- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- It is forbidden to bring inside the Colosseum: glass, sharp objects, alcohol, spray
- Customers need to show up at our office in via della Polveriera 13 in order to join this tour
- Comfortable shoes are recommended
- In July and August due to the heat the duration of the visit is 2 hours and a half
- Upon choosing our guided tour, you acknowledge and accept that the admission fee to the archaeological sites of the arena is 22 euros for adults, accompanied by a 2 EUR booking fee, and free admission ticket for children under 18. The remaining amount is voluntary and includes services provided by skilled licensed guides, headsets, booking fees, and other tour amenities. Our goal is to provide transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown, allowing you to fully recognize the value of our guided experience.

Plan to be treated like family. Sarah with an H is a fantastic guide for your day at Palentine Hill and the Colesseum. Starting at the Hill and ending in the Colesseum gives you as much time as you would like to spend in the Colesseum after the tour ends. Sarah ensures everyones needs are being met the entire journey.

It was great to skip some lines because the heat and sun are no joke even at 10am it was miserable. Tour guide was great, but it does feel a bit restricted in seeing everything

Lots of walking! In the heat it’s rough but an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it. to see the forum first and get an understanding of the center of Ancient Rome, then making your way to end at the coliseum was a grand finale.

Our guide Ken was amazing he walked us through everything as well as explained the history and even showed us the before and the after of the sights we saw. One of the most iconic moment was when walking to the arena floor and hearing Ken tell us a story to help us imagine. Let me tell you that when he did this I was able to imagine myself as an actual gladiator. I felt like I needed to raise my hands to get the full effect. That’s a tour guide that can tell you a story.

The tour guide’s English was very poor and we could barely understand what he was saying. He was also rushing and walking fast with total disregard to his guests. My wife and I are in our late fifties and could hardly keep up with him. He also could care less about whether or not his guests are thirsty/exhausted from the heat. Furthermore we never taken down to the ground level where the gladiators prepped for their fights per the description of the tour. We feel we were cheated out of $500 plus dollars as the tour to us was not worth more than $100. I am filing a major complaint about your company for your deceptive practices.

We would also like to clarify one point regarding the Colosseum access. The Arena Floor and the Underground are two different areas. The underground level, where gladiators and animals were held before entering the arena, is only included when a tour specifically provides Underground access. Your booking appears to have been for the Arena Floor, but we would like to verify exactly what was included in your reservation and whether the experience delivered matched the product description.

This was our second time visiting the colosseum in Rome. The first was a self-guided tour. This was so much better. Giuseppe was so informative that I wanted to watch Gladiator 1 and 2 immediately afterwards. So cool.

August (and even more so July) just isn’t the time to go. Our guide did a great job in finding shades as much as possible but the dangers of heat exhaustion and even stroke is real. I had problems with his accent but others in my family did not. It’s Romans history that seems a can’t-miss and does require someone with knowledge to understand. Skip-the-line is well worth it especially with the sweltering heat. Bring plenty of hydration and an electric handheld fan!

Giuseppe was a wonderful guide! He gave us information as we were walking, paced us well so we made our entry times, and gave us time/directed us to places to fill up our water or find shade (we visited during the August heatwave). He was very knowledgeable on his information, too. Make sure to book the extra portion of the tour because you do not get onto the arena floor without a higher level ticket and it is a very cool experience!

This was an enjoayble tour. It was quite a bit of walking, with a good amount of stairs and uneven ground. The walking wasn't a problem for any of us, but fair warning for those who might not be prepared to walk ~10,000 steps. Our tour guide had a lot of stories to tell, some more interesting than others. But overall, we got great views of the Colosseum and Forum, and had plenty time to soak everything up while learning some history lessons.
