This tour was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Leonardo was incredible. Extremely knowledgeable about Rome, gave us tips for things to do and other things to watch out for. The food was delicious; great local spots. We even went back to a few of them later in our trip. The best part of the tour was the pride and love our guide, Leonardo, has for his city. He wanted us to love Rome like he does. Would take this tour again in a second. If you can, request Leonardo V, you won't be disappointed.

This tour and guide John Carlo were the highlight of my Italy trip! John Carlo is such a cool guy!! He shared his wealth of knowledge about food/life in Rome and Italy! He truly went above and beyond to make our tour exceptional. Thank you John Carlo!! Oh yeah, the stops and food were great too! 😋
Antonella was a great tour guide, not only showing us great places to eat but also showing us hidden spots of the city and telling us some history along the way.
We had an amazing tour with our tour guide Silvia. My daughters and I loved getting the history facts along the journey, and of course the main highlight - the food! Silvia was knowledgeable and also took note of my daughters’ names and made connections with them as well. The food highlights for us were definitely the panino and the gelato. Would recommend!

Essential Roma experience if you like food and want a unique perspective. The tour guide, Alex, is passionate about her city, country and its food. All the food was delicious however it is Alex’s infectious enthusiasm that made this tour so memorable.
Daniel (I hope I spelled your name right!) was an AMAZING host. Very knowledgeable, energetic, funny, and a great guy! We had a marvelous time. The pizza was delicious, the suppli I could kill for someday, gelato fantastic, but my favorite food was the fried artichoke! Delicioso!! Thank you so much Daniel! The history was amazing as well. I admit I shed a couple tears in the Jewish district. Daniel is the greatest tour guide of all time.

Great way to see small areas of Rome. Our guide GianCarlo was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic telling us about the history and explaining our tasting .
All tastings were delicious my favourites were Artichokes and Basil and lemon ice cream. It was a very hot day and he recognised that some of us struggled and was always caring in finding a seat etc for us to rest for a few minutes. He related well with young and older a must for all to try.
Emilia did a great job walking us to get local flavors and then gave us more than 40 food recommendations!

What an Amazing evening of food tasting and local history.
We began with filling up our water bottles like locals. Then off for several short walks and stops at five different food location. Each location offered a different tasting and they were perfect and delicious,.

We had the unique pleasure of booking a street food of Rome walking tour and our amazing guide, Giancarlo, not only shared with us some delicious suppli, porchetta, pizza, pecorino romano, and gelato, but also history and cultural lessons that were as flavorful. Giancarlo was attentive to not just sharing great food and good tips on restaurants but teaching us valuable and interesting Italian history that made it clear the tour was about far more than just food. Highly recommend!
Flame (short for Fiammetta) took us on such a fun tour around Rome. She was sure to cover all the bases and our family of four (including two teen boys) had a blast learning about the history and traditions. We were so full by the end, but it was absolutely worth it!

Sylvia Piazzolla was a fantastic host. She combined local history and food to make an enjoyable and tasty experience. She was very pleasant and even helped us secure a taxi for a ride back to the hotel.
This was a fun experience and my family enjoyed it. it was neat to learn Rome's history while walking and getting food too. Drinks included (wine if you desire), which was very welcome on a hot evening. Other reviews said the portions are super generous. We didn't find it to be too much. We definitely had to eat more after the tour. We had suppli, porchetta sandwich, pizza, fried artichoke, and gelato. Everything was delicious (the second pizza was VERY spicy!), but our favorite was the fried artichoke, as that's something that we really didn't expect. Our guide, Simona, was very nice and funny too. She was a great guide and you could tell she was proud to tell the stories of her hometown. Recommend this, though definitely not for small children or picky eaters.
Emilia was wonderful telling us history along the way of some great tastings. We had pizza, gelato, artichoke blossoms and a special sandwich.
Great start to our stay in Rome, learning about the local food and area. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and everyone was so friendly at each of the stops!
Alessandra was our tour guide and she might have been the best tour guide we have ever had and we have done many excursions and tours over the years. Wow! Knowledge of Rome and Italy were fantastic, but also just how she made teenagers also feel on the tour was best in class. There are not enough nice things to say about this tour and the food was perfect to try many different items.
Giovanni was our guide and he was AMAZING!!!! I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was more than amazing food it was a dive into culture and history! Simply fabulous.
What a fantastic experience. Myself, husband, sister and our 3 year old son were taken on this tour by Giancarlo and what an experience. We have had food tours in Italy before but this was by far the best.
The food was amazing, the stops were educational but what made this tour stand out was the customer service. Giancarlo was not put off having a 3 year old on the tour and was his best friend by the time we had our Gelato! It wasn’t all about our son either, I told Giancarlo that I had just completed a history and classics degree and he went out of his way to make sure I got my fill off history as well as food.
Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience and for allowing this history loving foodie to experience the best of both worlds!
