It's not really a tour, rather transportation to these sites. We got dropped off and were on our own. No skipping long lines , no info at each holy place, and not enough time to really see it all before having to get back to a meeting place. Assisi was especially disappointing, with super long lines . Many in our group saw very little in the allotted 2 hours. Our guide clearly was not Catholic and did not know key info at some places.
But you're really paying for the bus not a tour...and when the guide spoke on the bus about where we were going he did so in 3 languages which was very annoying. I would have preferred English only .

This trip is amazing; our guide, Toziano and drivers Simone and Stefan were great. There is quite a bit of walking, especially at Civita. It is a long day. You see the Umbria countryside on the busride between cities. Wheat fields, vineyards, mountains. There is also adequate free time in each place. Toziano gave us info on the important sights and meanings of each stop. He also gave us clear instructions on where our meeting points were and the times to meet.

It’s a well thought trip with Assisi in the morning, followed by Civita di Bagnoregio in the afternoon and Orvieto in the evening. Our guide Sylvia is friendly and knowledgeable, she told us many interesting stories along the way. A pleasant one day trip if you want to explore the countryside from Rome.

This was the best tour ever for Assissi, Civita
Di Bagnoregio and Orvieto! He divided our times in each city wisely and efficiently!
Our guide Roberto was incredibly caring, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
He has tenacious walker and our driver Luciano who was a great respectable driver!

Lisa was fantastic and fluent in both English and Spanish. And moved btwn both languages fluently. She was extremely knowledgeable. She accommodated all our needs and made our trip so very special. She even offered a dinner suggestion after we left the tour!!! Awesome service and fabulous tour

We had a guide who knew the areas we went to, you will go in knowing the area. If you do it all, you will walk around 8 miles between the three sites.
Assisi is the first stop - would have liked to have a little more time there, as there are 3 shrines to see/tour, and the farthest one is about a mile from the drop spot.
Citiva - get ready for a trek - there is a bridge that is about a mile long and has a very steep incline to it. If you are not in shape, avoid this one - it is a no guts, no glory hike! If you go, it's worth it - the views from the bridge are great - looks like a painted back drop! The view from the town is amazing!!
Last stop, Orievto - at least it is level! The shrine there is fantastic, you can take pictures as long as you don't use a flash. Well worth the hike!

We missed the tour, and I requested a refund for this tour as the directions given to us were unclear. We were at the bus station at 6:40 am and I asked several bus drivers and ticket agents about the tour and they could not tell us where we should go. They told us that we were at the right bus terminal but we could not find the Roma Tiburtina sign. I called the Amigo Tours office but no one picked up. Very disappointing experience considering that I had booked several tours over the past few years with Viator.
