If you want a chill and not so touristy feel tour wherein there are flags and signs everywhere that you are a tourist group, this tour is perfect. I like it because besides that Luccio is very knowledgeable of the placed and history, this tour feels like you are just a bunch of friends walking and hanging out.
It’s informative, relaxed, and fun at the same time! Definitely recommended!!!

Nick was a great guide on this walking tour, providing information on historical sites in Rome that we wouldn’t have known about doing a standard tour on a bus or having one guide show us one site. Nick could easily answer our questions and provided additional context. His recommendations on 2 areas to find better quality meals at reasonable prices was helpful with 2 coeliacs in our family. This gave us confidence in selecting a venue for lunch.
We highly recommend this tour if you like walking around to learn about Rome’s history - events and buildings.

An interesting walking tour, seeing and talking about the history of Ancient Rome and not the usual sights. Nick’s knowledge of the history of Rome is amazing, he’s probably been doing this a while but he knew the answers to everything that was asked and more. Worth doing this tour if you want something a bit different.

My husband, 8-year-old daughter, and I took this free, tip-based walking tour shortly after we landed in Rome, and it was the best value for money and time that we spent in Rome. Nick was hands-down the best tour guide we had in Italy in general and was clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Rome, providing a lot of interesting facts and able to answer every question the group had. There was never a dull moment and everyone on our tour was engaged. There’s no doubt Nick has found his calling. He was fantastic, and we highly recommend you book a tour with his company!
