It was quite hot and we almost didn't make the climb up the stairs but so glad we did.
Our guide Sandra was amazing. She took care of everyone in our group and was extremely knowledgeable
She made a very complicated tour simple to understand.
Chiara took us on a tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St Peter Basilica and the Dome climb. And it was amazing. Chiara is so knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican as well as all the artwork. She is so personable and took such good care of the group, checking in to see how we were doing and making sure no one gets left behind. I absolutely loved this tour because of Chiara. I felt like I was walking through the Vatican with a friend. Thank you for such a special day Chiara! My husband and I will never forget it.
This tour is a fantastic tour of the basilica, the Papal catacombs to see St. Peter's Tomb, and of the dome closeup. The climb up to the top of the dome's copula offers one-of-a-kind views of Rome, St. Peter's Square, and the Vatican grounds. The meeting points are easy to find and our guide, Marina, was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour. It's a must!
Excellent communication of meeting spot, very informative guide. It was a VERY hot day in Rome, but our 5 hour tour included a break in local lounge with AC, water, coffee and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend!
We literally ran after the guide in the Vatican museum! Did not have a chance to see even 5% of the art. Absolutely not worth it, we will redo this museum in our own.

Dear Ioana,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you felt the tour was too rushed and that you didn’t have enough time to appreciate the artworks.
This is actually our longest tour, lasting approximately 5–6 hours, and it is designed to cover the highlights of the Vatican Museums. Unfortunately, as you can imagine, it is impossible to see the entire Vatican Museums in a single visit—exploring the collections in their entirety would take months.
We truly understand your disappointment and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve the experience for our guests. We hope you will have the opportunity to return and explore the museums at your own pace.
This tour was "divided" into two tours. The first part of the tour was fantastic, our guide Anatasia was great, very engaging and informative as she took us through St. Peter's. The second part of the tour through the Vatican museums was conducted by guide Enzo was a large disappointment. He focused on things he liked and left most of bored and almost all of his group abandoning him before the official end. Not sure why this tour had to be split, it wasted an hour in the middle of the alloted time, and I truly wish we would have had Anastasia for the whole time.
The tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and we learned a lot more than expected. The walking pace was comfortable and our guide j ew exactly what to do to avoid the long lines. So glad we did this experience with a tour guide.
Nadia, our tour guide, was exceptional! She was incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely enthusiastic about her role, and made sure everyone stayed safe and together throughout the tour. She made the entire experience an absolute delight.
There’s a lot to cover in the time allotted, but Nadia made every minute count. Her passion for art and history was infectious, and it truly shone through in every explanation.
I highly recommend this tour. Just be aware that a good level of fitness is helpful, as there is a significant amount of walking involved between the Basilica and the museums. It’s well worth it!
The tour is good. You learn a lot about everything involved. Although, just for reference, look at the meeting place in additional comments for clarification. They had two different areas in which to meet. When we arrived we had trouble finding the correct meeting area, and missed the first part of our tour. However, the operating company was very responsive in their chat responses to help us catch them for part two of the tour. The only bummer was being out the $$$ for part one of the tour.
This was an absolutely wonderful experience! I'm so glad we got to see so much of St Peter's Cathedral, and I'm very happy that I chose to do the Dome climb even though it was VERY challenging. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. Meeting with the group was easy and the guide took care of our group very well. The Vatican itself, the museums, St Peter's, the Sistine Chapel - WOW! Just incredible. I had never imagined it would be so big. Our guide really made sure we had time to use the restrooms, get extra water (on a very hot & sunny day) and take photos and did a wonderful job keeping the group together and organized.
We took our grandchildren 18 and 20 to Rome. Sign them up for this tour as we have been to the Vatican numerous times. When they came back, they said the guide was exceptional and they really really enjoyed the tour.
Our Vatican tour was amazing, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to our incredible guide Marianna. Her knowledge, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire journey truly unforgettable. She brought Vatican to life with its history and her insights.
I had injured my foot just before my two-week trip to Italy and was traveling on crutches. Although it was Marianna’s first time guiding someone with physical limitations, she went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout the tour. She proactively coordinated with officials, remained incredibly attentive to my needs, and made sure I could fully enjoy the experience at every step. While others went for the dome climb, she thoughtfully returned to check on me and even assisted me in navigating a few stairs. Her care, dedication, and kindness made a significant difference—this tour would not have been nearly as memorable without her support.
Nadia was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, well organized. She was also very considerate of everyone needs.
This was a tour of a life time. A lot of history was mentioned. Our tour guide ( Nadya) done a very good job .
This was a great tour & we really enjoyed our tour guide since she knew all the hidden ways around Vatican City to get us through the crowd as quickly as possible. I highly recommend doing the 2 part tour so that you have time to rest between the basilica & the Vatican!
Nadia was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and entertaining. I definitely recommend the first tour of the day. The lines were not long at all. I also recommend this extended tour. We got to see everything!
Wonderful experience. Good time had by all. Thank you very much. Everything was great. We would come back
Tour is worth going on, covers a lot of ground and different sites. Our guide Sandra is amazing, very thorough, great information and knows how to navigate the crowds giving us great spots to see everything.
If you have a choice, go early morning to miss some of the crowds.
Our guide was very informative and moved at a great pace. She answered questions and gave interesting side facts about things that made the tour more enjoyable!
Very organized and throughly designed tour. My kids 6, 8, 11, 12 were able to walk the whole tour and the top of the dome. The guide was very kind and knew everything.
Wonderful experience with a very knowledgeable guide. We had Chirara best tour guide ever. Top of the dome well worth the climb.
This tour is fantastic. Our tour guide, Massimo, was so knowledgeable and funny. The best! We loved it all and highly recommend it!
Great tour of the Vatican, Basicilla, and St. Peter’s dome. Well worth making the climb to the top of the dome, the views are amazing. Then onto the Vatican museum and the Sistine Chapel. Be prepared it is a long tour but extremely interesting. Our guide was engaging and good fun.
The tour could do with a coffee break before the afternoon tour starts.
Definitely worth doing this tour. The experience was incredible. Highly recommended. Don’t leave Rome without experiencing this!
Amazing tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Definitely recommend this tour and company. Getting up early is worth it when you arrive before the crowds.
My wife and I visited Rome for the first time in February of 26, and we were very excited about visiting the Vatican. I spent a lot of time reviewing the various tours available, and chose this one. We were not disappointed. Our guide Marianna, was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable. You can tell that she is passionate about Vatican history, and knows her topic well. She made a good tour even greater. I highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed.
What an incredible tour and overall experience! Massimo is a great guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining. The climb up the dome is something everyone should do at least once! I was able to make it even with a little claustrophobia.
Having a guide who knows his art and history made the whole experience better. The masterpieces we experience were made even better with his background and storytelling ability.
This tour was very thorough. The tour to get to the Sistine chapel LONG haha, a lot of information and a lot of history. The tour guide was very good - sometimes challenging to understand bc of the accent (but these individuals speak like 3 languages). But I would def recommend bc there is so much to see you def need someone to walk you through it!
Nadia was a super knowledgeable guide and explained so much detail during both the Vatican and Vatican Museums. The trip to the top of St. Peter’s is totally worth it, but it is a climb of over 600 steps. It is a solid workout.
The Museums were very crowded and that made it difficult to lock in on any particular pieces, but the experience was worth the visit.
Fantastic experience that was very educational. Guide was knowledgeable and informative. Be prepared to walk. Climb to top was tight but worth it.
