We really enjoyed this tour though it was windy and cold and we were underdressed. Carla was fun and we feel like we saw everything we wanted to see. Appreciate that she let us decide which stops we wanted to stop at. My only suggestion for improvement would be that she use a microphone so the people in the back seat can hear the descriptions. Between the street/traffic noises and noise from the motor/engine my friends in the back seat could not hear anything she was saying.

What a wonderful tour guide

From the first meeting Miguel set the tone of our tour. He is a diamond. Very shiny and sparkling. His smile and laugh is contagious. The entire tour he smiled and engaged with each one of us. The ride to Fátima was so much fun. There were 6 Americans and two Australias. By the time we Arrived Fátima he made all of us feel like family. As each of us introduced ourselves he had a comment designed for each person.. At each stop on the tour Miguel (big Mike) would have a teaching moment of each place. It was like we were his students listening to every word. He shared stories of his family and asked about ours. My birthday was the next day. He surprised me with a nice gift. What a wonderful man. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Jose, our tour guide, did an incredible job bringing Lisbon to life. Despite the limited 3-hour tour, he skillfully covered Portugal’s intricate history through captivating and humorous stories that deepened my appreciation for the city. The stories about the devastating Lisbon earthquake and the remarkable city’s subsequent rebuilding were particularly poignant. Jose also provided valuable recommendations for off-the-beaten-path places to visit and shared some hidden shortcuts (escalators and elevators) to navigate the city’s hilly terrain. These tips were incredibly helpful, especially after the tour. While the tour cost around 1-2 euros on Viator, I highly recommend tipping Jose at least 30-40 euros at the end of the tour to show your appreciation for his expertise and dedication.

Filipa was an awesome, well-organized, knowledgeable and personable guide. She smartly got us to the Pena Palace before the rush and we were lucky to have a beautiful cloudless view from the castle. Quinta da Regaleira was also beautiful and worth the visit. It was a full day and provided the promised experience. If you are lucky enough to have a longer vacation you could easily spend a day exploring the grounds at each site.

Amazing tour. Easy to schedule and meet up with our guide. The tour took us all around Lisbon and provided us a chance to see all the different areas that we would not have been able to see by foot. Additionally, our guide was fantastic teaching us about the local sites, historical places and neighborhoods. He even went out of his way to meet us after our plane was delayed and we had to push the start time. Highly recommend this tour.

A lovely day off the beaten track

What a great day! Our guide, Joao, provided us with a very enjoyable visit to two wineries where we were able to sample several Portuguese wines. We visited a medieval castle and stopped at the lovely beachside fishing village of Sesimbra for lunch. It was well worth the trip!

Very nice tour.

The tour was a quick snapshot of some of the most important monuments and landmarks around Lisbon. Tomas was an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He juggled between Portuguese and English which would be very difficult. My kid loved his energy and enthusiasm. Get your cameras out for the transition into the water. Would have liked a bit more warning so we could get it in film.

Different but better

Our tour for this area was canceled but we were able to go on a Baixa and Chiada tour instead, and we are so glad we did. Tiago was amazing! He was so passionate and knowledgeable and we learned a ton. A bonus was he gave us recommendations of what to see and tourist traps to avoid. Highly recommend as a first day tour of Lisbon.

Interesting experience. The palace is fantastic. The view of the farest west point of Eurobean land is awsome. The tour guide explains every thing in English then in french because we had half of the team from Australia and half from the french Canada. Since I speak both english and French, I heared eveything twice. Interesting!
