Ahmed was our driver. Fabulous and safe ride to San Giovanni and the winery with lunch was unbelievable. Nothing like what we expected as we have never had this experience in the USA. The pairings with the amazing food!!!! Did I say NOTHING LIKE WHAT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED BEFORE!!! You must try this day trip!!

Great Day in Tuscany!

This was an amazing day from start to finish. We went to the towns of Sienna and Dan Giamano with lunch between. At the first stop we shopped and got lucky enough to see a local car race coming through. The lunch at the winery was fantastic! It came with 10-12 wine tastings in total and it’s a beautiful property for pictures. Our driver was very friendly and informative. It’s a 2.5-3 hour drive each way. He stopped for coffee and restrooms. The vehicle was comfortable and we slept for much of the drive. I would book this again, it’s a great way to get out of busy Rome and see the countryside and be at a slower pace.

Beautiful and Relaxing Trip

The most impressive thing is having this trip with Fabio. He’s so friendly, told us many stories of Romans, brought us to the beautiful place with a very convenient car. The lunch was also perfect, the people at the restaurant for wine testing are so friendly. It was a memorable tour!

The drive through the Tuscan Countryside was wonderful The wine tasting was the most incredible experience I’ve had in awhile. Allen and Andre did a great job and spoke English very well.

I don’t even know where to begin. The whole experience was amazing! I was very anxious about the transportation and the wine tasting and lunch part because one of the previous reviews wasn’t very endearing. Transportation: our driver was called Alan and he was great, since I was traveling with my parents (they only speak Spanish) I was extremely grateful that not only he spoke English but algo SPANISH!!! Something that I think should be mentioned is an option (but I think they don’t because at the winery they didn’t speak any Spanish). The van is super comfy, the wifi, the AC and Alan’s stories made our day trip super smooth. Not sure what more detail anyone would need about this part but feel free to contact me on IG @abril.garza Winery: the winery is called tenuta torciano and is very important to know the driver is not related to this part of the experience, so just keep your booking at hand just in case. Since the moment we arrived we were greeted at the gate and introduced to the family history of the winery in our way to the restaurant. Once you arrive, the table is all set for you and your party and someone introduces you to the wines and how to hold a glass, how to taste the wine and how the meals will be paired with each of the 7 wines that will be tasted. The meal is 4 course and if anyone wants any videos or pics, feel free to DM me cause I don’t see an option to attach them here. Once the whole tasting is done, I recommend you to wander around a bit through the vineyard and take some photos before calling/texting your driver to pick you up again. Last thing I want to mention that the first stop will be Siena, then you will be dropped off at the winery and at last, San Gimignano. As I mentioned I mentioned, feel free to DM me for any questions or if you’d like photos/videos of the experience. Awesome day with an awesome driver and tour guide! He took us to some beautiful places, great photo ops and even booked us a wine-tasting lunch! The only way to travel - in comfort and with someone who knows what they are doing! Ask for Sammi!!!
