Great way to spend a few hours! We've been to San Fran before, but never got a chance to really hear about it from a local guide. We loved hearing stories about Nob Hill and eating fortune cookies! Our guide was on schedule and very friendly. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for an engaging walking tour.

We had a wonderful day out with Britt! He brought history alive by telling interesting stories at the actual site. The walk is long, 3.5 hours (skipping lunch), yet very well paced. We got to hop on a cable ride up the hill and then, thankfully, walk down. A must try if you like to have an intimate feel of the city.

Britt was very informative and fun as well. He was very attentive to all ages 68-5. He gave us a history lesson that was very interesting and took us to places that we would have never gone to on our own.

Britt’s SF walking tour NOT TO BE MISSED

    Dawn_W, Jun 2026
This is a walking tour thru diff parts of San Francisco where ur tour guide shares the history of SF and little known facts and interesting stories about each location. Because u have a human guide u r also able to ask questions for a more immersive experience. For me…i was extremely impressed and appreciative that my tour was not cancelled since there were only 2 of us…. We were able to ask many questions that might have gotten overlooked in a larger crowd setting. We were also able to really connect on a more personal level with our tour guide Britt…. who knew so much about the city’s history. He even gave us different suggestions for things to do and places to go after our tour had ended. We learned so much about the city’s historic beginnings and its commitment to ensuring the future through conscious eco-friendly investments throughout the city. I would absolutely recommend this tour …. especially if with Britt… an extremely knowledgeable and super friendly tour guide.

Memorable Day Exploring San Francisco's Highlights

    kunal_k, Jun 2026
We had a fantastic experience on the San Francisco in One Day tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared interesting history and local insights throughout the day. The itinerary was well-planned, and we really liked learning about all the stories and details that you never would have known without the tour.

This wasn't your typical tourist walk around the city — it felt like being shown San Francisco by a knowledgeable local

Britt was absolutely fantastic. This wasn't your typical tourist walk around the city — it felt like being shown San Francisco by a knowledgeable local friend. We spent the day exploring downtown San Francisco and discovering hidden alleys, historic buildings, unique landmarks, and fascinating little spots that I would have walked straight past without ever noticing. What really stood out was Britt's knowledge of the city's history. He didn't just point things out; he told the stories behind them, helping us understand how San Francisco developed into the city it is today. By the end of the tour, I felt like I had gained a genuine appreciation for the city's culture, architecture, and character. The pace was great, the information was engaging, and there was a perfect balance between history, local insights, and interesting anecdotes. If you want a deeper understanding of San Francisco beyond the usual tourist attractions, I highly recommend taking this tour with Britt.

I highly recommend this tour, especially if you want a great overview of San Francisco. The itinerary is incredibly well-paced. We hit all the major highlights—Fisherman's Wharf and Chinatown to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Redwoods—without ever feeling rushed. It was the perfect introduction to San Francisco, giving us a fantastic feel for the city and helping us figure out exactly where we want to go back and explore more deeply on our own. Our guide was excellent: genuinely knowledgeable, funny, and full of great insider tips about the city. If you want a seamless, fun, and comprehensive day in SF, this tour is absolutely worth it.

My group had such a great time on our tour with Britt! It was the perfect way to see the sights and really make the most of our one day in SF. Britt's knowledge of the rich history and culture of the city shined through, and I greatly appreciated how thoughtfully laid out the route and stops were. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to experience all that SF has to offer!

    Walking in histories footsteps!!!

    Janice_T, May 2026
Enthusiastic presenter with a terrific grasp of city history and information! Britt created the perfect tour with facts snd stories about the places we went and it seemed as if we were actually f”walking in the footsteps of those who came before us! It exceeded my expectations and it is a day I will remember for quite some time!!’

Great way to learn about some of the lesser known facts

    RichardHardy, May 2026
Britt is a very knowledgeable guide. Very friendly and enthusiastic. Lots of walking, as you would imagine, so take plenty of water, although restroom breaks are infrequent. We were offered the opportunity to break for lunch in Chinatown, but having had a cruise ship breakfast, we were more in need of a coffee stop, which sadly, we didn’t get chance to do. Only 4 of us in the group, so plenty of opportunity to ask questions of Britt and for him to chat with us.

    Lovely tour

I’ve been to SF a couple of times and thought I knew the city, but this tour completely proved me wrong! Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend

Our tour guide Britt is full of stories, history and fun facts. We’re from the area and have been to most of the common SF locations. He took us to places only locals know about. An interesting, enjoyable day! Highly recommend.

We loved this tour ! It was my first time visiting San Francisco with family and we wanted to do something different. It was cool visiting but also learning about the different sites even places I had never even been . Nob hill, Chinatown and even some hidden gems that I’ll let you all discover. The guide was knowledgeable and everyone in the group really enjoyed it! I’d highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to explore San Francisco for the eyes of a local. Thanks!

    Best tour in San Francisco!

    Erick_R, Apr 2026
Amazing tour! If you are looking for a tour that will not only take you to the main spots of San Francisco, but also the hidden gems, this is the tour for you! Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny, and you can truly see how much he loves SF. The Cathedral was simply stunning and learned so much!

    Great tour company

    Rochelle_A, Mar 2026
This tour was awesome and honestly one of the best things we did in San Francisco. It’s such a great way to see a ton of the city in one day without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We got to check out a bunch of different neighborhoods and landmarks, and it felt like a really good mix—not just the typical tourist stuff. The guide made a huge difference too—super friendly, easygoing, and shared a lot of cool facts and stories along the way without it ever feeling boring or scripted. Everything was really smooth and well organized, which made the whole day stress-free. And the cable car ride was such a fun bonus—it really made the experience feel very “San Francisco.” If you’re visiting and want an easy, fun way to see a lot of the city, I’d definitely recommend this tour.

Great and unique way to learn about San Fransisco

    Corey_T, Mar 2026
This tour was amazing! We had a limited amount of time in San Francisco and wanted a local experience to show us some cool places. Could not be happier with this tour, we got to see places I never would have thought about, and the tour guide was amazing with the kids. Highly recommend, we’ll be suggesting this to anyone we know is heading to SF.

This tour was exactly what we were looking for! It was the perfect way to see the city and learn some great history without feeling bogged down. Our guide was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and kept things moving at a really comfortable pace. We covered a ton of ground, but it never felt rushed or overwhelming. If you want a fun, stress-free way to explore and get a great overview of the area, I highly recommend booking this. 10/10 experience!

    Great tour

    Ross_L, Mar 2026
This tour was absolutely fantastic—hands down one of the best ways to experience San Francisco in a short amount of time. We covered so much of the city without ever feeling rushed. It struck the perfect balance between hitting the major highlights and discovering spots we never would have found on our own. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, and it really felt like we were seeing both the “must-see” landmarks and some hidden gems along the way. What made it stand out most was the guide. Super knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about San Francisco. The stories, history, and local insights added so much depth to the experience and made everything come alive. It’s an ideal tour whether it’s your first time in the city or you’ve been before and want a deeper appreciation of it. I’d absolutely recommend this to friends and would do it again with anyone visiting.

Great way to spend a few hours!

Came in with a small group (from South Bay) including a 1yr old. Andy was amazing with being accommodating! Our 1 yr old especially loved the cookie factory! It was fun seeing and learning more about SF from someone with all the insider information since we don't visit the city often.

    Great sf seeing tour!

Great tour experience with Tyler. We had three families and enjoyed every bit of it around San Francisco. Really knowledgeable guide and knew his stuff as many questions were thrown in given the keen interest of the landmarks pointed out. This tour did not disappoint and would recommend.

    Lots of fun!
