The guide was amazing. He know is subject deeply, doesn't have any language difficulty and the tour is very interesting. The only thing that disappointed me is the understand visit. I was expecting seeing the underground of the trevi fountain, but it's not that underground. It still very interesting and worth it. I would do it again!

Thank you so much for your feedback, we’re super happy you enjoyed the tour with us! 😊
During this tour we descend 9 meters (30 feet) below street level to see the 2000-year old “water castle” of the Aqua Virgo, the aqueduct that still today brings water to the Trevi fountain since 19BC.
We’re glad you enjoyed the guide and that you found the itinerary interesting 😊

We had Virginia as our guide, she was good and had lots of knowledge about all the things on the tour. It was a very hot day, so the “mall” part where you get to see some of the Aqueducts behind the housewares dept on the lower level was unexpected but the cold air was nice. She did a great job explaining everything but even she said that our time at the Trevi Fountain was more crowded than she expected so we didn’t spend much time there, although she pointed out some hidden funny aspects like lizards carved into it, so I appreciated that. She said we could come back on our own time to look at it further. Then we went to the main museum of the aqueducts and that was very cool. She had lots of interesting facts to pass along and you can tell she is very passionate about it. This was a good tour and I would recommend it.

Hi Heather, thank you for taking the time to write your feedback, we’re so happy you enjoyed the tour with Virginia 😊
During our tours our main goal is to maximize comfort, the little surprises along the way (such as the aqueduct at the department store, which is also a nice break from the heat 😉) and the historical context that you wouldn’t necessarily find on your own.
While we give you all the information and the stories you need to know about the Trevi fountain, that little extra time you might want to take for pictures and the coin toss ritual is something that is more suitable for when you’re on your own, so that you can do it at your own pace 😊 the tour ends nearby, so you can easily go back to the fountain.
Thanks again and we hope to see you soon again next time! 😊

Great tour! Frederika was a wonderful guide who really made the tour come alive-it was so much fun! We got to learn how the Spanish Steps got their name and then learned all about the aquaducts. Trevi was crowded as expected, but beautiful, and seeing the underground portion was really cool.

We chose this as our tour after the flight (to try and stay awake). It was a great decision. The tour is both indoors and outside giving you a break from the weather (it was really hot). The guide was thoughtful and knowledgeable.

Fascinating tour with Sofia. We learnt so much, but also loved her humour. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours, after which we understood so much more about the history of Rome and the water that runs beneath it. Sofia also introduced us to a wonderful ice cream shop enroute.

This was a great tour and would recommend. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Rome as we wandered through the city. This was a very great tour for the price point and seeing the underground, Aquaduct was fascinating for our family and adult children.

The tour was really cool. The aqueduct that runs to Trevi Fountain is 2000 years old. Wow, they don't make things today like they used to.

We didn't really explore that much at the listed famous sites. Don't go when it's so busy. Too many crowds!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Hi Cynthia, thanks for your feedback. We carefully design our tours to achieve a good balance between getting enough information but without staying too long in the same place, so that the tour feels dynamic, but not rushed. We’re sorry it didn’t feel like that for you and we took note of your feedback.

First off, if possible request tour guide “Federica Marrore.” She is beyond amazing, her commentary and communication skills were outstanding. When she shared her knowledge of this tour you could feel her deep conviction of love for her country. My partner and I who share a total of 70 plus years experience as flight attendants was very impressed with how she made you feel more like family and not just tourists. We will for sure be recommending this tour be a “MUST DO” when visiting your beautiful country. Thank you Federica you are such a blessing.
Response from Host, May 2026

Was somewhat difficult finding the tour guide. We w stood at the address for 15 minutes. No one came to get us. So one gentleman went looking around, and he found our tour guide in another place. Tourist came and told us where we should go.

This was a great tour with a very knowledgable and very passionate tour guide whilst also keeping it humorous. The heavens opened on the day but it didn't dampen what was a great little excursion. The behind the scenes talks about the fountain and the waterworks in general were amazing.
