Itinerary
Make your way to the pier at Fisherman's Wharf in time for your chosen departure time (depending on the season). Listen to relaxing background music and watch the sights pass by on San Francisco Bay.
All cruise vessels operate on bio-diesel — a renewable energy source — and offer heated indoor spaces or outdoor viewing decks. There is no assigned seating or formal dress required during this casual, relaxing evening cruise.
Sunset Bay Cruise: If you embark during late March through early November, you’ll watch the sun setting over the the Pacific Ocean as you cruise toward the Marin Headlands and past the Golden Gate Bridge. Glide past Alcatraz, Angel Island and the San Francisco Bay Bridge.. On your return to Fisherman's Wharf you'll see many more notable sights, including the Presidio, the Marina District and Fort Mason.
City Lights Cruise: In the winter, the cruise makes the most of San Francisco’s spectacular city lights on a twilight tour. After the sun sets over the horizon, you'll glide past San Francisco's modern skyscrapers, historic landmarks, the infamous Alcatraz Island and both the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy the illuminated skyline — an unmissable San Francisco view.

It was a beautiful sunny day, so an incredible sunset. Lots of space on the ship we were on and indoor heated spaces on the ground and first floor, for when it got a bit too cold on the top floor. Special thanks to the crew on board who were kind and helpful.

This was a beautiful trip. The only thing that would have made it better would be the capability to stop time to enjoy the sunset longer. I wish I would have brought a blanket to wrap around us for more warmth so we could have been outside longer.

It was an amazing experience filled with amazing views, fun facts and memories. I would suggest bringing a sweater in the spring it does get a little windy. Remember to charge your phone. Other than that it was a core memory cruise

We really enjoyed the city lights cruise, and seeing the beauty of the Sausalito side of the bay was absolutely breathtaking. I knew we were going to the Golden Gate Bridge, but being so close—right under the bridge and next to Alcatraz—was surreal. The city skyline and port were magical, especially as the lights danced across the water.
There was plenty of seating, and I loved being able to move around and experience different views from various parts of the boat. The 2-hour duration was perfect—relaxed, unhurried, and just enough time to soak it all in. We ordered food beforehand, and the drinks and snacks onboard were reasonably priced and convenient.
One of my favorite parts of the entire experience was simply being present—watching the sun set behind the Golden Gate Bridge and seeing the city come alive at night. It felt peaceful, almost cinematic, like a moment you don’t want to rush through. Even the kids were in awe, taking it all in with big smiles and curiosity.
Chantil the bartender was such a joy—warm, engaging, and her drinks were spot on! She truly added to the overall experience.
This cruise struck the perfect balance between peaceful and unforgettable. Whether you’re a local wanting to see San Francisco from a new perspective or visiting for the first time, this is such a unique and rewarding experience. I’d absolutely recommend it—and I’ll definitely be back.

This boat cruise was a really fun and relaxing experience. Boarding was smooth and everything stayed on schedule, which made it stress-free from start to finish. I loved that you can bring your own food (no alcohol allowed), and there’s a bar with snacks available onboard. The boat has three levels an indoor area with the bar, an outdoor seating level, and a top deck with the best views. The bathrooms were clean, which I definitely appreciated.
The guide was engaging and shared helpful information throughout the ride. You get beautiful views of Sausalito, the Bay Bridge, and the sunset was absolutely stunning. It’s peaceful overall, though music isn’t very loud on the top deck. Definitely worth it for the views and vibe!

Perfect weather, such a relaxing and pleasant experience. The bartender was outstanding, great personality and wonderful customer service skills (hate that I didn't grab her name but she was working the main bar on the boat that evening). Only complaint would be some of the other guests- loud/rude/messy. It was actually incredible to see how gross and lazy some of these people were, spilling and making huge messes all over the place. We did our best to ignore that and had a great time.

Took my daughter, her best friend, and my husband for my daughters 18 birthday outing. They have never been on a boat and they Loved it!!! Such breath taking views and audio was a plus.

Would definitely bring layers if going in winter. I was sweating at 1730 by the end i was shivering. The views were amazing. It was a little rocky out by the Golden Gate bridge for those with motion sickness. Also the full bar was a nice touch and reasonably priced.

Great tour of the city, Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, and around Alcatraz by boat. The tour took us under the GGB, around Alcatraz under the Bay Bridge past the San francisco city Embarcadero coast line at night with the SF city lit up in the background. It was a setup for great pictures and memories. Even as a native to the Bay Area. Sometimes I forget about all the treasures San Francisco holds and I was reminded of a few of them on this tour. I highly recommend this night tour as a date. Dress warm it gets cold!

We had an incredible time on the Under the Light Cruise! From start to finish, everything was well organized and relaxing. The views were absolutely beautiful, especially at night, and seeing the water light up was truly unforgettable.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and welcome. They explained everything clearly and made the experience even more enjoyable.
This was a perfect way to unwind and enjoy something unique. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a fun, peaceful, and memorable experience. We will definitely be coming back!

It definetly is NOT 2 hours long. We left the pair late at 5:40pm instead of 5:30pm and it docked at 7:27pm and not 7:40pm which would have been two hours. I hate getting ripped off on these tours with time. It drives me crazy.

We left the dock that day a little after 5:30 trying to get everyone on board and we came back at 7:30 to make sure we were not infringing on anyone's plans. It is extremely rare for us to leave late and are usually very on time. I sincerely apologize that this was the experience you had with us as it does not reflect us as a company.

A great evening tour to see both the city and Golden Gate Bridge in daylight and then the skyline light up after the sun went down. Going under the bridge and seeing it from all angles was spectacular. Getting close to Alcatraz Island was cool as well. Highly recommend this tour.

Actually going right beneath the Golden Gate Bridge was an amazing experience. I think after boating by the Alcatraz it should end. After that it was very boring and still had an hour to go

Awesome tour. It wasn't marketed as a sunset tour, but it was. We saw the sun going down as we headed towards the Golden Gate Bridge, then the city light up for the night as the tour continued. Definitely worth the price.
