Wow to see the Colosseum, the forum, and Palatine hill was amazing. History seen in person. The structures and buildings were magnificent.

Tour guide never showed up. Waiting for over 20mins and no one ever showed up. Then called or texted later to ask if we wanted to go on a different tour that we did not intend or have any interest of going

All of the responsibility for finding your guide is on you and the location given was very vague. The DMs to the guide beforehand will not be answered. The DMs to Viator don't help bc they cannot contact the guide either. We did not realize that Viator is not the actual guide. It is a 3rd party and the name is listed once in small print in the notes so you have to look for someone with that name on a sign or wearing that shirt. In Rome there are hundreds of people walking around so it's not easy to find your guide. Very dissatisfied with this process.

Meeting was at piazza di San Marco 48 in front of the basilica San Marco. More clear then this we can not be and so there is nothing vague about it.
Emails are never live and can be answered later. A phone call or an WhatsApp message would have solved the problem in minutes..

Very informative.
Was expecting something else because it says by night but actually it was still daylight until 8:30pm, but at the end we enjoyed it very much. Was hoping to see a bit more of the Colosseum from nearby, but had a good spot for photos.

It was terrible!!!! Very deceptive most of the tour walked away it is a free tour that Viator charges for and you only walk past the colosseum at the very end and it will not even be dark. We asked for a refund and they were terrible rude!!!!!!

We were never terrible rude only thing we did is we just asked 1 question: How much does it cost to get into the Colosseum? Well that answer it...
We never ever told the inside of the Colosseum was included!! the more the Colosseum is closed at the time of the tour.
If someone don't read what the tour is about there is little we can do. About not being dark... Not to be rude but we think: Good thing humans can not comment when its dark or when its light!

Vlada was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable about Roman history! However this tour does not go inside the Colosseum so just make sure to read the full description if that's what you're looking for.

The tour guide (Michael) eas very good and very knowledgeable. He had so much information to proivde about the landmarks visited on the route. Whilst the tour is booked and paid for online, the tourguide doesnt recieve any money from the booking compay, so tipping is required, however due to the quailty of the tour, it was the least we could do. The tour ended at a lovely park with a great view of the colusseum. Would reccomend

We took this Tour because it was affordable and still had open slots. We ended up being the only 2 with our lovely Tour Guide from brazil. Very interesting Tour through the many layers of rome's History. I defently recommend this Tour, but one should bring comfortable shoes. Also dont be mislead this tour does not Go into the Colosseum.
One Last Thing its sad that none of the money goes to the Guide and they have to rely in Tips.

I really enjoyed my time on this walking tour, it was such a small group this night so it was very easy to hear and get all the good info. It's great value if you would like to learn some things about ancient Rome. Very good for solo travellers like myself!

Anna the tour guide was very nice and informative, the only problem is that the tour sold itself as a colosseum night tour which was the reason we booked the tour, however, the colosseum was not part of the tour. The other parts of the tour were informative.

We were fortunate in that we were the only two people who showed up for this walk, but our guide Anna did not forsake us. She did the tour with us and put her all into it, not skimping on anything. This is an excellent tour, through many of Rome's forums, and up some hills to a great view of Rome, and ending up at the Colosseum as the sun set that night. She took a wonderful photo of us that will bring memories for years.

Our guide was great, I very much enjoyed the experience. I have reduced the rating purely because of lack of transparency in ticket pricing. Our guide explained that her remuneration consists only of tips. The tour was good, and as my family of 5 made the majority in our small group, I gave significant tip, which triplicated my anticipated costs for the tour.
