It was extremely easy to find your way. All information was provided to know where to meet, what to bring and what we would be seeing.

It’s a LOT of walking, but covered a lot of attractions, so worth it. Loved our guide. Only problem was it was often hard to hear her clearlyon our radios. I would still recommend.
If you have only one day in Rome, I suggest buying a good, comfortable pair of walking shoes and signing up for this tour. Carolina was our guide and she was absolutely fantastic. She walked us through some of the major parts of the Vatican and thoroughly explained so much of what we were looking at. After this site, we were picked up and driven to the center of Rome where we had more walking and ended at the Trevi Fountain for a lunch break. Then we took a tour of the forum, and then the ultimate highlight: the Colosseum. It was a very long day but we left Rome feeling like we saw some of the best sites.
Our guide Maria was great. She navigated us through the crowds, shared a lot of information and stories about the art and places of interest on the tour. It was a long day, that covered the highlights of Rome which was good for our first time to the city and our limited number of days to explore.

Be prepared the Vatican is extremely crowded and avoid going on a Wednesday. We could not see St Peter’s square and the basilica because they do not allow tours on Wednesday. It was still worth the money we spent!
You really do get most of the highlights of Rome in 1 single day here, it's amazing. The only famous things you miss are really the Spanish Steps and Popolo, otherwise it's all here. You should know that you don't actually go inside or into the places you visit, with the obvious exceptions of the Vatican and it's museums and the Coliseum of course. But a stop is more than enough if you've got a day to do it. Maria was my group's guide, and let me tell you not only is she hilarious, she knows everything about everything and is a wonderful person. Thank you Maria for the thorough job and being a great tour guide. Never retire!

This was a great overview of Rome for those who are time restricted or want to see what things you may want to re-visit in more detail. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about her home city.Yes there where times when it was very busy (the Vatican) but never claustrophobic, you are in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and other people want to see it as well. The guide was able to skip long queues whenever possible. All in all well organised and an enjoyable if not tiring day.

The Tour Guy company was fabulous. I learned so much can’t wait for my booked Spain tour. Our guide even told us when to watch out for pick pockets and reminded us to drink water and provided lots of bathe breaks. It was a 7 hour tour which I loved the tour guide.

Beware- a lot of walking . Make sure you have good walking shoes and plenty of water !
Chiara was great. Informative and as patient as she could be to meet the time lines for us at the various stops on the tour. The tour was HOT. We had some older folks who struggled with the heat, but she made frequent check ins, and stops. She helped someone find a free restroom at a restaurant. She knew every nook and cranny of the tour, all of people at the vatican museum was a friendly face to her. She prepared us for where to go, what to expect, and then… as an archeologist she gave a lot of great context to the path. She gave some quirky insights that made some things more interesting than expected. You probably could make the walk in slides, but my wife and I used walking shoes and moved better than anyone else on the tour. We were able to extend our walk to the Circus Maximus. Overall, a lovely person, and the atmosphere and art, the history, the architecture, unbelievable! I have always loved greco-roman history, adding depth, and context made it all the more impressive and exciting.

Definitely a must see when you're in Rome! We hit all of the "must see" parts of Rome in the 7 hours we spent on this tour. The sites are stunning and Maria our tour guide was fantastic. She knows so much about all of it and is very entertaining. I'd happily do this tour again, great experience.

Maria was incredible! It was a long hot day but she kept us going with shade, great information and humor! Anyone taking this tour, note it is a LOT of walking but the pace was great so it didn’t seem like it. Maria is incredibly knowledgeable and has many stories about Rome. Highly recommend!!

Maria was a fabulous guide to our time in Rome. Started at the Vatican, incredible art (and crowds, go figure). Lunch with the group just after the Vatican (in air conditioning, thank goodness). Short bus hop to the old city, then a walking marathon through the usual high points, concluding with the Forum and Colusseum. Maria was incredibly informative, thoughtful, and helpful throughout the day. Would do again with her! Warning: As of late Jul 2026, much of the Vatican A/C is in the process of being replaced; it’s going to be much warmer than you expect.
The tour was fantastic. It hit all the main points of Rome without having to wait on the long lines. Our tour guide, Kate was fantastic.
Excellent guide - it was very hot and a long tour for summer but lots of information and overall a great tour - just make sure you’re in good walking shape!
Great tour of the Vatican museums.
Started at the Vatican went thru over 1/2 of the museums, but not the one with the Matisse.
Wish Ii would have read the description better as we did not go into the Basilica or the Pantheon. Walked by both.
Did see the Cistine chapel,
Trevi fountain and Colosseum, forum.
Long hot day but great way to see a lot.
