Itinerary
Meet a tour rep in front of Caffe Vergnano inside Termini Station and check in. Board your high-speed train and relax on the roughly 1.5–hour ride to Naples. Arrive at the Napoli Centrale station and meet your guide as you exit the train. Then, board your air-conditioned shuttle and head straight for Pompeii.
Take in views of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius on the 75 minute drive to Pompeii. Skip the lines and crowds struggling to get into the Pompeii Archaeological Park, where you spend about two hours exploring with one a guided tour.
After Pompeii, get back in the shuttle and visit a winery on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. Tour the winery, learn about local wine-producing methods, and enjoy wine tastings and a farm-to-table lunch.
Head back to the train station in Naples, where you board the return train for Termini Station in Rome.

This was a great, well organized tour. We met our guide Fabriccio at the train station in Rome and guided us to the proper train and escorted us to our tour van. The group was about 12 in our van and another 12 who traveled to Pompeii in a separate van. Very comfortable. Our guide in Pompeii was wonderful. She was informative and passionate about the history. The vineyard lunch was nice and wine was free flowing. Lovely grounds. The trip back from Naples was just as well organized as the train there. I would highly recommend this tour.

Despite the fact the there was about 60 tourists everything went very smoothly. Love it! Knowledgeable Tour guides.
Antonio did a fantastic job putting everything that happened into sections for everyone to understand. Kudos to him for doing that.
The winery was spectacular.
Tour was exactly as described and very enjoyable. The winery lunch was a meat platter and some pasta. Light lunch but very good. Nice setting. Gave you (4) wines to try then you had the opportunity to purchase to ship home. Bring a hat or umbrella for shade if it a sunny day.
It is a lot of walking on uneven terrain, but so worth it. We were doubly lucky as our tour guide also works as an archiologist at the ruins. He was SO knowledgeable.
This is a fascinating tour. So much information given about this tragic event in history. You will need sturdy comfortable shoes and a sun hat along with your water bottle. Be prepared for large rock roads to walk on and step over, for it to be hot enough to bake you in the sun, and be amazed at what has been excavated so far. Our tour was exceptional. Laura and Ida were super tour guides.
It’s a long hot day and worth every minute of it. If you have any interest at all in the history of western civilization, you will be fascinated by this absolute time capsule of ancient Roman life.
We had an amazing time visiting! Our tour guide was Chiara who was AMAZING! Luca was also great and so helpful for navigating our group!the winery was beyond amazing!
The company that operated the tour sent an email regarding meeting at the train station. It said the start time was 09:15. Then farther down the page it said to meet 30 minutes before the departure time. It never said that the departure time was 09:15. They should’ve put the exact meeting time so there would be no confusion. The guide supposedly called and messaged but when I tried to answer the call they hung up. We called and emailed the company to no avail. We requested a refund but were told there was no refund after 72 hours prior to the tour. Overall this was a terrible waste of our time and money and I will never use you or them again!

Very fun tour of Pompeii. The lunch and wine tasting was good and enjoyed under the pergola. A nice end to a very warm day. Chiara our tour guide at Pompeii was excellent had lots of energy and knowledge. Luca who accompanied our group on the train rides to and from Pompeii did a great job also. His humor was on point and kept the day light.

Incredible experience, highly recommend it if you're in Rome and want to see something out of the way of your trip. The tour through Pompeii was great by itself, but relaxing with food and wine at a winery after made it perfect.
This trip was very well organized and everything went so smoothly! All we had to do was show up!! We had a great 2 hour tour thru the ruins of Pompeii and our guide was so knowledgeable!!! Obviously you could spend all day there it is such a massive site, but this tour provided a fantastic overview with stops at all the major “spots”!! Next, we travelled just down the road to a beautiful winery where we were greeted with an icy cold glass of sparkling wine and a brief intro into the winery production steps. Then we were seated as a group underneath beautiful grape arbors where we enjoyed tasting 4 lovely wines from the winery which were accompanied by bread, charcuterie, pasta and dessert!! I would highly recommend this tour if you want a one day trip to Pompeii!!!!
Wonderful tour of Pompeii ruins with an excellent lunch and wine tasting at the end. Guides Carla & Luca were knowledgeable and friendly and it was lovely to chat and make acquaintance with the other tour participants! Would definetly recommend!

The wines at the winery were lovely along with the charcuterie. The pasta and pudding were disappointing.
We opted to make our own way back from Napoli on the last train so we could have a wander about.

Pompeii was on our bucket list and this tour did not disappoint. The high speed train was comfortable and quick, our tour guides (one on the train and one in Pompeii) were knowledgeable and delightful, and lunch and wine tasting at the winery was fun. Overall, a very nice tour.

It was fabulous, easy and great communication. Make sure to pack water and comfy shoes (and your SPF) for pompeii- great guide and fantastic agenda. The vineyard was just lovely! Perfect end to a perfect day!
We almost missed it, but Alda literally ran to us to help us navigate to our terminal. I forgot the name of the woman who was our guide on the train, but she was very helpful. Our tour guide, Victoria, was extremely knowledgeable and patient with the entire group.
I highly recommend this tour but I would advise against bringing small children. Bring a fan, plenty water, and comfortable walking shoes. It’s a LOT of walking. I do hate we weren’t able to see the entire city, but it’s very large and would need majority of the day too see it all.

This tour was worth it! It was great to spend time exploring Pompeii and then have a lovely lunch and wine tasting. Big shout out to Sabine for keeping multiple groups organized throughout each stage of the travel. She made it feel seamless!
Excellent experience and our guides Fabrizione and Chiara were great. Chiara took us around Pompeii and explained everything. She also made us look in places we never would have noticed if we did not have a guide. She answered all of our questions and took time to further explain if needed. Fabrizione was a great tour manager and he even gave us great restaurant recommendations when we returned to Rome. Fabrizione also was great with taking the time to help us out on the trip.
Fantastic tour. Well paced. Transportation was timed well and didn’t feel rushed. The tour guide was super knowledgeable and really made Pompeii come alive. Lunch was good and the wine was excellent. Would do this again.
