17 mile drive, Monterey and Carmel tour
Our tour guide was Robert and he was so friendly and fun. The tour itself was beautiful. We had a very windy chilly day but got to see many beautiful beaches and look out points. Cannery Row is cute and quickly walkable with various food options. Pebble beach and 17 mile drive simply amazing. Carmel plaza was charming. I wish we had more time there but all in all it was a great highlight!

Beautiful Tour, loved it!
LOVED IT! Our guide was hilarious and I'd recommend this to anyone for a little half-day trip (we did the 9:45am-2:30pm tour). Muir Woods was absolutely breathtaking and we loved Sausalito! We wouldn't have seen this if we didn't do the tour and it was our favourite part of our time in SF

Best Wine Tour
Marc was my guide and made this an unforgettable experience. Pickup was seamless. He shared interesting history and had a great sense of humor. I loved learning about the local wineries and their stories. An added bonus was making friends with others on the tour by the end. Highly recommend.

Very informative and expect lots of fun. Ciao was a riot!! We had so much fun and riding around in that VW bus was the best part.
The only thing we did miss was we didn't have the bus with the flower power on the outside of the bus. Definitely take this tour!!

10/10 Tour
Excellent tour, lots of fun, definitely worth the early call time (coming from a night owl). We had an amazing time, tasted delicious wines, and appreciated the quiet of an early morning Muir woods stop.
Ben was a great host (the title "guide" does no justice!) and appreciated his enthusiasm and personal touch to the day. We met such a fantastic group of people from all around the world, it really elevated our experience. As bay area residents, these areas are fairly familiar to us, but this tour truly expanded our appreciation for these places!

The trip was well worth...
The trip was well worth the time and cost. The crew was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were the roomiest and cleanest I’ve ever encountered in a ship of this size. We were not able to climb the stairs to sit on top that day. The downstairs seating was comfortable, and the views outside good. I would recommend being sure to request the listening devices to hear the narration. We did not see them when we boarded and only noticed them when the upstairs passengers came down and returned theirs. There was a loudspeaker on the lower deck and we could hear most of the time, but sometimes the engines were too loud to hear over them. We have a good experience and were very glad we went.

Lovely day in the Sonoma wine valley 🍷
Very nice tour from San Francisco. Make sure to call the tour operators at least three days in advance to confirm hotel pick otherwise you will be contacted the night before to go to the central stop location. Very nice tour bus, we were a group of 10 and another similar bus of 10 joined us at the wineries. Plenty of time at the several stops to take pics and to have lunch on your own. Sonoma is a pricey town but less so than Napa.

For a good Yosemite Time, just let Glenda lead the way
When choosing which tour to book, convenience can be a big factor. You look for a way to get to the location while sometimes being entertained by the tour guide.
Glenda at Viator was vastly different than other tours I’ve experienced. I felt truly cared by her during the day. She was attentive to everyone’s needs while keeping a considerate schedule of activities. Glenda’s years of experience also showed when considering recent environmental changes. Case of point, we visited the park a day after a surprising April snow covered some spots of the park. She was very wise about her approach and provided everyone in the group with valuable advise, keeping our safety in mind above everything else.
Adding to all this, her storytelling skills were remarkable as well. Glenda made it seem effortless navigating the roads on our way to the park, while peppering the twists and turns with stories that gave dimension and pathos to our visit.
I gained new insights and appreciation about the Yosemite park while also marveling and the natural beauty that surrounded us.
I could keep writing about this excellent experience, but in case you need it summed it up, the title says it all: For a good Yosemite Time, just let Glenda lead the way

Muir Woods is beautiful. ...
Muir Woods is beautiful. The lunch stop in Sausalito is super fun. Gives you a great feel for the town. Lots of great information offered by guide. Photo opportunity at bridge were really nice. Alcatraz add on was worth it. Both my husband and I enjoyed the day.

I had a wonderful experience on my Yosemite tour. The scenery was breathtaking, and the entire trip was very well organized. Our guide was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, making the journey even more enjoyable. He shared many interesting stories, helped us take great photos, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. I truly appreciated his patience and the way he explained everything with such passion. This tour was the perfect way to experience Yosemite, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth, memorable, and well-guided adventure.

Excellent!
Try to take this tour early in your trip as the tour guide gives great information about the neighborhoods that may help you plan the rest of your stay. Our guide Michael was excellent - factual, fun, great advice, and shared very useful recommendations.

Definitely do this!
This was completely worth the money. Low key and no stress. Stop to take pics at Golden Gate Bridge, went to Muir Woods for an hour and a half and then free in Sausalito to explore. It was a perfect outing. Don’t eat at the cafe in Muir Woods. The kids working were rude and terrible cooks.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
A small peninsula in the middle of the California coast, San Francisco makes a strategic base camp for exploring Northern California and the Central Coast. See some of the Golden State's most iconic attractions by embarking on guided day trips from San Francisco, traveling to such destinations as California's wine country, redwood forests, national parks, and the coastal cities of Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea. Not only do these tours take care of all the planning and driving, but they can include packages with wine tastings, lunch, and dinners. Some even combine trips to two, three, or more attractions in one day.
