Highly Recommend this Tour of Sonoma and Napa
Robert was a great driver and tour guide. Our first stop was a view of the Bay Bridge and then on Sonoma.
At Jacuzzi winery in Sonoma we enjoyed the tour of the beautiful property reminiscent of an Italian villa, the wine, and the opportunity to taste flavored olive oils and vinaigrettes in the gift shop. Then on to Sonoma plaza for lunch where Robert gave great recommendations for restaurants and ice cream.
We traveled on to Artesa winery in Napa. It is built into the hillside and very modern looking with clean lines and beautiful tasting areas and patios. The two wineries we visited provided a wonderful contrast from the centuries old look of Jacuzzi winery to the modern look of Artesa. At Artesa after wine tasting we rode with Robert down to the vineyards for all you cared to eat grapes from the vine. Robert provided water bottles to wash them off.
Our last stop was the Golden Gate Bridge. Robert warned us that the temperature was 20 degrees cooler than it was in Napa and it was very windy. So we donned our jackets and left hats and sunglasses behind for a short uphill hike to get photos.
Overall I highly recommend the tour and Robert as driver/tour guide. Our only issue is that our friends from our cruise who were going with us got sick with the flu and had to cancel the night before. I would like to request a credit to be used in the future since I paid for all of our tickets and I use Viator quite often.

Great trip with Ben
Muir Woods was beautiful and well worth the trip. What made it better was the small van tour with Ben who was incredibly knowledgeable and even funny. You could tell he knows the city and offered information of interest, but also knew the answer to so many questions about the area and history. I felt safe with his driving, too. The stop at Sausalito was a nice touch, too. We have amazing photos thanks to Ben”/ knowledge of picturesque places!

Great way to see San Francisco and Alcatraz
Had difficulty finding the pick up point. But if you head to wear the cable trans turn you are in the right place. Sully the guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Was a great day. We opted for Alcatraz add on. We were dropped off at pier but there had been a communication problem with the tour company and the Alcatraz ticket office so no tickets were there. We contacted the tour company and was told to buy new tickets and we would be refunded. I have to say while we were on the boat the refund had already been issued. We can all make mistakes but it’s how they are fixed that makes the difference. It was rectified quicker than I could have imagined. Thanks. Again. A great day all round. Would def recommend.

This was a great outing!
I travelled with my husband and 10-year-old grandson. Our guide, Sharon, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We would not have had the same experience on our own. Sharon took us to great viewing spots and helped us capture some great photos. Travelling on a smaller bus/van felt more comfortable and intimate as Sharon made a point of learning all of our names.

It’s important who you hire
This experience was beautiful. Not only because of the Muir Woods but we had a tour guide that loves San Francisco. My favorite thing to do in a different city is be a tourist and he made the experience so lovely. From his extensive knowledge of the city he grew up in, to his passion and ability to keep everybody engaged. He communicated clearly and gave us pieces of San Francisco. It was a beautiful touch to incorporate music as well. Normally on long commutes, I listen to music or sleep but there really was no reason to. The woods were obviously gorgeous and getting our picture at the Golden Gate Bridge was lovely as well. I’d recommend this package. It’s worth it especially if you’re lucky enough to get a tour guide as great as ours.

Start your morning right with this tour!
Peter was our tour guide, and he was incredibly insightful and full of information throughout the day. Starting early was such a gift — not only did we avoid crowds, but we also had time for bonus stops at the Palace of Fine Arts and the Golden Gate Bridge for photo opportunities.
The main highlights were, of course, Muir Woods and Sausalito. Peter’s pacing was excellent — we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to soak in the towering redwoods and later enjoy the charm of Sausalito. The Muir Beach Overlook was another unexpected gem, offering breathtaking coastal views.
Peter’s commentary added depth at every stop, blending history, culture, and local insights. His organization and relaxed approach made the morning feel seamless and enriching.
Bottom line: This tour was well‑planned, scenic, and memorable. Pete’s guidance made it outstanding, and the combination of nature, iconic landmarks, and Sausalito charm created a perfect start to my day.

Scott was great and very...
Scott was great and very patient. Maybe too patient. The tour had chronically late passengers, which shortened the visit to Pebble Beach Golf. The main reason we booked the tour. A piece of advice, plan a restroom stop on the 2 1/2 hour drive back. My husband left his phone on the bus at departure and Scott was kind enough to turn around.

Keith is awesome!
We had Keith as our tour guide and he was amazing. The trip included a trip to Muir woods which we had plenty of time in and then also saw three wineries and lunch! Then on the way back we got to stop and take some awesome pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge! Keith the whole time was awesome, funny and a local to San Francisco gave the BEST advice, tips and history! I HIGHLY recommend Keith and he made our tour even better!

Bridge to Bridge cruise.
The staff was very friendly. The bartender made a great bloody Mary to set the mid morning cruise off to great start. The boat was very clean and the trip was great. My wife and kids loved it. The boat leaves right on time so give yourself plenty of time to park and get to the pier.

A fantastic trip to Yosemite
This was a wonderful trip from San Francisco. It was great that the pick up was right outside our hotel. The tour guide (Randall) and bus driver (Coney) were both fantastic. The tour guide was training the bus driver so we had two great men on our trip. The stop at the Safeway for potty and picking up food was wonderful. You can grab a coffee at the Starbucks inside and then grab some snacks and lunch for later in the day. I highly recommend getting lunch here because if you wait to grab lunch in Yosemite, you won't have very much time to look around the park. The lodge was very busy and I was glad we ate our lunch on the bus while driving. We stopped at a few places to get beautiful views of Half Dome and El Capitan. The views of the park are stunning. The falls weren't really "falling" as it was August and mostly dry. Spring and early summer you can see them better according to our guide.
The Tuolumne Sequoia Forest was beautiful but beware - it is about a mile down to see the trees. The walk down wasn't bad, but coming back is not for the faint at heart. It will take twice as long (longer if you have asthma or bad knees). I am glad I did it, but I heard the Muir Woods hike was much easier.
I am so glad we did this tour. It was a very long day on a bus, but you get to sit back and view the beautiful scenery as you drive by. The guide tells you about the areas as you travel by and gives you a good history of the area.

Best day of my life
First off I recommend this if you’re staying ANYWHERE in the Bay Area, because I was staying in San José and had zero issues finding an uber there quickly. Now Jayms is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, He even stopped at a fruit stand and old western gold rush town on the way, helped the trip to stretch. The view driving in is beautiful through the sierra range, then you come to tunnel view which is absolutely breathtaking, then drop into the valley. They give you the perfect amount of time to hike two trails next to the northern face and the falls, or if you’re a serious hiker Jayms will drive you up to a steeper trail. Can’t say enough about Jayms, clearly done this 1000 times an absolute pro and the park beats expectations.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
A small peninsula in the middle of the California coast, San Francisco makes a strategic base camp for exploring Northern California and the Central Coast. See some of the Golden State's most iconic attractions by embarking on guided day trips from San Francisco, traveling to such destinations as California's wine country, redwood forests, national parks, and the coastal cities of Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea. Not only do these tours take care of all the planning and driving, but they can include packages with wine tastings, lunch, and dinners. Some even combine trips to two, three, or more attractions in one day.
