Excelente tour, Luca was very knowledgeable and helpful, he explained everything in detail, I would definitely recommend this tour with Luca

The guide was incredibly knowledgeable & we totally enjoyed the tour. I highly recommend the tour. The only drawback was it's super hot in Italy but no one can do anything about that.
Spencer_W, Aug 2026
Luca was great, very informative in a relaxed enjoyable way. Would definetely recommend this trip lots to see on the walk but not overly energetic either
Katie_M, Aug 2026
Fabio made this tour amazing. He was full of information and such great passion. I would recommend booking this tour with him.
Myriam_J, Aug 2026
We had a fabulous tour with our Egyptian guide. He's clearly passionate about what he does. Although it was really hot, he made it very entertaining and interesting. It was a very insightful tour. To top it off, we got free gelato.
Larissa_M, Aug 2026
Absolutely wow! The sites were incredible, the 5pm timing was smart to avoid the summer heat, and the gelato was delicious. But I need to talk about our guide Fabio. He was absolutely spectacular. He was EXTREMELY informative but balanced the education with an extensive amount of humor. This man knew everything about everything from the name of the water spouts to the precise date of literally everything. We even learned about the drama between famous sculptors! You think you’re going to learn something? Get ready. You will learn so much more than you ever thought about Rome. Fabio took such great care of us and with all that I learned, I feel like an expert on Rome. A huge thank you to City Wonders for the extensive tour communication before the tour itself, and a HUGE thank you to the man, the myth, and most importantly the legend Fabio.

The Pantheon is all worth it by itself and the added value of a great guide to also see a lot of other places in a walkable way with a lot of historic info
Laura_L, Jul 2026
Our tour guide was extremely nice, informative, and helpful! He went above and beyond helping us around the city.
Anatoliy_L, Jul 2026
Very knowlegeable guide. Answered all of our questions. This ended up to be a private tour as nobody else showed up.
William_C, Jun 2026
A good deal of walking involved but not too bad as most paths were shaded and mostly flat. Our guide Pamela was very informative and was great at keeping all of us together. Stops in the shade along the way to discuss the current and next stop was very good. Water at the Pantheon was the best and coldest.
Heather_R, Jun 2026
Our guide was amazing and had a lot of knowledge about Rome and its history. He was articulate and answered every question we had.
Bernadette_M, Jun 2026
It was a little disappointing that we were not able to enter the Pantheon on our tour due to and event which I understand that things are not always within the tour companies control. It was still disappointing. While our tour guide, Fabio, was very friendly and informative, he tended to linger too long in certain spots which caused us to runout of time towards the end of our day.
sunil_b, Jun 2026
Hisam was our guide. He did a wonderful job on the tour explaining not only the sites we visited but other trivia too. Was very aware of some of us getting tired and took good breaks to keep everyone motivated to go.
Sam_F, Jun 2026
Really enjoyed seeing the sites of central Rome. Definitely preferred this to the ancient sites. Liked seeing the pantheon and learning about the history of Piazza Navona. Liked being given a complimentary gelato when we got to Trevi Fountain, and then seeing Spanish Steps.
Our guide, Donnatella, was very knowledgeable about everything.
Would’ve liked better reception with the audio guides, but was probably because it was quite crowded.
Thank you.

Great guide! We had a great time and the food was good. Wine was good and we enjoyed the history. We would recommend.
Billy_o, Jun 2026
Very informative. Not too difficult to walk. We had one person who had a i jury to a knee and the managed fine.
Jennifer_D, Jun 2026
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide was so informative and went above and beyond. The city was very crowded but he navigated us around like a champ! So much information we would never have gotten by just walking around the city ourselves. We loved it!
Paige_L, Jun 2026
This was hands down the best guided tour we've ever had. Our guide Luca was phenomenal - both knowledgable and entertaining. He shared so much about the history of the monuments and the city, it allowed us to learn so much about Rome in 2.5 hours. Another benefit is that you actually go inside the Pantheon with this tour, unlike some others. This tour is a must, and I would recommend doing it early in your trip to Rome so you can gain a lot of historical background that will benefit you throughout the rest of your trip!
Mary_W, Jun 2026
The streets were very crowded and busy. At times it was difficult to keep track of our guide. She could have done better keeping the pace of the group with the varied ages. The information was good and she was enthusiastic about sharing the history and culture. The gelato was nice at the end and the people in the gelato shop were patient with the large group.
Paul_B, Jun 2026
This tour was good in that it took you to the three sites and gave some great background information on each one. But we went to the Pantheon and didn't go inside (supposedly the line was too long). Then we went to the Trevi Fountain and got frozen yogurt instead of going down to where the water is. Then when we got to the base of the Spanish Steps, the tour was over. I had to go back on my own to truly experience each of these sites so the tour was pretty disappointing in that regard.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Dear Paul_B,
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that the experience did not fully meet your expectations.
Please note that the Pantheon is an active religious site, and on occasions when it is closed for religious ceremonies or when entry is free and guided visits are not permitted, our guides provide a full explanation of its history and significance from the outside to ensure guests still enjoy an informative experience.
We appreciate your comments and will share your feedback with our team as we continue to improve our tours.
Kelly_Q, Jun 2026
The tour was OK but we did not get to see the main attraction (the Pantheon) because we were told that the tour company had not purchased the tickets. This was very disappointing because we will not be back in Rome and that’s why we booked the tour
Janet_C, Jun 2026
We really enjoyed this tour. Elena gave us not only all the facts about the historic sites that we saw on the tour. She gave us information about little stores, other places of interest and places to eat. She did not rush us and took time to take pictures for the group. The group size was only six, which was amazing. The gelato and bathroom break at Trevi fountain was a nice bonus.

If it is your first time in Rome, this is a wonderful way to get an introduction to the history of many popular sites. Luca was a fantastic guide and made this tour fun. My mother and I had a great experience with him and the other travellers.
Steve_B, May 2026
The stops on this tour are both beautiful and amazing. Our guide Luca was very informative and made the tour fun.
George_B, May 2026
While we were able to see some interesting things, too much time was spent on certain items along the way. An example are the details around the first fountain we visited. We were there for 20+ minutes. The entire group looked bored.we could have done the walk in our own and arrived at the same ending.
Response from Host, May 2026
George_B,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Please accept our sincere apologies that the pacing of the tour did not meet your expectations and that too much time was spent on certain stops, such as the first fountain.
We always aim to deliver engaging and well-balanced tours, so we truly regret that the group felt bored during this portion of the walk. Your comments regarding the time allocation are incredibly valuable, and we will share this feedback with our guiding team to ensure we maintain a more dynamic and interesting pace for our guests in the future.
We appreciate your time and hope to provide you with a much better experience on a future journey.

Abby was an awesome tour guide and this tour met our expectations. She spoke clear English. I only wish we would have had slighktly more time inside the Pantheon and that the tour would have included entrance down along the Trevi Fountain
Christine_D, May 2026
Tour guide was knowledgeable and was able to squeeze in an extra site since we were moving quickly through the city! I appreciated the efficient manner in which we traveled through the city.
Keiko_T, May 2026
This tour was really a good tour to see some important sites in Rome; however, I would have thought the tour guide/company would know what time the Trevi Fountain is cleaned - we arrived there and the fountain was being cleaned and the water wouldn’t be running again for over an hour. That was very disappointing??
The gelato stop was great! The tour guide was quite knowledgeable although it was difficult to hear her with the whispers even though our volume was turned up. Sounded very muffled.
There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour. There was little to no time for shopping on this tour.
Jenn_O, May 2026
Unfortunately our experience was negative with this tour. I do not recommend, corners were cut and a full experience was not provided. The gelato was so small, no way if ordering a small and paying that you would be the size given the size we got. The person who greeted us for the tour told us to request a partial refund as they couldn't provide the full tour but Viatour will not issue any refund.
Response from Host, May 2026
Dear Jenn_O,
Thank you for your feedback. We are concerned to hear about your experience, as we have reviewed our internal logs for that day and have no reports of any incidents or disruptions to the tour itinerary. Regarding the gelato, we work with local partners to provide a tasting that is consistent with our tour agreements.
We take all feedback seriously and will continue to monitor our services to ensure the highest quality for our guests.
Mark_C, May 2026
Really glad we did this tour since it covered four main areas of interest: Piazza Navona and the Fountain of Four Rivers, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. The tour guide is excellent. Christina is thoroughly familiar with the areas covered and makes the time interesting and even humorous. I was very impressed with the fact that the tour meeting point was very close to some very nice public restrooms. That was super-convenient for everyone before the tour started. The Pantheon portion was not skip-the-line but don’t let that stop you, as it moved very quickly. Also we were expecting chaos at the Trevi Fountain, but in spite of the huge crowds, within twenty minutes we were able to have a bathroom break, get gelato samples, and get right down to the water’s edge for some great pictures. Five stars for sure!
