Very informative, great guide (Fulvia) but lots of walking. A good day out. The stairs in the colosseum are very steep but there is a lift available.

We went on a very busy day with a two hour wait to get through the gates but our tour guide Sofia managed to make the wait seem like nothing.

We were at the meeting spot at 8:25 20 minutes prior to the tour at 8:45. We had 3 adults asking different companies about this company. Only 2 of the many companies we asked even knew of this company. Then I messaged them on Viator and they never responded. I then contacted their “emergency” only number and they said they couldn’t find us and they would consider full refund. We asked to be added to the 9:45 but they said we could book with their other company and would consider full refund. We were at the meeting spot the entire time up to 9:45 and never saw a representative from their company. This company is a fraudulent and couldn’t be bothered to show up for a paying company.

The tour started 25 minutes late as we just stood there waiting. Very disorganized. The guide had difficulty managing the group and seemed worn out from the heat. Kept asking if anyone wanted to stop. The assistant acted very disinterested. We’ve taken probably 100 tours as we travel a lot and this had to be in the bottom 5.

You booked the tour just a few hours before it started and on two very busy days it was very, very difficult to find tours and tickets and you from the very beginning they didn’t follow the procedure asked, but we tried to be flexible . Out “disinterested” assistant made all the efforts possible to buy a new ticket. So she got a new ticket 15 minutes later than scheduled and so the group had to wait for them to join the group

Difficult to find tour because company late, disorganized, no flag held up in air to find company at meeting point. Tour guide nice but barely spoke English, no one in tour could understand well.

I scheduled a guided tour for the colosseum, Roman forum and Palatine Hill for 1:45 pm of my last day in Rome. The company cancelled the tour via email on the morning of the tour, but I didn't learned of the cancellation until after I called the company after I arrived at the meeting place and could not locate a tour guide for the company. Due to time constraints, I was not able to schedule another tour before I left Rome. So disappointing.

The guide made our experience wonderful. Although our tour was cancelled once by Viator an hour and a half before the tour was to begin on April 5th we rebooked for April 8th. That tour was delayed by one hour due to King Charles visit. Thanks goodness we had a wonderful guide, female, Italian….

Highly recommend a guided tour. This place is huge and there are separate entrances for different kinds of tickets. Our guide helped us through ticket line and bag scanners seemlessly. Taken to the best views, must see sites and least busy restroom. Tour took 3 hours (you are allowed to stay at Palatine Hill if your not too tired to retrace favorite spots). So much history shared by our guide, highly recommended.

The guide was excellent but there were a few glitches in our particular tour that tried her patience and slowed our group. Perhaps the participants at the beginning should be asked if they have the appropriate ID as indicated on the reservation. The second delay was puzzling as two guests had used their ticket provided by the tour guide until it was suddenly not accepted. Our entire group had to wait for it to be resolved before moving on. I felt we were rushed to complete the normal tour as a result of these two situations. Otherwise, it was a great tour.

We booked this tour for a specific time and made other plans around it. Two days before the scheduled date, we were told that that time slot was cancelled. They offered other times when we already had other plans. I was told that this was frequently done. DON’T COUNT ON THIS ACTUALLY Happening. It took multiple efforts to get a refund

This tour is a must, it was skip the line and line moved really fast. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Really appreciate her effort to educate us all. By the time we were around Palantine Hill it got pretty hot and few people left the group. But you are welcome to leave any time if you get tired.

The tour itself was informative and enjoyable, and our guide was wonderful.
My only complaint is that we did not receive the tour I originally booked, which was supposed to include the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. I noticed a change in the name and description a few days before our reservation and reached out to the tour company through Viator. As you can see in the picture, I was told that our tour did not include those two locations, even though the title of the original tour showed up below their response, still including the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. I don't know where the mix up happened, but we were disappointed in the change.

Hard to find the group/guide at first. Great tour, lots of really good information. Glad to have had a guide through all these sites rather than be on our own. I was a small bit disappointed we couldn't stop at the gift shop before having to rush out but i still had a great overall experience.

Mattia was an absolutely amazing guide. He was incredibly informed of not only the history of the site, but also many external facts, allowing him to form connections and comparisons with subjects we were more familiar with as a group. This resulted in an overall incredibly rich and informative tour that exceeded our expectations. He was receptive to every question we had to offer, and responded enthusiastically to each one, taking everything in stride and properly answering each one in full detail. Out of all of the tours we did on our trip, this one was certainly the most enjoyable.

Experiencing the Colloseum was great but our guide did not offer a lot in terms of information and history. He was kind enough but too old to be a guide as he walked very slowly and needed to rest often.

Tour was exceptionally disappointing, especially after having two other outstanding tours with this group over the last few weeks. The tour guide, though probably knowledgeable, seemed to be struggling with walking and the heat. He was not very talkative, was difficult to understand and not forthcoming with information unless asked. We were very concerned with his well being and thought he was going to fall numerous times. Concern for him detracted from the tour. The pace of walking was exceptionally slow due the pace of the guide. Our other guides had either electronic pad or hard copies of materials to show participants to help explain what we were seeing. That would have been very helpful. When the guide did speak, the information was not clear or there was no context of you did not have previous knowledge of some historical figures.
