Itinerary
Meet your guide and head to the Colosseum to explore the highlights of Rome's most famous ancient site. Put on an audio headset for easy listening and spend the next 90 minutes learning about the history of the amphitheater from your guide as you visit the first and second levels.
Then head over to the Roman Forum for the second part of your tour, enhanced with live commentary from your guide. After around 45 minutes exploring the forum, head up to Palatine Hill, the final stop on your tour. Wrap up your tour by admiring the ruins and learning about how Rome was founded.

- In July and August due to the heat the duration of the visit is 2 hours and a half.
- By booking our guided tour, you acknowledge and accept the Colosseum entrance ticket fees: €18 per person, or €24 per person if arena access is included, along with a Colosseum reservation fee of €2 per person. Admission is free for children under 18. Please note that the fees mentioned above cover the Colosseum entry, while the remaining cost of the experience includes services such as skilled licensed guides, headsets, booking fees, and additional tour amenities. We aim to ensure transparency, providing a clear understanding of the cost breakdown so you can fully appreciate the value of our guided experience.

Our tour guide Henry was quite honestly the best tour guide I've ever had in my life! He made the tour an absolutely mesmerizing experience. I can’t imagine the Colosseum and Roman Forum experience without a tour guide. Andy was a wonderful guide, full of knowledge, information, and fun jokes. He was engaging, spoke clearly, with enthusiasm and was careful to ensure we had opportunities to fill our water bottles and visit restrooms. We had a great time on this experience although it was *blazing* hot in Rome this day. Our guide was super helpful as we had our toddler in a stroller and he helped us traverse any places that had stairs and took us on a path that was fairly walkable with the stroller. They also let us wait for our tour (as we got there pretty early) in the booking office with AC. We did all 3 places and the only thing that was tough was being in Rome in the July heat which is no fault of the tour company. Learned so much about the actual truth of the history of Rome.

This was our second time in Rome. The first time we did not have a tour guide, and I must say that it’s 100% worth paying for a guide. I wish I knew the name of our guide but she was so incredible, knowledgeable, and made it interesting for my 11 year old daughter. She was also thoughtful of the extreme heat, providing stops under shady areas, water and bathroom break. Don’t hesitate to book this tour.

We were really excited for this tour, unfortunately our flight was cancelled by the airline so let this company know the day before requesting we rebook to another day(two days later). We fully intended to pay full price, we just sadly couldn’t make it as it was fully out of our control. Communication wasnt the best and when the day after the tour rolled around we heard back stating that they could rebook us but for a fee, turns out they wanted to us buy more tickets from them which was another 200 Euro on top of the $400 CAD we already spent. We were so sad to hear that there was no exceptions even when there was nothing we could do, so if you’re planning to use this service maybe book it later in your trip or find someone else.

Colosseum tickets are issued for a specific date, time, and named visitor. Once the original entry has passed, those tickets cannot be transferred or reused, so rescheduling requires us to purchase new tickets. This is why an additional charge was necessary rather than simply moving the existing booking.
For circumstances such as flight cancellations, guests may also be able to recover the cost through their travel insurance or the airline, depending on their coverage.

They canceled our tour because our guide was no longer qualified to give the tour just days before our trip. We booked the trip in advance because we wanted to ensure that we’d be able to do it. When they canceled we were informed that we could no longer have the time slot we originally had because it was there were essentially no guides available (again a reason we booked it so in advance). They were finally able to accommodate our original day but not time and not the same tour but assured us it would still be good. Imagine our complete and utter disappointment when we show up to find not only was it not the tour we originally wanted but now there was no live guide and that we could just follow along on an app. None of us were prepared with AirPods nor were they equipped to give us equipment to do this through the app on our phone because their archaic equipment doesn’t suit any phone in the last several years. Had we received honest communication about what was really going on we could have at least prepared ourselves. This was a trip of a lifetime for our family of 6 that we waited years to do. We wanted to really hear, see and understand the history or the colosseum. It was awful, disappointing, and sad because no one seemed to care. It left us feeling very distrusting and disappointed in this app. We will be only moving forward with Get your guide app moving forward.
