- If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
- If you purchase a reduced ticket and you are not under 16 years old or a student under 26 years old with a valid STUDENT PHOTO ID, the Vatican will deny your entry and you will not be able to visit the Vatican or join the tour.
- All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security.
- Knees & Shoulders MUST be covered for both men & women.
- Some monuments or areas may be under restoration and subject to last minute closures. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- It is not possible to contact guides when they are inside the Vatican museums, it is the clients responsibility to stay with the guided tour group, if you lose your guide inside the Vatican, there is nothing we can do in this case.
- Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
- St. Peter's Basilica is subject to last minute closures for religous events, and the Papal audience on some Wednesday and Saturday mornings. In the event that it is closed if you have selected the option to visit St. Peter's Basilica you will have an extended tour of the Vatican museums. The Basilica is free to enter and we do not have any control in the event of these closures it is not possible to provide a refund under these circumstances.

Christine is undoubtedly the BEST tour guide in Rome. We were so fortunate to have her lead us through the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. She was engaging, entertaining, and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend requesting her specifically for your tour!

Our guide, Christine, was excellent. Very knowledgeable as she had a background in art history, had connections with the Vatican granting us additional access. She made smart choices, keeping us out of the sun and gathering us close, presenting us Sistine Chapel info in the air conditioning. She gave us info in a conversational interesting manner. She provided us with some unique facts and some personal experiences. She maneuvered us through the crowds well. Her personality was charming and authentic-I could readily see her as a friend. Only positives here and no negatives! Glad we took this tour-saw many awesome, impressive sights! Would recommend to others for sure!

Overall, this was a great tour. There was a little confusion in finding the correct location to check in, as there were two similar offices on this street and no Viator signage. Once we found the correct location, it was great. It was super hot when we visited (Aug. 3), but the crowds were a little less than normal. Our director was originally from the U. S. and easy to understand. She provided several "insider" points of interest to our group, before entering, so we could be sure to look for them.
The "skip the line" benefit worked great!

I had a wonderful tour of the Vatican, the Sistine chapel and Saint Peter‘s Basilica and it all went very smoothly very fast and I enjoyed the experience. I had compared the pricing to other tour companies and while this ticket was a little bit more expensive I felt more assured there would be less hiccups, and that was true. Tour guide was great spoke great English and was friendly. Bring a water bottle with you when you come.

Exceptional experience. Our tour guide Deborah was delightful woth such great insite and charisma. She made sure kids had upfront views of all the statues, paintings, etc. She had a great rapport with the Vatican Staff which made for a stress free visit. Would highly recommend due to her attention to detail, information, care for attendees and demeanor.

Your guide was excellent, gave historical info prior to each stop. Viatour’s add and price for tour was not legitimate. Roads not staggered, indoor locations not air conditioned except for Sistine chapel, a miracle no one needed an ambulance. Overpriced and over charged.

Do not attempt touring the Vatican without a guide! I watched our guide (Debra) work us through the crowded lines I was grateful we had her! She knew exactly where to position us and how to get us through the tour without feeling the pressure of the crowds. On top of that she was extremely knowledgable, had great stories, and made sure every one in our group saw the most important and fascinating parts of each area. I noticed she was well known by the Vatican staff and that they had a high respect for her as well. Thank you Debra for making our tour amazing!

It may come as no surprise but the sheer numbers of people visiting was quite overwhelming on occasions and prevented quality time and opportunities to enjoy the exhibitions and artworks.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a very difficult job to do in terms of keeping the group together but she (Deborah from Maya Tours) was occasionally over-officious and quite rude. Overall, though, a memorable visit.

Great way to bypass the huge lines. It’s still crowded at various points within the Vatican, but I was so thankful for someone who really knew their way around. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. I wish I had caught our tour guide’s name. He was the perfect blend of informative, caring, and funny.

2.5 hours was the perfect length for the tour of the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica with kids! So impressed by how proactively Moen efficiently covered a lot of information while being so concerned with our comfort in the heat, pausing for bathrooms and water refills.

Kristina, our tour guide was amazing. Originally from USA but has been in Rome for over 20 years so no language barrier at all. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny at times and very focused on her group and what was going on around her. She knew went to speed us up or slow us down to avoid the crowds and she kept us out of the heat/direct sun as much as possible she allowed us each personal/quiet time to pray at their appropriate times. She took her time after the tour was over and wrote down the names of some restaurants and must see places/things to do. I personally wish we would have started the tour an hour earlier to avoid some of the lines. Our finish time ran into lunchtime and my daughter’s were “ready to leave“ because they were hungry. If we had started earlier, I would have had more time at Saint Peter’s Basilica to enjoy this beautifully. Amazing church! Would definitely recommend the Skip the line tickets.

My 15 year old granddaughter and I toured the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter ‘s Basilica with Deny, our delightful and knowledgeable guide. She skillfully guided us through the crowds and prepped us for what we were about to see. Her English was perfect, and as an artist, she was able to point out special features that made our visit more interesting. She told stories that helped us remember features that could be overwhelming—there is so much to see.
