The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Vatican Museums are visited by huge numbers of people each day, but with this handy Vatican tour—which includes priority access—bypass the worst of the crowds by entering with your guide through an exclusive entranceway.
The halls and rooms of the museum complex comprise miles of historic art and antiquities, but you go straight to the highlights, such as the Gallery of the Tapestries, the Gallery of the Maps, and the Pinecone Courtyard.
Continue to the Sistine Chapel, home of two of the most important frescoes of the Italian Renaissance. Learn about Michelangelo’s "The Last Judgement" and "The Creation of Adam" from outside the chapel (no talking inside), then head on in to admire the frescoes in person.
Follow your guide into St. Peter’s Basilica to see "La Pietà," another Michelangelo masterpiece, and learn about Bernini’s bronze altar. You can stay inside St. Peter’s Basilica after your tour ends, or head outside to St. Peter’s Square, where your tour ends.

- St Peter’s Basilica & Sistine Chapel are subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
- On Wednesdays, due to the Papal Audiences, access to St Peter's Basilica is not possible in the morning.
- St Peter's Basilica is not accessible on the express tours options
- Please be advised that access to St. Peter's Basilica will not be guaranteed unless the names of all participants in the booking are provided in advance. This requirement is essential for security and the Venue organizational purposes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit.

While in the Sistine Chapel, stay close to your guide or you might inadvertently exit and not be able to return. That happened to us in mid-May and we sadly missed seeing St. Peter's Cathedral as a result. Be ready for a crush of people. Suggest visiting in the Winter, when the crowds are smaller.

We had a fantastic tour with Leo. Leo unsurprisingly was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican and of its immense historical significance. The tour will take you about 3 hours. Be aware that the Vatican is extremely crowded with dozens of tours going on, so please do not get separated from your group. The Sistine Chapel is absolutely gorgeous, but you should be aware ahead of time that there is no photography or video allowed inside the chapel. However, everywhere else, you are free to photograph. There is a lot to see, Leo did a great job of showing us the most important works! I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Rome.

Nicola was an excellent tour guide and a wealth of information. We did the small group tour at 8:40 and I was so grateful that we went early (the day got hot) and that our guide was able to easily keep track of us in the crowds. Horrible experience. We arrived at the fountain and the gate to enter told us that our voucher to get tickets was no good. We spent $148 dollars for five tickets and ended up having to buy five tickets at 2 € each when we got there to enter. The fountain, was beautiful and worth the 2 € ticket price. We only lucked out that the there was no line and did not have to wait.

Lorenzo was a fantastic guide and was extremely thorough about many highlights in the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. The only downside to the experience is fighting the crowds to keep up with our tour group, but that was expected. Even with our skip the line passes, we still waited about 20 minutes to get in. Lorenzo told us there are about 30k visitors there every day.

Visiting the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica was an amazing experience and one of the highlights of our trip. The sites are absolutely breathtaking, and we learned so much throughout the tour.
Our guide, Cosmo, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, funny, and explained everything in great detail, making the history and artwork come alive. His enthusiasm and sense of humor made the tour both educational and enjoyable.
The only downside was the price. At $350, it felt quite expensive. However, Cosmo made the experience memorable and truly elevated the tour.
Highly recommend—especially if you get Cosmo as your guide!

We had a great experience with this tour. Francesca was an excellent guide. She gave us an in depth explanation and historical background about the history and art in the Vatican, it was very crowded, but I think this tour is a great option if you want to make the most of your time in the Vatican and not waist time waiting in line.
