Giorgio was fantastic. Informative, charming, and attuned to the needs of our group. He was especially certain that everyone had as much time as they needed for photos, etc., before moving on. It was a brutally hot day, little shade on the tour --- all out of Viator's control but be advised. Likewise anticipate huge crowds, especially on the Forum and Palatine Hill.

Favio, our tour guide was amazing. He spoke English and Italian very clearly and well. He was a wealth of information, funny, and took his time to answer any and all questions the group had. He was extremely enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed his job. His catch phrase was “attention, we attack!” The headsets were especially useful and not bulky in crowded/noisy situations. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him and would highly recommend him.

Ended up purchasing this ticket when I missed out on the deadline to order the cheaper basic ticket through the official Coliseum website. The experience could not have been more worth it. It was a very hot Sunday with large crowds. Having this Skip the Line pass Small Group Tour with Arena Floor access was exactly what we were hoping for! No lines, no waiting, wonderful information, very nice and knowledgeable guide who lead us through the immense crowds like a pro! Well worth every penny! Would highly recommend this. As they say, Time is Money— and without our experienced guide, Alicia, we would still be wandering around aimlessly, trying to figure out what line to stand in!

Our tour guide was not at the meeting point we were given and we had no way to contact him so we missed the entire tour. Now Viator is stating that they will not refund our nearly $400!! We WILL get our money back one way or another! I would not trust this company or their unreliable guides! We had another tour booked for today with a different tour operator and they called an hour prior to the tour to cancel stating they did not have a guide available! This is the worst experience I have ever had & this company is refusing to take responsibility for any of this mess! My 76 year old aunt is with us & this may very well be her last chance to experience Rome. Thanks for nothing Viator!!

The guide was incredible and the special access made the tour more than worth it. The tour guide was incedibly knowledgeable! He share stories, details about the architecture of the colosseum, historical contextual information and more. His keen interest in Ancient Rome and the colosseum was remarkable. He engaged with all members of the group by answering questions, showing renderings, and taking our photo when asked. I enjoyed every minute of the tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour with Elaina. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided so much background for us. Our only complaint was that we wanted to walk through more quickly instead of standing and listening to information for 15/20 minutes at each ruin we encountered. It was a bit frustrating. We would still highly recommend the guided tour tho. History is fascinating.

Our tour guide Amil was absolutely fantastic! She has a great sense of humor and made the amazing tour even more fun. We had booked a separate coach tour that included a tour of the exterior of the Colosseum but someone in our group mentioned that the INTERIOR was a must-see. This was so true. To see the place the games/fights/hunts/sea battles (yes, true!) happened was like being transported back two thousand years to the real deal. Highly highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was amazing and knowledgeable, great personality. I would absolutely recommend this tour. The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is because we were trapped in a hail storm, cold and soaking wet by the end of the tour.
