The VW bus is vintage no frills fun! On our trip we had a Knowledgeable tour guide who was also a long time SF resident so good mix of history and local life. Very enjoyable small group tour in a good frame for a short visit or to queue up for return visits.

Great Yosemite expedition
We had a great time on our trip to Yosemite! This was in no small part due to our exceptional driver/tour guide, Viktor. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and catered to his guests’ needs and comfort. We hit all the highlights of Yosemite on our trip as promised. It was a long day but definitely worth it! Highly recommended!!

The Love Bus Tour
This is a really great tour. San Francisco can feel a little overwhelming, and getting an intimate guide in a cute vintage hippie inspired ride definitely takes the edge off. The tour takes you to every place you’d want to see - especially if you are a first time visitor to San Francisco. Plenty of views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the painted ladies, Chinatown, cable, cars, and pretty much everything else you would associate with San Francisco. Excellent guide and a wonderful experience. Book early, as the minivans are not particularly large and fill up quick. Have a wonderful time. Highly recommend recommended.

It was a very hot day! I wish I would have taken a swim suit.
Tips are expected, I think they should pay their tour guides more since it is not cheap for this tour. It was a great day a long bus ride but so worth it!
You don’t get very long at the park so take the bus!

Perfect tour if you want to avoid driving to Muir Woods down the winding mountain roads
The tour to Muir Woods and Sausalito was perfect and comfortable. Our tour guide Ben was friendly and knowledgable and gave us enough time to explore the two places on our own. The van was ideal for a small group of tourists. After the tour ended, Ben dropped us off at our hotel and that was much appreciated.

Fun adventure.
Summer is foggy and cold but we had a fantastic time regardless. Especially under the Golden Gate Bridge. The staff is very helpful and enthusiastic. They have light snacks so it’s best to eat ahead of time. The boat does make really loud knocking noises that can be very alarming but we were told that’s normal. We had a great time and would recommend. We will book another type of tour with them again.

Fantastic
Fun boat ride! Get to go past Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge! Really enjoyed the commentary, but wish we would've gotten the handheld one instead of the one over the speaker, since we couldn't always hear due to the wind. Great priced for what you get!!

Wine Tour
Great day at 3 different wineries in Napa and Sonoma. We also stopped briefly on the north side of the golden state bridge for a photo opportunity. They have hotdog and fruit vendors there. I would Highly recommend eating a big breakfast or bring snacks since the lunch break is around 1:30 and you have already hit two wineries. Audio did not work on our bus so couldn’t understand anything the driver said. Other than that it was Fun

Great for families of teens!
If you are adding the Alcatraz tour, this is a full day of touring. We took our bended family with 4 teenagers and everyone loved it! A good variety of things to see and the tour guide was knowledgeable about the area and many additional details about the city and facts on the area.

Perfect mix of delicious food and local history
We loved our North Beach/Little Italy Food Tour! Isabella is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. She has built relationships with the restaurant owners and takes good care of her customers. If I ever go back to San Francisco, I would absolutely do a different tour with her.

Go Car fun in San Fran
We were originally supposed to get the 3-wheeler, but it was very chilly that day. They let us have one of the enclosed golf-cart type cars instead. We had an absolute blast! I love the audio tour guide as we drove through the various areas. We could do our own thing or stick with the GPS route. Highly recommend!!

Fun and easy to navigate tour
Our driver was fun and knowledgeable in sharing information pertinent to the tour. We especially appreciated his genuine interest in, and enthusiasm for preserving both the history of the area and in the fate of the trees. He was very clear on when things needed to happen.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Of all the San Francisco bus tours, the “love” tours that zip around the city from the Painted Ladies Victorian homes to the Twin Peaks viewpoint in Volkswagen vans might be the most fun. If these offbeat treks are a bit granola for you, other bus tours are convenient for exploring the city and surrounding areas in comfort. Hop-on hop-off bus tours offer ultimate flexibility and freedom, while guided coach tours travel to Muir Woods and even as far as Yosemite National Park and the Monterey and Carmel area.
