Top San Francisco Walking Tours

Excellent tour, Peter picked us up and we left early to beat the crowds. Worked beautifully. We were at Muir Woods while there were very few people and it made the experience very serene. He took us to another spot for pictures of Golden Gate that were unobscured by fog. Absolutely wonderful. Sausalito was very upscale touristy but that was to be expected. Great tour.

We had a great time. Eric, our tour guide, was awesome. He was funny, engaging, and professional. The tour was really fascinating and the stories were spooky. The only warning I’ll give to anyone interested is, the 1.5 mile walk seems short, but when you’re going up Nob Hill on foot - it’s a workout! Otherwise, a fantastic tour. I would book again!

Excellent way to see San Francisco and the surrounding areas! Roman was the most excellent tour guide and made our experience very memorable!!!! We learned so much about the history of the area and the people who live there. We were amazed at all the information that we were given while enroute to our next destination! I really enjoyed my San Francisco day tour. It was a great way to see so much of the city in a short amount of time, especially as someone visiting and trying to understand the different neighborhoods, history, and culture. The tour was informative, interesting, and gave me a better appreciation for how colorful and unique San Francisco is. I especially enjoyed learning about the Castro, the city’s LGBTQ+ history and the stories connected to different landmarks. The guide shared a lot of details that I probably would not have learned just walking around by myself. It made the city feel more alive and meaningful.

This tour was amazing, our driver, Alberto, was very accommodating and kept us on schedule. We were able to view waterfalls, giant sequoias, hike, eat, and see scenic views. Alberto was also informative on different landmarks and history as well as agriculture we passed on the way. I went with my grandmother and he also accommodated her not being able to walk long distance to see the sequoias while I hiked. We had a great time!

Was absolutely everything i dreamed it would be. My tour guide Ben was very insightful and knew all the cool picture spots and cool stories. He also was my family’s tour guide for Muir Woods and just was amazing with my loud family. The 3 hours to yourself was nice got to hike some and see the waterfalls and views. Just want too say thank you again too my amazing tour guide he was truly amazing. -Amber

The owner is FABULOUS! He has a great way of sharing history and is excellent at connecting with his guests and telling the best stories. I love the details of the house and how well preserved the home is. My 14 year old daughter also loved the experience. George left a lasting impression on her (on both of us, but at 14, she was really impacted). She observed how kind and generous he is and what an amazing life he has that is enriched by a variety of people in all areas of life. It is inspirational to see how kindness really does come back in the most pleasant and unexpected ways. Thank you, George, for your incredible hospitality. My only regret is that I did not bring my whole family. We will begin planning our next SF trip and this will be on the top of our list!

What a SPECTACULAR Experience. Our Guide, DARA, was amazing. She is a local San Francisco girl & was a wealth of knowledge. It’s a small group tour so our family of 5 got a private tour. We started at the Cable Car Museum & she explained the history & engineering of the street cars. Then we walked to China Town & had the yummiest yogurt drinks, dim sum & musubi. Our next stop was a bakery for Pineapple buns, which are like sweet rolls. Then we walked over to North Beach (Little Italy) & had the most authentic & freshest focaccia pizza & ended at a bakery run by an Italian family for Gelato. Dara was absolutely amazing.. 10 stars & 10 thumbs up!!! She is a wealth of knowledge & so personable & friendly. Even our teenage daughter loved the tour! There is a lot of walking so wear comfy sneakers & travel light… purses & backpacks get really heavy after you have been walking a while. There is a lot to eat & drink so come hungry! We would highly recommend this tour & only because Dara is such an incredible guide! Don’t think about it.. book now !!
