What are people saying about Rome

5 Stars - Must Book!
We were in Italy for 2 weeks and booked multiple tours throughout multiple cites...this Colosseum tour was hands-down our favorite of them all!!! Mircea was absolutely incredible - he filled every minute of the tour with interesting fun facts, relevant context, and engaging content that stuck with us long after the tour ended. It wasn't just your typical walking tour where every guide at every company gives you the same repetitive facts, but a really comprehensive guide to the Colosseum, ancient Rome, its history, and its people, all tied into modern Rome and how it relates to world history in general. I would gladly love to talk to Mircea about Roman history over a drink - he was that friendly, engaging, and approachable. Regarding Roman Vacations in general, check-in was a breeze, everyone was so friendly, and the skip-the-line access was a huge perk! Ending the tour in the Roman Forum was great, since we were then able to explore on our own and have the context of what we'd just learned to what we were seeing beyond the tour. But in 3 hours, it felt like we saw an entire day's worth - Mircea highlighted the crucial parts of the Forum, mixed with context and history we would not have been able to understand on our own. Hands-down, I would book this tour every time I returned to Rome and recommend it to anyone. You will learn things you couldn't have ever imagined, while looking at some of the most incredible sights in history.

A GREAT Experience!!
Fabulous way to see the Colisseum, Forum and Palatine Hill. We had a very knowledgeable guide, Cinzia that did a phenomenal job of making sure our pace was good and that our group was happy with everything. Having a small group was so valuable to us!! Very much worth the extra money spent!!!

Fantastic experience!
Our tour guide, Christina (sp?) from Georgia was outstanding. Perfect English so we heard and understood her clearly. Darling personality. Her art history education and depth of knowledge was impressive. She navigated crowds, taught us, gave us space to explore, and kept everything on time. Skipping the chaotic lines and having a fast track was the way to go. Operator feedback: I would love if they had a quick QR code to send a Venmo or electronic tip to the guides. She deserved it!

Well worth the education!!!
Sev was our guide. The facts he shared about the colosseum were as interesting as seeing it. This was more than a curiosity tour… this was an educational tour! Two hours went by too quickly! Love this tour!! Well planned. Easy to find group at location. Separated into smaller groups really helped with questions and attention to detail.

When it comes to history, Rome is in a league of its own. That’s why even the most well-read history buff can find the Eternal City overwhelming, especially on their first visit. Fortunately, Rome historical tours help you cover serious ground, thanks to seasoned guides who know how to head underground at the Colosseum, where to take the best photos of St. Peter’s Basilica, and when to visit Palatine Hill to avoid the crowds. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but on a tour that includes transportation, audio guides, and skip-the-line tickets, you can easily cover its most iconic landmarks in one day.
