Your day will end at Pier 33, which is about a 15 minute walk away from Dylan's Tours Shop. This is where we will drop you off so you can take the ferry to Alcatraz Island and do your tour at your own pace.
Itinerary
Your tour begins in Fisherman's Wharf, where you meet your guide for a drive around San Francisco. Over the course of the day, you get a look at the city's diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping at several locations where you can hop off the bus to take photos and look around a bit.
After your city tour, enjoy a walk through the massive redwood trees in Muir Woods. Then, enjoy a drive through the quaint town of Sausalito for lunch.
If you've upgraded to the full-day tour, head back to the city and board a ferry from Pier 33 for the ride across the bay to Alcatraz Island, home to the former prison of the same name. Enjoy the prison's fascinating audio tour as you explore the cellblock.
Both tours end back at Pier 33.

Great tour and tour guide. Mark was very knowledgeable about all things San Francisco and was very kind. He even did a quiz while on the bus to identify different bands from the bay area. Highly recommend this tour as well as including the visit to alcatraz

The trip to Muir Woods is very, very winding and if you have motion sickness, take a Dramamine.
Jake was very informative and an excellent driver, but the roads are difficult for someone who gets motion sick.
The tour was amazing and you are in a magical world of redwood trees. We were transfixed by the incredible wonder of it all!

Muir Woods is phenomenal. Just do it your lungs and blood pressure will thank you. Just relaxing before going to jail. Alcetraz is very historic for reasons in didn't know.

If you are adding the Alcatraz tour, this is a full day of touring. We took our bended family with 4 teenagers and everyone loved it! A good variety of things to see and the tour guide was knowledgeable about the area and many additional details about the city and facts on the area.

We took several tours while in San Francisco on vacation and this tour was one of the best! Barry was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable about the area, especially Muir Woods which was my favorite part of the day and we never felt rushed! While at Muir Woods, Barry made sure that everyone learned about the area and got the perfect pictures to remember the trip! We also drove through the Presidio area, which I did not expect, but I’m so glad that we did. At the end of the day we took the trip to Alcatraz, which we all enjoyed and learned a lot about its history. Overall, we really enjoyed the day very much and would recommend it to everyone!

Wonderful tour! Our driver was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable about all the locations he took us to. The hike along the path in Muir Woods was beautiful. We added on the Alcatraz tour, which was wonderful as well. I highly recommend this tour!

This package tour was one of the highlights of our trip! From the towering redwoods of Muir Woods to the fascinating history of Alcatraz, every part of the experience was exceptional. The driving tour took us to several of San Francisco’s most iconic landmarks, with stops in beautiful Sausalito and plenty of scenic viewpoints sprinkled throughout the day.
The breathtaking views were absolutely unforgettable, and each stop offered something unique to see and experience. It was the perfect combination of history, nature, and sightseeing, allowing us to see so much without feeling rushed. We left with amazing memories and incredible photos.

The Tour was performed by Dylan’s Tour. Our tour was delivered by Dylan himself. Dylan provided excellent history of San Francisco from personal experience as well as significant research. He also made additional stops around San Francisco to provide excellent photo opportunities. He provided an excellent tour with personal recommendations of sights & restaurants to visit in addition to the locations called out on the tour. I would highly recommend his tour company. He made a point of getting to know a little bit about each of us on the tour.

If you’re looking for the ultimate San Francisco experience, look no further. Our tour guide was Dylan. Our day kicked off driving through the vibrant neighborhoods of North Beach and Chinatown. We then made our way to Pacific Heights and Billionaires’ Row. We got out of the vehicle here for a short walk and snapped some photos.
From there, we headed to the Presidio, where we grabbed a snack and enjoyed stunning views before making the trip across the bridge to Marin Headlands. The highlight of this portion of the day was undoubtedly Muir Woods — and “beautiful” barely does it justice. We completed a wonderful 2-mile hike through the ancient redwood groves. On the way back into the city, we passed through the charming town of Sausalito and took a quick photo stop at The Palace of Fine Arts.
Back in San Francisco, we stopped at Fisherman’s Wharf for lunch. Mid afternoon, we took the ferry ride to Alcatraz Island for a self-guided audio tour of the famous former penitentiary. The audio tour was remarkably well done, and the history of “The Rock” was fascinating.
Dylan shared his extensive knowledge of the city and also took plenty of photos for our group.
A perfectly paced and wonderful day. Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco!

Dylan’s Tours gave us a great overview of San Francisco and all the things to do. You should take this tour at the beginning of your trip and you will learn all the fun things to do based on your interests! Ronaldo was our guide and he did a fantastic job.
Went to Muir Woods, Golden Gate bridge and took a tour all over the city. Gave us an overview of all the districts in SF on a bus with a capacity of 24. Everyone was respectful and considerate of the time frame allowed.

Patrick was fantastic. We had done other tours and there was a duplication of some of the city sights but he included the music and film history which no one else had done. Fun facts and corny jokes kept it interesting. It was a full bus but comfortable. Timeframe was perfect. Highly recommend!
