The museum complex spans miles of historic art and antiquities, but you go straight to the highlights, including the Gallery of the Tapestries, the Gallery of the Maps, and the Pinecone Courtyard.
Continue to the Sistine Chapel, home of two of the most important frescoes of the Italian Renaissance. Learn about Michelangelo’s "The Last Judgment" and "The Creation of Adam" from outside the chapel (no talking inside), then head on in to admire the frescoes in person.
Follow your guide into St. Peter’s Basilica to see "La Pietà," another Michelangelo masterpiece, and learn about Bernini’s bronze altar. You can stay inside St. Peter’s Basilica after your tour ends, or head outside to St. Peter’s Square, where your tour ends.

- St Peter’s Basilica & Sistine Chapel are subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
- On Wednesdays, due to the Papal Audiences, access to St Peter's Basilica is not possible in the morning.
- St Peter's Basilica is not accessible on the express tours options
- Please be advised that access to St. Peter's Basilica will not be guaranteed unless the names of all participants in the booking are provided in advance. Have one person book both and just reimburse whom ever pays up front. My friend and I booked online at the same time and yet were in two different groups.
But I must say my tour guide, Hector was amazing. He was very informative and was lighthearted. He had me laughing and well informed. I would definitely recommend.

Very crowded in the morning time making it a little hard to enjoy, but our guide Amy was amazing. She made the experience very enjoyable.
The tour was very organized and informative. Our tour guide, Amy, was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. We saw the highlights of The Vatican and were able to skip the line to enter St. Peter’s Basilica. We were very pleased with this tour.
This tour company was well organized & efficient. But the guide inside the Vatican was a little less so. After making us stand in the museum entrance for 45 minutes going over pictures of the Sistin chapel he walked extremely so. As we were not able to allow any extra time to this tour we had to leave and venture on our own. Because of that we were unable to enter St Peter's with purchasing another ticket and waiting additional time we did not have, so we missed the basicilla all togethet.
Giuseppe was excellent. Knowledgeable, kind, patient, and well spoken. Focused on highlights but answered questions and allowed as much time as possible to enjoy the tour.
Our guide, Amy, was terrific. She was knowledgeable and engaging using humor to connect with the group. She shred details about the Vatican and the artists that brought the venue to life. Thank you, Amy.
Our guide- Tania was knowledgeable and engaging. Our tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica was memorable, with breathtaking artwork and incredible historical significance. However, the experience was affected by the overwhelming crowds, which made it difficult to move comfortably, and fully appreciate the sites. The tour felt rushed in certain areas, with limited time to stop and admire the highlights. While the guide provided useful information, better crowd management, pacing, and organization would have improved the experience. Overall, the sites are extraordinary, but the crowds made the tour less enjoyable than expected.
Beautiful grounds to see. Very crowded. Our tour guide although knowledgeable talked too much at length. I felt we could have seen more if he shortened his talks
The Vatican is beautiful. Doing a tour is the way to go in order to skip the 4+ hour wait to get it. However the guide we had spoke to fast, rattled off dates with little sustenance behind, and her accent was so thick I had no clue what she was saying 75% of the time.
Very crowded but our tour guide managed everything very well. She was knowledgeable and helpful. Be prepared for a lot of walking.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and easily modified the tour when we were informed the Basilica could not be included that day. Laura navigated the crowds with ease and kept us moving without feeling rushed.
Amazing day walking the ruins. Our guide Bianca was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and communicative. She painted a vivid picture of life at the coliseum.
Our tour started at 9:00 am, we left the group at 10:30 and went out on our own. The sound system the group used did not work well so it was incredibly difficult to hear, but after an hour and a half we had only seen one thing in the museum. We spent an hour listening to the explanation of the paintings in the Sistine Chapel and then went into the museum. What was most disappointing is not getting into St Peter’s. The tickets they gave us did not have it included and when we notified the tour guide we were leaving and returned the sound systems, nothing additional was provided.

Please note that St. Peter's Basilica access is subject to Vatican restrictions and closures, as outlined in our tour description. As you chose to leave the group before the tour concluded, you may have missed the remaining itinerary. We appreciate your feedback and will share it with our team.
Our tour guide was punctual, knowledgeable and very friendly and easy to understand. She made sure that everyone could hear and understand her. We would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.
The Vatican Tour was a wonderful way to see so many amazing treasures. The meet-up was easy to find and our knowledgeable guide Iman expertly ushered us through the crowds. He moved us through the Museum calling out lots of interesting details and ensuring that we were prepared for the overwhelming art of the Sistine Chapel. We moved very quickly but felt that the highlights were covered. The tour ended in St. Peter’s where Iman gave us the highlights and the. we could stay longer if we wanted. Iman was very engaging and experienced and made the tour worth the price.
We had the best time on this tour with Haitham. A woman on our tour ended up passing out and he was so attentive to her and everyone felt they were in great hands. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept the entire group well engaged.
They did not complete the service, because they St Peter’s was closed, when we got out it was open. I should receive a refund.

Please note that access to St. Peter's Basilica is subject to Vatican closures and restrictions, which are beyond our control.
Even if the Basilica reopened later, access may not have been possible during your scheduled tour.
As outlined in our booking conditions, closures may result in an extended visit to the Vatican Museums instead, and refunds are not provided in these circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.

Our guide, Stella, was enthusiastic and positive and knowledgeable. We strongly disliked the one ear-piece headset situation - the headphones didn't stay on anyone's ear well at all and the sound quality was poor. This was not Stella's fault and she was great, but it detracted from our experience. St. Peter's was closed unexpectedly which was, again, not our guide's fault at all and so we got to see some extra rooms in the Museums that we would not have been able to see.
The tour guide is very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job explaining several rooms, art pieces, and objects I otherwise would never have learned about or appreciated in the moment. However, for my family and I, the tour was very long with little to no breaks. The tour did take the entire time, but I feel that it was so much jam-packed into such a long tour that we were overwhelmed and tired by half of the tour, and felt that sadly we did not appreciate the tour or the Vatican as much as we would have liked due to the pace of the tour. However, this is of no fault of the tour guide, as she was just wonderful.

The tour it's self was very good and extremely informative but sadly was a little rushed as my friends and myself are all 70ish
Very organized and informative and saved lots of time lining up for tickets. The tour guide Flavia was very knowledgeable and friendly.
The reason I gave a 4 out of 5 was because we paid for the St. Peter’s Balisica as part of our tour but it was not included. We had to stand in line for about 35 minutes to get in on our own. The tour company refunded approximately $27 from the $536 I paid. The company should have refunded more than that!

Amazing!!!! The artifacts in the Vatican Museum are stunning. The frescoes throughout are breathtaking. And there really aren’t words to describe the Sistine Chapel amd St Peter’s Basilica. Fabio our guide was fantastic. So knowledgeable if you can get on a tour with him I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

It was rushed through and not enough time in the Basilica and Chapel.
This was a great tour. Skip the line is the way to go! Amy (Amile) was knowledgable, humorous and got things done when she needed to take care of things during our tour.
