- The ticket is valid only for the date and time reserved. We are unable to accommodate late arrivals due to a time entrance of the Vatican Museums tour voucher. Missed tours or tickets due to late arrivals are non-refundable. Changes cannot be made less than 24 hours before the activity starts. Please allow extra time to reach the meeting point as Rome's streets can be confusing. Meeting time is 15 minutes before the start time of the tour.
- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. ALL participants MUST cover their knees and shoulders. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
- While the Vatican Museums are equipped with elevators for wheelchair access, they are not conveniently located on the group tour route and only give access to specific sections of the Museums. As a result, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs/walkers on this tour. If you have any kind of disability and a certificate to prove it, please let us know in advance, as you might be eligible for free entry.
- Passport/ID : Due to Vatican security regulations, we strongly recommend you bring a picture of your ID document with you for all participants, in case the Vatican guards check.
- We cannot accommodate service animals.
- Please notice that we are not responsible for the number of visitors the Vatican Museums allow inside.
- Large umbrellas are not permitted, please leave these at your accommodation.
- No pictures, videos, or even speaking is allowed in the Sistine Chapel.
- St. Peter's Basilica is an active parish and therefore subject to last-minute closures due to mass or other religious events. In these cases, we will offer an extended tour of the Vatican Museums (including areas normally not part of the tour). Please note that closures of St. Peter's Basilica can happen anytime without further notice. No refunds are recognized for unexpected closures.

Early Morning tour was excellent! Tour guide Elaine was very knowledgable and made it a great experience!
We had to change our tour to a private tour last minute due to some mobility issues with my friend. The company was so accommodating and kind. Carlotta, our guide was knowledgeable, fun, and so caring. She made it the perfect morning tour and tiok care of us in the best way. We saw beautiful things, learned lots, and made memories. Before our trip to Italy, I had read a few books about Michelangelo—in Korean, of course! But seeing his works in person while listening to our guide, Cinzia, made everything I had read come together in a completely different way.
We didn’t have a lot of time, but Cinzia made every minute count. She was so passionate about the art and history and made sure we didn’t miss the stories and details that really mattered. You could tell how much she genuinely loves what she does, and that made the tour even more special.
I left the Vatican with an even greater admiration for Michelangelo—not just for his incredible work, but for his life as well.
And one last thing… as much as I admire Michelangelo, I have to say, I absolutely love Raphael’s paintings!

We had a great English lady called Elaine as our guide she was so good all the way through. I wear hearing aids so cannot use earpiece that goes into ear so she got me small head phones so that I could easily hear her commentary. She bought everything to life and so made it very interesting. We were a small group and she kept us close together so she was able to manoeuvre us into places with close views .

Tony was a fantastic guide!! Being there super early was perfect, highly recommend. The meeting office was easy - across the road and Tony then guided us swiftly and confidently though all the crowds to great spots - ahead of many others so we could make the most of it before crowds arrived. He had great little stories to share making it memorable. He was also very considerate with quick bathroom stops and of a family with a small child thinking ahead and ensuring she was ok which was sweet. We even got to see a couple of extra things not listed along the way because he was so good and thoughtful and our group was great. Thanks TONY!!

A fabulous tour. Of course it’s the Vatican, which in and of itself is so impressive, especially if you’re Catholic.
The morning check in was smooth and our group only had 5 couples, which made it more personal. Our tour guide, Cinzia, was AMAZING in every way!!!! She was knowledgeable, not only about the history of the Vatican and the many artists, but also how to navigate her way through the hoards of people. She volunteered to take our pictures at a couple of signature locations. But what stood out most about her was her passion. She is a pro’s pro!!!

This tour was absolutely incredible, I’ve unfortunately forgotten our lady tour guides name. However, she was fantastic. She kept us moving to be able to see the Vatican pretty much empty, was extremely knowledgeable but also brought in humour to keep the tour fun . I would 1000000% recommend this to anyone looking at doing the Vatican, the early wake up is definitely worth it. We also wouldn’t have been able to appreciate is half as much without the tour guide.

If you can book this tour with Jeanette-do it!! Very well educated woman who is incredibly engaging- when do you get lucky enough to get that combination!! Incredibly knowledgeable but with 2 masters in Art History it’s what you would expect. What we did not expect was the ability to explain to us lay people without making us feel stupid! She answered questions, “read the room” with various words and received comments with no judgement and appreciation. The tour at 7:30 am was a game changer and in the 100 degree heat, enabled us to be in salons without many bodies- we were able to take in this incredible space. Thank you, Jeanette!

The tour with Mario was wonderful. He’s an amazing storyteller with a great sense of humor, he helped add so much context to the sights we were seeing.
The early morning tour was a great way to cover all 3 sites and we got to take the short cut from the Sistine chapel to the Basilica.

Easy to find the starting point and very close to the Vatican, we had some minor emergency that made us 10 mins late but the operator was very good at communicating and walked us over to join the rest of the group in line. Elaine was very funny and personable and explained lots of things around the sites. Only critique would be that it would be nice to have 5-10 mins to explore the gift shops before moving on to the next location as you cannot go back. A flag would also make it easier to spot the guide amongst all of the other tours, but overall great experience!

Our guide was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, she kept us enthralled while we waited for the Vatican to open. Waiting in a queue? No, no! We were being given a history lesson about the development of the Vatican. Even though it was such a hot and crowded day, our guide managed to steer us through the other visitors as if we were the only ones there. Thank you so much!

This tour was the highlight of our time in Italy. Mario provided so much information and history — you can tell he is very passionate about art and history. Early morning appears to be the way to go to get past lines and have some moments without huge crowds. There is really no way to truly tour all of the Vatican in one day (or honestly even a month!) but this tour gave us a good start. We had our family with varying interests and all of them took something away that was meaningful. We will absolutely return, and will book another tour with Mario!

Excellent tour of the Vatican. Our guide - Elaine was an amazing guide that clearly has a passion for leading groups in the Vatican with a nice touch of humour. She provided many insightful tidbits during the tour among the usual historical information.

It was great our guide [ I'm gonna say sistina?] Was awesome. We did early morning Vatican tour she gave great information but not a history lesson like some. Great pace, we saw a lot and heard a lot but felt like we got a real feel of this amazing place.
