This tour was great. Our guide Chiara was excellent. The scenery was beautiful. The towns were so picturesque. Looks like a long tour but there is plenty of free time and rests on the coach. We learnt so much about Rome and Tuscany. The lunch was not bad. The spaghetti was great, and you get to try 7 local wines together with other local produce. I would highly recommend this one.

This tour was lots of fun, our guide Alessandro was easy to understand and very informative. The local guide was also very friendly. The wine tasting was fun and it was very interesting to get a tour of the cellar from the owners!

This was an amazing tour with lots packed in a day and worth the while and money!
Eduardo our guide made it so enjoyable and entertaining. He was very informative as well, as far as details of the place and the history is concerned.
The lunch and wine tasting experience was also delightful.
Over all a great experience. Would recommend this anytime!
PS: just don't do this in the summer. The heat is terrible!

This tour was great and more relaxing versus tours that included a ton of travel. The views in Tuscany are breathtaking and all of our tour guides (Laura and Pam) were wonderful and engaging. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes as Montepulciano is uphill a lot. We really loved this tour and the meal/wine tasting was fantastic!

10/10! Amazing experience and worth it! Everything was well organized and enriching! This was a multistep trip and we felt safe every step of the way. We were given so many opportunities for amazing pictures, shopping, and trying new foods. I highly recommend this trip because it allows you to see so much in one day. Truly amazing !

Best day trip from Rome! Absolutely stunning views and delicious lunch. Sara the tour guide in Montepulciano was great.
Erine_C, Jul 2026
Sarah in Montepulciano was so sweet, knowledgeable and made the best of the torrential morning rain!! Pienza is a quaint and beautiful town.
Erica_P, Jul 2026
Frabritzio was amazing! So hospitable, we learned so much. Would do again! Travel was consistent and got to take pictures everywhere.
Kyriaki_G, Jul 2026
A beautiful experience through the stone build cities of Tuscany with the amazing views and tasty local products! But have in mind that you need to wear training shoes or comfortable shoes because you will need to walk! Our guide Ion, was very friendly and professional with humor and he gave us a lot information regarding the trip and Italian history!🇮🇹🫶

This day trip was amazing! Veronica was our tour guide and she was delightful, informative and very friendly! We loved everything about our tour!

It is not as advertised! We did not go to an “authentic Tuscan farm for a 3 course lunch”. We were dropped off at a town and left on our own. “Go down there, take a left, then a right, then a left and the restaurant is there” is what our driver told us. He made us feel very unsafe with his driving. He never told us his name. All 7 of us in the group were disappointed.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Mary_b,
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We sincerely apologize that your recent experience fell short of your expectations and that you felt uncomfortable during your trip.
We would like to clarify that this specific option is designed as a self-guided experience, offering free time for guests to explore and enjoy the sights at their own pace rather than following a guided tour group. To enhance your comfort for this journey, your booking was given a complimentary upgrade from a large group tour to a semi-private experience.
However, we are very concerned to hear your feedback regarding the driver's conduct, communication, and driving style. Passenger safety and comfort are our highest priorities. We are addressing your comments directly with our transport management team to ensure our drivers maintain the highest standards of professional and safe service.
We deeply regret that this impacted your group's overall experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

A long, but wonderful day! We had a wonderful time with a great driver and tour guide! A one of a kind adventure to see the highlights of the beautiful Tuscan countryside!
William_O, Jul 2026
Very enjoyable. Well organised. It has a fair bit of walking, up small streets with a sharp incline. Beautiful cities that are like the postcards we have seen. Well worth for anyone who wants a great dip into the heart of Tuscany.
Darhlene_B, Jul 2026
The travel to Tuscany with Lawra was phenomenal! She was truly a knowledgeable and caring guide. She ensured all attendees were accounted for and cared for. The driver on this tour was equally phenomenal. He ensures our safe travels to and from implementing excellent travel escapes around accidents encountered on the byways. He got us back to Rome in record time navigating with his expertise and knowledge. His name escapes me. The trip to Montepulciano was great! Beautiful history, great food and wine, Pienza was a lively experience as well. The trip to Tuscany was a great ,peaceful experience. We only could not control the heat.
Tanya_S, Jul 2026
Our family had an amazing day exploring Tuscany! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and local insight that made every stop even more meaningful. They also did a wonderful job keeping our kids engaged, so everyone had a fantastic time. It was the perfect mix of learning, fun, and beautiful scenery. We highly recommend this tour to families visiting Tuscany!

Amazing experience! If you’re thinking of booking it - Book it! Very informative and in general wonderful experience. Wine tasting and lunch was delicious!
Kulbir_C, Jul 2026
This is a nice trip where you get to see a couple of really nice rural villages and understand culture. However ,the 3 course meal and the very sparse wine tasting was a bit disappointing considering the cost of this trip was over £100 per person.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Kulbir_C,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed exploring the rural villages and learning about the local culture during your trip.
However, we are very sorry to hear that the three-course meal and the wine tasting did not meet your expectations, especially given the cost of the tour. We always strive to provide an exceptional experience and excellent value for our guests, so we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Your comments regarding the food and drink portions have been shared with our local partners and operations team so we can review and improve our offerings.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a much better experience.

The most breathtaking views from the drive to the destinations with amazing guides; Laura was the best and extremely knowledgeable!! I would absolutely recommend this tour, it was the perfect break from the fast-paced city into the Tuscany hills.
Ieisha_C, Jul 2026
Decio was a great tour guide! He brought us safely to our destination and back even with awful traffic when we got back to Rome.
Kelli_M, Jul 2026
This was the perfect way to end our time in Rome. Pictures cannot do the area justice! The wine tasting, and lunch was out of this world, our tour guide, and our bus driver were smart and expedient and wonderful people! I wish we had some more independent time to stroll through the towns, but it was still an amazing trip!
Catherine_W, Jul 2026
We had a nice day but several things could improve:
This tour needs a more detailed description because many women wore sandals not knowing we had an hour walking tour on steep streets. I definitely advise sneakers. The town was beautiful but your free time was only 20 minutes to shop and explore.
Winery was ok. No talk about wine pairings or anything. Needs better organization. And they were very pushy to purchase and wouldn’t tell you when you asked what shipping cost. My shipping for 4 bottles of wine was $150! The pushy sales experience put a big damper on the day.
Third stop after the winery was a town you had an hour to explore but there was barely anything in the town. Most people on the tour sat around the hour. They should have given more time in the first town and dropped the stop in the second town.
Overall the day was not what we envisioned. I would not recommend the tour. We made the most of the day and the wines were good, but the entire experience could improve.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Catherine_W,
Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize that the tour did not live up to your expectations.
We truly appreciate your constructive notes regarding the walking terrain, the time distribution between the towns, and the lack of educational insight at the winery. We are also deeply concerned to hear about your experience with the pushy sales tactics and high shipping costs; this does not reflect the standard of service we aim to provide.
Your comments have been shared with our management and winery partners so we can review our itinerary timing, improve our descriptions regarding footwear, and address the behavior of the sales staff. Thank you for helping us improve.

A great tour with very knowledgeable and lovely guide, Laura. She also gave helpful tips for navigating Rome.
Lunch is very filling and they give you a lot of wine!
Sarah_E, Jul 2026
Great experience! A great way to see the different towns of Tuscany. We spent the right amount of time at each place and really learned about each town! Laura was a great guide and gave great suggestions. The driver Luca was also great! Great day!
Erik_S, Jul 2026
Great itinerary with a good variety of stops in the Tuscan countryside. We had a great time (and also appreciated some cooler weather given the really hot days in Rome in July!). The wine tasting and pasta demonstration were very abbreviated, just a couple quick minutes and no discussion about which wines pair with which foods, etc., possibly because our group was almost 50 people (too large in my opinion) - so anyone wanting more education about either, this is not the tour for that. But overall would recommend this tour to get a good one day taste of Tuscany.
Roger_V, Jul 2026
Heather was outstanding with her knowledge of the region of Italy. The walks through the Tuscan towns showing off Tuscany at it finest. The local lunch made of local produce with wine tasting was Fabulous. Highly recommended trip.
Michael_A, Jul 2026
What’s the amount of time is spent on the bus ride there and back but it’s a very comfortable ride.
Montepulciano is a hilltop town that will require you to walk up and down steep hills.
The wine tasting portion at the farm alongside lunch was a very nice respite, and the family was lovely.
The views of the Tuscany region at both stops were breathtaking
Maree_S, Jul 2026
Anna our tour guide and Roberto the bus driver were excellent. Anna provided information as we travelled to Montepulciano. We stopped for a toilet break at this indoor market. It was wonderful you could try chocolate, lollies, cheese, wine olive oil and they had many wonderful things for sale. After a wonderful walking tour of Montepulciano with Barbara and wonderful Gelato it was time to go four our lunch. It was at the Pulcino family restaurant and winery. We enjoyed seeing the wine cellar and then enjoyed some of the locally produced wine and food. A siesta on the bus until the next stop. The weather was extremely hot but the tour was very enjoyable. I would totally recommend this for a taste of Tuscany.
Suzanne_L, Jul 2026
Excellent organisation at the meeting point and everyone escorted to the coach . 52 pac on board split into two groups.
First stop would have enjoyed longer sampling dips etc . 2nd stop Montepulciano lovely hill top village very quaint but if like me your not good with heights and elevation it’s quite scary. On to the winery what a beautiful setting but extremely disappointing. For a start 2 bus loads in main restaurant problem no aircon had read this earlier but was giving benefit of the doubt. 38 degree outside. One member of staff said it was broken. Owners sister we addressed it on the way out her reply was it’s bad for your health absolutely crazy . Anna our guide was excellent. But don’t do this tour end June July august wait till a cooler time of year . Also winery very tight with the tasting .
Don’t think I’d recommend
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Hi Suzanne_L,
Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear you found the meeting point well organised and that Anna provided excellent guidance throughout the day. We're sorry the winery experience and warm conditions didn't meet your expectations. Your comments are appreciated and will be shared with our local partners as they continue to improve the experience for future guests.

Very nice day trip. Well organized. Could have spent a little last time at the final stop - it was very warm and not a whole lot to do for an hour. Guides were knowledgeable and very pleasant. Lunch was good.
Anonymous, Jul 2026
Check-in at the Piazza Del popolo easy access by taxi or train. Riding the bus lets you take in the beautiful scenery. But every seat on the bus was full and it was quite hot so AC was not very effective. Tour of the town montepulciano was brief but very beautiful. Awesome Vista. Lunch at the farm with a warm welcome by the host family. Food was OK. Very short, free time in Pienza. These types of trips make for a long day with a lot of time on the bus and relatively brief tours of the attractions. They provide an introduction so you can see if you want to go back. We went w teens who were overall positive about the experience. I would not recommend more than of one or two of these bus tours with teenagers in a week.

Amazing trip! Best thing so far after 1.5 weeks in Italy on our honeymoon. We booked this excursion from Rome to see the country side and glad we did!
Heather was a great guide for it and kept us organized. The local guide Andrea was great as well and the wine experience was great! Strongly recommend doing this to see the real Italy!
