Itinerary
Meet your guide in Campo de Fiori, one of Rome's famous market squares, and meet some of the food vendors at their market stalls. Sample some cheese, cured meat, wine, and seasonal fruit, among other items.
Next, head for the Jewish Ghetto and Theatre of Pompey to see remains of ancient Roman structures as well as Rome's synagogue. Taste some of Rome's best pizza, as well as suppli—a traditional street food made by frying a ball of rice with tomatoes and mozzarella at its center.
Continue to the area known as Torre di Largo Argentina, where Julius Caesar was assassinated. Visit a nearby family-run gelateria to eat some of the city's best gelato. Hear how gelato is made from the shop's owner.
Choose to take this tour either at lunch or dinner time, as it is an ideal way to do some sightseeing while having a light meal as you make your way through the city.

Ramona was a delight! Very informative, warm and

Not just a great food tour (though the food was great). Our guide, Marco, made sure to include Roman history - which is of course everywhere. I’ve done several food tours in various cities and this was right in the middle of it all in Rome.

This was the highlight of our trip to Rome! We are a family of 5 and this was definitely one of our favourite memories. Ramona was amazing and very accomodating to not only our son, but other kids in the group - who were very inquisitive. We had Ramona who was incredible! The foods were amazing, asking her questions were helpful. She was very friendly, really knowledgeable, and we could tell we were getting authentic native foods. The Gelato was amazing and very different then most places we went and we learnt from her that’s because we weren’t getting authentic Gelato. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend doing this food tour early in your trip to Rome as you get to see where and what the locals eat and what Rome offers as in food. Our tour guide was very amazing!!! She was very proud to be from Rome and told us the history of each place we stop and the importance. Our kids enjoyed traveling through the city and trying different foods.

The guide was fabulous and waited for two people who were over 20 minutes late so they could join. She shared so much history and the food was wonderful! We were so full at the end and it was a great experience to hear from an expert about what we were eating and why. On reviews I read, people complained about the artichokes, but we loved them. All the food was simple and delicious.

Francesca was an amazing guide, she was friendly and very knowledgeable! Not only did we get to try some absolutely amazing foods, we got to learn lots about the history of not just Rome, but the whole central region of Italy. If you are going in July like we did, bring a water bottle! There are at least two fountains along the route.

This tour is great. Kristian is funny and engaging and the food is phenomenal. Not only do you get to eat great food you get to learn the history of the food as well. 10/10 would definitely recommend if your solo or even if you’re travelling with friends or a partner.

This was amazing! I learned more about the history of Rome on this tour than I did after a week of being here. Ramona was truly personable. She even surprised me with a birthday candle inside on top of a suppli and everyone sang happy birthday at one of our stops! So yeah, please book.

Very historic- Ramona- was extremely well versed in historic knowledge and culture of the city. Unfortunately it was stifflingly hot, otherwise the experience was fantastic. Food selections were good.
