Fantastic tour beyond the typical ruins and places to see

This was our favorite tour in Rome. The guide, Aurellio, was extremely knowledgeable and understandable. We loved seeing all 3 aspects/places on the tour, and we had ample time to experience all three. Driver of the comfortable van made the tour comfortable. Water was offered and there was no rushing. This was also high value for what we received. Some tours in Rome were extremely costly with lower quality outcomes. This one gets a 10 out of 10!

Very easy to find the tour guide meeting point . Really well organized with excellent audio commentary. Polina was fantastic, very knowledgeable, delivered with some humour and clearly a well educated historian with a passion for ancient Rome, the Coliseum, forum and Palatine Hill.

Fun time with Fabio!

Fabio is a fabulous guide. One of the best I’ve had on vacations. He is a teacher with a fun personality. It was nice to visit some busy Trastevere spots without having to fight crowds or make decisions to sample dishes bc the guide handles everything. We are very enthusiastic eaters & well traveled in Italy so didn’t gain any new dish or drink exposures but enjoyed the tour for the social aspect & hearing some insights from the guide. Well organized & easy to book!

The tour of Vatican City, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica was amazing. There was so much to see and learn that it was a bit overwhelming. But our tour guide Leo was amazing and explained so much to us. Leo was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable and extremely enthusiastic about what he was teaching us! He kept us engaged and kept us moving. We wanted to go back again to learn more but we didn’t have the time in our vacation. You could spend several days there and only touch the surface of the history

The amazing stories you need to hear!

Our tour guide was an amazing fashion icon and a great speaker! An absolutely perfect experience! We discovered a completely different side of Rome and gained a whole new perspective on the city’s history and hidden stories. Our guide was knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and hilarious. Very enjoyable and delicious experience.

Small group (~14) led by Domenica from Carpe Diem. Five stops at well established Teastevere restaurants/cafes that included: (1) wine, cheese, and proschetto, (2) arancini, (3) three types of pizza with plenty of beer, (4) a sit down dinner consisting of bruschetta, pasta with tomato sauce, and plenty of wine, and (5) gelato. Dominica was very knowledgeable and the group bonded quickly. Like sharing a progressive meal with friends. We will remember the experience as a highlight of this trip.

Pompei and Sorrento was Fantastico!

Our day trip to Pompei, Amalfi coast and Sorrento was fantastico! Kler was very knowledgeable, helpful and clearly very proud to show us her beautiful country. She helped us with restaurant information and kept everybody moving on schedule, but not in a way that ever made us feel rushed. She was entertaining and we felt like we were in good hands. Sorrento is incredible! We will be back!
