My mom and I had a WONDERFUL time! Our guide Anna was very sweet, funny, and knowledgeable. Our bus driver Romel was very accommodating and always made sure we made it back onto the bus. 10/10 would recommended this EXACT tour!

Quaint places within the Tuscany region with nice wineries and millennial buildings. Heather the guide spoke clearly, jovial and entertaining while the driver Giovanni drove safely.

We had a marvelous tour of Tuscany with Laura! Very knowledgeable guide! Wonderful experience to share with family!

While this tour is very special and unique and delivers everything it says it would, I’d be hard pressed to call this a wine tour. Montepulciano is overall very welcoming with many wine tastings throughout its town, as you’ll learn on this tour, but this tour doesn’t take you to the vineyards or teach you about the winemaking process, something I thought I would be getting with this tour. Nonetheless, it is quite informational with the tour guide explaining much more than just the goings on embedded within the tour, and as I said it does offer everything it says it would: a luncheon with wine tastings, a tour of the city of Montepulciano, as well as Pienza, with time to roam around and explore the city. I would say this is a great tour for wine newbies, but for someone who actually knows a bit about wine, it may seem a bit novice of a tour of Montepulciano.

This trip was amazing! It was so nice to get out of the city of Rome and head to the countryside. The places we visited were peaceful and relaxing. It was a nice change of pace. Our driver and guide was, Claudio. He was so welcoming and made our experience even better. Taking a small group or private tour is the best was to experience Tuscany. You are able to enjoy and soak up the tranquility of the land.

The experience at Montepulciano was unbelievable, and the views were spectacular. The entire experience was very friendly and fun the only complaint would be that your time alone away from the tour guides is limited so you will need to take full advantage.

Dear Sophie_C,
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the incredible experience in Montepulciano and the spectacular views along the way. It's great to know that you found the tour friendly and fun.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the amount of free time. As this tour includes several scheduled activities and destinations, we aim to strike a balance between guided experiences and independent exploration. We understand that some guests would love even more time to explore on their own, and your comments are valuable as we continue to evaluate our itineraries.
Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you on another adventure soon!

This was by far my favorite day trip. Tuscany is beautiful and while Montepulcino was not even on my “to see” list I now plan to go back. Errica was our guide and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with local recommendations. 100% don’t hesitate to take this tour. Money well spent

This day trip was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized: the punctuality made the whole experience smooth and stress-free, and both the guide and driver were exceptionally friendly, professional, and welcoming. The lunch at the farm was another highlight, absolutely delicious and a real taste of the region. Every stop felt special. The only downside was that everything felt a bit rushed as we just wished we had more little more time to truly enjoy each place instead of having to move on so quickly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great way to see some parts of Tuscany in a day.
Senait_M, Jun 2026
Great host and the tour was really nice. We needed more time at the last stops it felt rushed. The lunch was good but not really a 3 course more like starters and pasta (tomato based). The dessert contains of 2 small biscuits. But really tasty.
Phyllis_T, Jun 2026
Beautiful road trip to the heart of Tuscany. The town of Montepulciano was exactly what I anticipated- with winding quaint cobblestone streets built on a hill with breathtaking views at the top. Klause, our tour guide was great. The wine-tasting lunch at a family-owned winery was also fabulous.
Michele_K, Jun 2026
The ease of booking the reminders to make sure you know where to meet to the trip was a wonderful experience! Anna our guide was informative kind friendly and took care of the whole trip. Marco the driver was friendly kind and did a great job. Fantastic views food and wine tasting!
Nicole_G, Jun 2026
Wonderful experience. We had the best day. Thank you for a great tour and day. The food and wine was spectacular.
Peter_H, Jun 2026
Great tour. Bus was large and comfortable. The guide was excellent and very passionate about the tour. We went to a nice family winery. Good lunch.
Shannon_C, Jun 2026
This tour was incredible thanks to Patriccia, Barbara and Lucca (the bus driver). Patriccia was our main tour guide. She was funny and charming. She had great knowledge of the Tuscany area.
Barbara took over on the Montepulciano area, oh what wit she had and very knowledgeable about the area. In my opinion, This portion of the trip isn’t for people who have lung or serious heart disease. It took a lot for me to finish (I have a touch of Asthma). With this being said, it was an incredible tour and I got through it.
Last but not least, Lucca was a safe Bus Driver. He made all of us feel safe.
What an incredible Day. (This was a group tour.)

Please be aware that although the additional information states the tour will have a max of 25 passengers this isnt the case. Our tour on June 2nd had 50 people. When we did yhe one hour tour of multepulciano we broke into two groups of 25 the remaining activities ( lunch, wine tasting, tour of other town) were with the full group if 50. Had i known it was 50 people I would not have booked. Our tour guide Anna was an absolute GEM and a wealth of information. Had the group been smaller it would have allowed for more candid conversation and k owned ge from the guide. The group size makes that difficult. The food at the tasting was amazing and thankfully they were accommodating of our request for seconds and thirds. We purchased a bottle of their wine. The people running the winery were phenomenal the absolute sweetest family. Again my only gripe with this tour qas the size as the normal issues that accompany large groups plagued this trip such as people getting lost, arriving at meeting spots late, and as mentioned earlier the being unable to connect with the guide effectively.
Michael_M, Jun 2026
Well, the trip is very long at about 12 hours. You stop in many places and get a good flavor of Tuscany.
Our tour guide Paula was fabulous.
Madison_G, Jun 2026
Ana and Roman were amazing today! Roman drove very well & stopped at really good rest stops for all of us to use the bathroom & get snacks. Ana was the funniest and smartest guide we’ve had our entire trip! She made sure everyone was back on the bus, and she was so nice to us every time we had a question or needed something.
Constance_B, Jun 2026
Great way to see some of Tuscany! Tour guide, Flavio, was great. Driver, Max, was super courteous and a safe driver. Beautiful. Lunch and wine was good!
KarenE_C, Jun 2026
Sarah was very knowledgeable, but knew to not to talk at length so we could enjoy the views of Tuscany out our coach windows. It was a long day, but well worth it. Tuscany has breathtaking views. The lunch at the farmhouse was interesting and very good.
Ryan_S, May 2026
Great trip, guide and driver were very good and informative. Lunch was good, wish the portions were more. The cities were nice to see and the views were incredible.
Christina_A, May 2026
We enjoyed every portion of the tour & especially liked Chiara’s presentation of the town of Montepulciano with her local knowledge & the winery food & wine tasting, though the shopping time there was a little rushed at the end. Pienza has a deep heritage that could have been more emphasized. Overall, just a lovely time & a nice break from the hustle & bustle of Rome. Grazie mille!
BasseyEbiana_E, May 2026
The tour guide , Antonino was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful in providing the history of Rome and the surrounding countryside.
James_W, May 2026
Tour was quite good. A lot of uphill walking in Montepulciano. Wine tour was only so so. Food was not great and didn’t love the wine.
Marc_H, May 2026
Exactly what you need to do to see the Tuscany county side. Beautiful scenery with a wonderful guide, Pari. She was so helpful and kind, she explained in detail what we were seeing and doing. She sent text through the app to the tour group that my wife loved. Lots of detail and explanation on what was coming up next. The food was amazing and the wine tasting actually had lots to taste, the sisters at the winery did an amazing job as well.
Lauren_S, May 2026
Our driver Giovanni and our tour guide were wonderful. We were able to enjoy the beautiful countryside, shop and sightsee the beautiful streets of Montepuciano. Would highly recommend. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The tour offered multiple stops along the way to enjoy refreshments and use the bathroom as well. We had such a nice day making core memories as a family
Tina_S, May 2026
We had a great time today. The views were beautiful of the mountains, vineyards, and charming towns we visited.
Our tour assistant was very energetic and lively.
My cons.... We were told we would have time on our own at the sites, but most of the times were cut short. We were told we would have 30 minutes at the Piazza grande stop, but it ended up being more like 18 minutes. More time should be offered here and less at the random ' photo op ' church area that took five minutes to see. We were also told we would see the luxurious poppy gardens and we never heard of saw more after the mention. Too many 'pee pee stops'; most of bus wanted to not stop at the same place we had on the way there a second time. If we have to stop, why not show us something new? If the coach bus had bathrooms, it would alleviate a lot of travel time so guests could enjoy more at the stops.

Hello Tina,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the charming towns, and the energy of our tour assistant.
Regarding timing, the itinerary includes estimated durations at each stop, which can sometimes vary depending on traffic, group flow, and local conditions throughout the day. We always aim to balance sightseeing time with comfort and necessary breaks to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.
We appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration as we continue to improve the tour experience.

Best tour ever! Alessandro & Mussolini insured that everyone had a wonderful time! Alessandro was very knowledgeable & relating to the teams & families at our stops to take great care of us all. The wine family at Pulciano were warmed & welcoming. The wines & food were delicious. Their history goes to the 16th century!!! Heart & soul! Barbara was awesome showing us around town & explaining Montepalciano rich history. The stops there & back at Fabro topped it off with samples, cappuccino & bathrooms! Thx for a memorable experience. Keep up the nice work!
Lisa_S, May 2026
Wow! So much beauty to see! We loved Montepulciano and all the views out the bus window were spectacular! SO interesting too!
Laurie_S, May 2026
Our guide Oksana was AMAZING. All logistics were handled seamlessly and we only waited in line briefly unlike the throngs of tourists that simply bought tickets. You can stay in Vatican City all day so plan on it. Wonderfully beautiful and Oksana was so smart and educational. Highly recommended.
