Leader was extremely knowledgeable! We got to see many sites and try lots of foods. Truly enjoyed the experience. Did seem a little rushed and we were running to keep up at times.

Brian was our tour guide and he did an awesome job. We learned a lot and we saw a lot. He had hand sanitizer to make sure our hands were kept sanitized great job. He was very engaging and funny. We got some samples from Z. CIoccolato fudge, taffy. We had tea samples and I bought some. Got fortune cookies they came plain, strawberry green tea just to name a few in Chinatown. Saw a mural of my favorite martial artist Bruce Lee. We ate as a group at the Wok Shop fresh cooked duck, cauliflower, green beans etc. We had Margherita pizza at Steps of Rome as a group where the tour ended. We went over our time so monies for tour well spent. I was full but you will want a small meal/snack later on maybe lol. I was able to compare this food tour to the one in Seattle hands down San Francisco was totally better!!!!!! The tour guide makes the difference and what you experience to eat also. Brian is the 👌 best!!!!!!

You will be comfortably full at the end! Way more food than expected. Our guide Andre gave us so much good information and even addressed the homeless folks and the right thing to do something if you want to help. I highly recommend it!

Ryan was great!! Very funny and knowledgeable of San Francisco! We started the tour in Chinatown then moved on to little Italy. There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes!! I’d say 75% of the food is in Chinatown and 25% in little Italy. We walked by so many amazing places and saw so many fun things during our tour: a low-rider that was bouncing up and down with a toddler in the backseat was a highlight! I would highly recommend this tour!!

Fantastic tour!!! Lots of incredible information. We walked around Chinatown for over an hour before the tour and somehow the tour took us to so many places we missed! It was really one of the best food tours I’ve ever been on. The food is a great variety of Chinese and Italian and all of it was really delicious! Shoutout to our guide Ryan! He made the tour extra special with his enthusiasm!

Andre was our guide and he was THE BEST! He told us great history and stories about both Chinatown and North Beach (Little Italy.). He was great about being efficient and keeping everyone on track without mashing us feel rushed. We had several food stops, trying a great variety of interesting foods, and left feeling completely stuffed. Andre was so kind to all of the local street musicians and the unhoused, knowing many of them by name, taking care of them as we went along. Andre also knew many of the restaurant and shop owners along the walk, even if we were not stopping at those establishments. Andre was energetic and fun, the food was great, and we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our tour and our guide, Andre was awesome and was able to provide us with so much history and great stories about the city's past. He also told us a lot about the realties of the city post COVID which I found really interesting and made me want to explore other areas of the city even more to get a true appreciation for the city as a whole. We had a lovely time. Delightful tour guide Andre, and met some terrific and friendly folks. Eat a lot of realy great food, GO HUNGRY! My favorites things were all the murals, the sandwiches from "Molinari's", the tea shop"Ital Tealeaf" and the final cannoli. Sorry, I lost track of where is was, but it was a lot of walking, places, stories and food. I was tired, but full happy and happy. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

Interesting variety of food. Enjoyed the local lore, energy of the tour guide, and especially appreciated the tea lesson and bonus: Dear San Francisco preview at Fugazi! Learned a lot, had great walking, and food was excellent! Recommend taking a light jacket if you are going later in the afternoon. Definitely worth spending an afternoon with your small group.

Scott was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide with a real passion for teaching visitors about the history of San Francisco. We enjoyed an incredible variety of food—BBQ pork buns, Peking duck, noodles, pot stickers, sesame balls, fudge, salt water taffy, margherita pizza, and cannoli. Along the way, we saw memorable sights like the Bruce Lee mural, City Lights Bookstore, Café Trieste (where Coppola wrote part of the Godfather), the Banksy mural, and the Jazz mural. The tea tasting at Vital Tea Leaf was a highlight, and the four hours flew by. If you’re on the fence about a Viator food tour, don’t hesitate. Book now and ask for Scott for your guide!
