Isabella is an excellent guide - great tour!
Isabella is an excellent guide and I had a wonderful time. She's very knowledgeable and had some great stories to add as well. The length of the tour was good - and the pace was too. There was so much delicious food to eat. I highly recommend this tour!

Isabella = Community
Isabella immediately won us over with her care and understanding for our specific tour needs, and she went above and beyond by ensuring we were even provided extra food while having to leave early. Absolute gem of a human and a discerning soul.
The tour was immersive and magnificent at inculcating someone with the heart of asan Francisco’s Chinatown community—whether watching the checkers players from the courtyard or sampling an onion roll—Isabella delivered an incredibly special tour.

The Only Way to Sample Yosemite
Our Yosemite tour with Steven was nothing short of magical. We have taken dozens of day trips in our time together, and usually they are great and special—but this one hits so much more than the typical environmental adventure.
First, Steven’s level of forethought and design to mitigate a daunting 6-hour round trip commute was masterful: bookend with 90-minute nap times; stop at a grocery store on the front end to get food for the day and a fruit market on the back end to leave with fresh Californian produce; and in the remaining 90-min of drive time, show two different documentaries on rock climbing.
Second, the Yosemite experience and drive strategy was flawless, leading to probably the best photos we have ever snapped on this continent. Getting to see El Capitan, multiple waterfalls, and Sequoias all in the same day with absolutely stunning weather was priceless for us both.
But most of all, it’s Steven’s unparalleled passion for these woodlands and highlands that inspires everyone to journey within themselves to understand our need to be better stewards of our world.
TLDR: Stop looking for a Yosemite sampler tour, just choose Steven. You won’t be disappointed.

You will be doing a lot...
You will be doing a lot of walking. I mean ALOT. Wear comfortable shoes & layer your clothing. Andre, our tour guide was gracious & highly knowledgeable of the culture, customs & the areas we were passing through. Highly enjoyable & you will eat numerous items throughout the tour! Our favorite being this little shop called Elena's Bread on Columbus Ave! Amazing baklava & sweet bread! We ended up going back & purchasing more items after the tour ended. Over all it is a fun experience!

Don’t miss this!
Wow! What a great way to experience the Mission District. Mark was an amazing guide, full of information and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed this itinerary, the history and of course the food. Don’t hesitate to book this if you are looking for a great overview of history, culture and delicious food tastings!

I highly recommend this...
I highly recommend this tour, especially if you want a great overview of San Francisco.
The itinerary is incredibly well-paced. We hit all the major highlights—Fisherman's Wharf and Chinatown to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Redwoods—without ever feeling rushed. It was the perfect introduction to San Francisco, giving us a fantastic feel for the city and helping us figure out exactly where we want to go back and explore more deeply on our own.
Our guide was excellent: genuinely knowledgeable, funny, and full of great insider tips about the city.
If you want a seamless, fun, and comprehensive day in SF, this tour is absolutely worth it.

An Unforgetable Memory
If you want to learn the hidden secrets of SF, this is the tour for you. The groups are small and the VW buses are a fun way to experience the sights. Clay, our guide was super. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He claimed he once worked for the U.S. State dept but we were convinced he was a free-lance stand up comic. We are suggesting to our families and friends visiting SF that they take this tour and request Clay.

Excellent San Fransisco Adventure
Excellent city tour. Had a little trouble finding the guide at the start (not her fault) as exact directions were not given, but guide immediately let her boss know to have location for start of tour clarified (good customer service). The tour took us throughout San Fransisco to places I had always wanted to see but could never see on my own. Guide was extremely knowledgeable with local history. Trip included travel on all forms of city transportation (cable cars, trolleys, buses, subway) and she even included a Waymo taxi ride. Guide made several restaurant recommendations during tour which we bookmarked for future reference. (ate at two of the recommended restaurants and food was fantastic). Would definitely recommend the tour for anyone looking for a full day experience with helpful tips for future exploring of the city. Great job.

Marcus is awesome!
The trip started a little rocky with our guide calling after 10 ( trip started at 10) to say they would be at the shop in 20 minutes. Marcus showed up for his 11:00 city tour trip and saved the day. I was able to go on his tour instead- and I'm so glad the first trip didn't pan out!! Marcus knew a lot of San Francisco history, and had a great book on the ride to share even more! If I were to do it all again I wouldn't hesitate to book the city tour with Marcus- worth the 4 hours if you want to bike through all parts of the city. I had plenty of time to bike to Crissy park, onto the Golden Gate bridge, into Sausalito with a quick bite to eat and back to the shop before time to turn in the bike. Thank you Marcus for showing me around the amazing San Francisco!

Muir Woods and Alcatraz
Van is a bit tight and lots of curvy roads. Muir Woods was the clear winner of this experience for me. I booked the trip for Alcatraz but was extremely pleased with Muir Woods. Alcatraz was ok but we went on the weekend so it was a bit crowded. The only negative for this trip was the ferry. They packed people onto the ferry with extremely limited places to sit and standing room was shoulder to shoulder.

Muir woods
Wow! Does Buddy have a lot of knowledge about San Francisco and the area around. I learned so much. Very comfortable in the van. Could hear him well with his speaker. Easy to understand his instructions when to get back to the bus after walks through Muir Woods and Sausalito

Worth it!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Ideal weather, and our guide Jonathan provided plenty of insights and history about the city and Muir Woods. Would highly recommend to others! One note that others have said: It’s not an exaggeration that the last few miles of the ride into the park is rough if you’re prone to car sickness. LOTS of twists and turns. Everything else was A+.

Move over cable cars—San Francisco is a town best explored on foot. The compact city is 7 square miles (18 square kilometers) of dense neighborhoods, historic alleyways, hilltop viewpoints, and urban green spaces. While San Francisco walking tours are great for experiencing the unique character of city neighborhoods—and even a certain world-renowned bridge—they can venture beyond the beaten trails that bus tours rarely tread. They're also often organized around themes such as architecture, hiking, street art, cuisine, history, and even ghosts.
