, 2 adults and 3 kids. It was a long day but we had a great time. Our guide was Flavio, he kept us entertained with stories and informed about the days agenda. Our guide within Pompeii was also great. The pizza we had for lunch was delicious and the limoncello tasting was an unexpected bonus. I highly recommend this tour.

Deborah was great!

Deborah hands down is the best tour guide. I was not expecting much, as I am not a very religious person, but Deborah literally brought me to tears with her advanced knowledge and respect for the Vatican. She made this experience one of the most memorable from my entire trip. The tour was extremely educational, and everything we viewed was absolutely stunning and beautiful. She handled the large crowds with no issues and got us through with hardly any wait. I would highly recommend this tour for everyone. I will remember it for a long time

Our tour was Fantastic. Our guide had so much interesting information. Better than expected. Although misleading. Myself and the others on our tour all thought we paid for underground. Since there is no receipt from the day I booked only their app you cannot confirm on. Too expensive for not going underground. As much as we still loved the tour. Be aware when booking

Villa d’Este is awe-inspiring

Fantastic insight into Roman society 2000 years ago at Hadrian’s Villa (palace) and 1800’s at Villa d'Este, which has been on my bucket list since I learned about Italian landscape design at university. Totally worth the visit despite the punishing heat in August. The hydrological engineering & use of what starts as a tiny water source into multiple fountains & sculptures without use of pumps or electricity is awe-inspiring & spectacular. Definitely a highlight of my trip.
