Great way to spend a few hours! We've been to San Fran before, but never got a chance to really hear about it from a local guide. We loved hearing stories about Nob Hill and eating fortune cookies! Our guide was on schedule and very friendly. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for an engaging walking tour.

Fantastic trip! Great way to see the city and learn the history. The key difference for this tour is you’ll also get to see things off the beaten path and learn about the hidden gems that every other tour won’t cover. A true expert local perspective that you won’t find everywhere else. Highly recommend! Will definitely book again anytime I’m with friends unfamiliar with SF.

We loved this tour ! It was my first time visiting San Francisco with family and we wanted to do something different. It was cool visiting but also learning about the different sites even places I had never even been . Nob hill, Chinatown and even some hidden gems that I’ll let you all discover. The guide was knowledgeable and everyone in the group really enjoyed it! I’d highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to explore San Francisco for the eyes of a local. Thanks!

Amazing tour! If you are looking for a tour that will not only take you to the main spots of San Francisco, but also the hidden gems, this is the tour for you! Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny, and you can truly see how much he loves SF. The Cathedral was simply stunning and learned so much!

    Great tour company

This tour was awesome and honestly one of the best things we did in San Francisco. It’s such a great way to see a ton of the city in one day without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We got to check out a bunch of different neighborhoods and landmarks, and it felt like a really good mix—not just the typical tourist stuff. The guide made a huge difference too—super friendly, easygoing, and shared a lot of cool facts and stories along the way without it ever feeling boring or scripted. Everything was really smooth and well organized, which made the whole day stress-free. And the cable car ride was such a fun bonus—it really made the experience feel very “San Francisco.” If you’re visiting and want an easy, fun way to see a lot of the city, I’d definitely recommend this tour.

Great and unique way to learn about San Fransisco

This tour was amazing! We had a limited amount of time in San Francisco and wanted a local experience to show us some cool places. Could not be happier with this tour, we got to see places I never would have thought about, and the tour guide was amazing with the kids. Highly recommend, we’ll be suggesting this to anyone we know is heading to SF.

This tour was exactly what we were looking for! It was the perfect way to see the city and learn some great history without feeling bogged down. Our guide was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and kept things moving at a really comfortable pace. We covered a ton of ground, but it never felt rushed or overwhelming. If you want a fun, stress-free way to explore and get a great overview of the area, I highly recommend booking this. 10/10 experience!

    Great tour

    Ross_L, Mar 2026
This tour was absolutely fantastic—hands down one of the best ways to experience San Francisco in a short amount of time. We covered so much of the city without ever feeling rushed. It struck the perfect balance between hitting the major highlights and discovering spots we never would have found on our own. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, and it really felt like we were seeing both the “must-see” landmarks and some hidden gems along the way. What made it stand out most was the guide. Super knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about San Francisco. The stories, history, and local insights added so much depth to the experience and made everything come alive. It’s an ideal tour whether it’s your first time in the city or you’ve been before and want a deeper appreciation of it. I’d absolutely recommend this to friends and would do it again with anyone visiting.

Great way to spend a few hours!

Came in with a small group (from South Bay) including a 1yr old. Andy was amazing with being accommodating! Our 1 yr old especially loved the cookie factory! It was fun seeing and learning more about SF from someone with all the insider information since we don't visit the city often.

    Great sf seeing tour!

Great tour experience with Tyler. We had three families and enjoyed every bit of it around San Francisco. Really knowledgeable guide and knew his stuff as many questions were thrown in given the keen interest of the landmarks pointed out. This tour did not disappoint and would recommend.

    Lots of fun!

Excellent tour guide with detailed knowledge of San Francisco. Treated our group with kindness and we learned some interesting things along the way. 10/10 experience.

5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Must-Do in San Francisco If you’re visiting San Francisco and only have time for one activity, make it this walking tour. From start to finish, it was an outstanding experience that left our whole group genuinely impressed. Our guide was phenomenal, clearly passionate about the city, full of fascinating stories, and great at keeping the energy up throughout. We covered iconic landmarks alongside hidden gems we never would have found on our own, and every stop felt purposeful. The pacing was perfect: enough time to soak everything in without ever feeling rushed or bored. What sets this tour apart is how it brings the city to life. San Francisco has layers of history, culture, and character, and this tour peels them back in a way that no guidebook can match. By the end, we felt like we actually understood the city, not just saw it. Highly recommend for first-timers and repeat visitors alike. We’ll absolutely be booking again on our next trip.

Went with my big extended family, lots of adults and kids. I don’t usually do tours, but this seemed like a great way to see the city while doing something fun and memorable with the whole family. The tour was really easy to book, and they even reached out ahead of time to see if we had any questions. Everyone really enjoyed it, young and old alike! Already knew a lot about SF, having visited many times, but I found that I still had so much more to learn! We especially enjoyed the “Wild West”section of the city. The stories in that area were really funny. Our guide, Mike, did a great job. He was super helpful throughout the experience and had good suggestions for things to do after the tour. Highly recommend this tour!

    Wonderful Tour!

★★★★★ Fantastic Way to Experience the Real San Francisco

    Egan_V, Mar 2026
This was one of the best tours we’ve done while traveling. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely funny, which made the entire experience both informative and entertaining. You could tell they truly love San Francisco and enjoy sharing its stories. What made this tour stand out was how immersive and thoughtfully planned it was. Instead of just hitting the typical tourist spots, we explored hidden alleys, historic corners, and lesser-known areas that we definitely would have missed on our own. The historical storytelling—from the Gold Rush days in Jackson Square to the wealth of Nob Hill—was fascinating and brought the city to life. The cable car ride was a highlight, and walking through neighborhoods like Chinatown and Little Italy added so much character and flavor to the experience. We also loved stopping at the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company and ending at the Ferry Building with incredible waterfront views. The guide’s sense of humor and helpfulness really made the tour special—they answered every question and gave great local recommendations along the way. If you want to understand the history, culture, and personality of San Francisco—not just see it—this tour is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for both first-time visitors and anyone who wants to see the city from a local’s perspective.

Perfect Way to End Our San Francisco Trip

We decided to do a tour on the final day of our vacation in San Francisco with our family and friends, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the trip. The tour was about 4.5 hours and covered a lot of ground without ever feeling rushed. Our guide, Britt, was knowledgeable, engaging, and did a great job sharing interesting history and local insights throughout the walk. It was a fun and informative way for our whole group to see more of the city and learn things we definitely would have missed on our own. Highly recommend this tour!

    Can’t miss this walking tour

    Jennifer_O, Mar 2026
This walking tour was one of the highlights of our time in San Francisco. We had a group of 10 family members with a mix of ages, and everyone enjoyed it. Our guide did a fantastic job bringing the city’s history to life—from the Gold Rush days in Jackson Square to the stories of the railroad barons on Nob Hill. Riding the cable car during the tour was a fun touch and made the experience feel uniquely San Francisco. What we loved most was going beyond the typical tourist spots and exploring hidden streets and alleyways we never would have found on our own. The guide shared so many interesting stories and local insights that made the city feel much more alive. Ending at the Ferry Building was perfect, and we walked away feeling like we had a deeper understanding of San Francisco. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the city!

A Must Do Tour in San Francisco

    Jose_T, Mar 2026
I had an amazing experience on the San Francisco in One Day walking tour with our guide John. This tour truly stands out from the typical tourist tours in the city. John was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history of San Francisco. He did a fantastic job bringing the city’s past to life, from the Gold Rush days in Jackson Square to the elegance of Nob Hill and the stories of the railroad barons. What I appreciated most was how he mixed history with fun local insights and personal stories that made the experience feel authentic and immersive. One of the highlights was exploring places you normally wouldn’t find on your own, including hidden alleys, side streets, and local spots that made the city feel much more real than just visiting the main tourist attractions. Walking through Chinatown and Little Italy was especially memorable, and seeing how fortune cookies are made was a fun bonus. John also made the logistics of the tour super smooth, including the iconic cable car ride along the way. He kept the pace comfortable, answered everyone’s questions, and made sure the whole group was having a great time. By the time we finished at the Ferry Building, I truly felt like I had seen the best of San Francisco and understood the city on a much deeper level. If you’re looking for a tour that’s informative, fun, and full of hidden gems, I highly recommend this experience. John clearly puts a lot of care and passion into the tour, and it really shows throughout the entire experience.

    SF - you won't miss a thing!

    Lee_C, Mar 2026
This tour made the "Big Five" of SF so easy to navigate. Getting to Alcatraz can be a logistical headache, but the team handled everything perfectly. Being able to see Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39 and The bridge all in one afternoon saved us so much time and stress. The views were spectacular. A must-do for first-time visitors who want to make sure they don't miss a thing.

An entertaining and educating tour through how the locals call it, SF. (I used to call it San Fran and learned my mistake). Highly recommend.

Get to know SF in a day - totally worth it!

    Ben_G, Mar 2026
I can’t recommend this San Francisco tour highly enough! For anyone new to the city or short on time, it’s the perfect way to soak in the best of San Francisco in just a few hours. From historic buildings to the sweeping views, every stop offered something unique and memorable, with lots of photo ops. Our guide really made the experience - he was full of fun facts, stories, and local insights that brought the city to life. Walking through some of the ethnic neighborhoods felt like stepping into different worlds. The tour wrapped up at the Ferry Building Marketplace, which is an ideal spot to grab a bite and enjoy beautiful bay views. Overall, this was a fantastic, well-rounded introduction to San Francisco. If you want to get a genuine feel for the city and its neighborhoods in a short amount of time, this tour is absolutely the way to go!
