We had gone into Lisbon from the ship the evening before. Bad idea and almost cancelled. At the end of day one we hated Lisbon. However, we were so glad we did not cancel. Our tour was fantastic and our driver was excellent. Car was very comfortable and he was very attentive and extremely informative. We would highly recommend this tour.

We booked this tour for our first full day in Lisbon. Cesar was excellent in showing us around, pointing out the attractions we might want to visit in our remaining days. He also discussed Portugal’s history and the culture of its people. We enjoyed our visit to the Maritime Museum, Belem Tower, and the Monument of Discoveries. We finished the four hour tour with pasteis de nata and ginginha in a chocolate cup at the Time Out market. Cesar also provided us his recommendations for fado clubs and restaurants so we will thoroughly round out our Lisbon experience.

The driver picked us up at the Lisbon Marriott at 0900. The car was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The driver was polite, well dressed, and very knowledgeable. His English was excellent. He drove us around to all the important spots and gave us time to experience each stop. We had visited The Castle the day before, so we skipped this to give us more time at the other stops. At the end we asked him to leave us in the city center, which he did. It was a very enjoyable tour.
