The tour is completely customizable. We decided to skip lunch at the beach as we do not eat long lunches during vacation, and our guide Marta planned it out perfectly for us. We managed to visit 3 palaces, Quinta da Regaleira, Moorish Castle and National Palace of Pena. We had tickets for the Pena Palace inside visit, but we decided to skip that and spend more time outside. Thank you very much for a great day, Marta!

Incredible guide and tour

I don’t normally write reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves one. Our guide, Rita, was incredible. She was so very knowledgeable about the history and she made the trip fun. She took the extra time with us to ensure that we saw everything we wanted. The sites that we were able to see in Lisbon were incredible. I feel like we had a crash course in the city’s culture and history, and I recommend this to everybody.

IDEAL vacation starter

This was an ideal way to begin our trip! We decided to join family/friends at the last minute to travel to Lisbon. We had not done any research about the area or even what to add to our list of “must-do’s”. This was the perfect way for us to be introduced to Lisbon, its history and what there is to do. Our guide was Teba and she was fantastic! We all agreed that she was the BEST! Her knowledge was fantastic and interesting. She pointed out and explained the history of an area, she added personal experiences, she pointed out the great shopping places, the areas where night life was popping and even gave us recommendations to some of her favorite restaurants and areas that are a little off the regular tourist areas. She was DELIGHTFUL!!

This was by far our group's favorite activity our whole trip. The boat was very relaxing and the staff were amazing! It did get a little chilly at the very end so I would recommend bringing a sweatshirt. If you want the best seats on the boat, I recommend arriving early and getting a spot at the beginning of the line. We felt finding the dock was very easy with the directions given to us. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to do it!

Great six+ hours tour of the city. All the highlights. Our guide was very knowledgeable and flexible. Dyane came prepared to give us an introduction to Lisbon but unbeknownst to her we had taken a tuk tuk tour the day before (included in our hotel stay). She was able to shift things around and we had a fabulous time. She was an excellent driver and her English was perfect. We wish Dyane a wonderful career as a Viator guide.

Great Day trip!

Enjoyable tour with Maria! Visited two wineries. The first was very traditional (and had a bit of a haunted wine cellar complete with monks chanting) and the second was very modern. We also saw a ton of sites that might have been hard to get to otherwise and enjoyed a lovely grilled fish lunch.

Interesting experience. The palace is fantastic. The view of the farest west point of Eurobean land is awsome. The tour guide explains every thing in English then in french because we had half of the team from Australia and half from the french Canada. Since I speak both english and French, I heared eveything twice. Interesting!

What to do on a wet day in lisbon

Well what fun we had on here. Pedro and The Captain were very entertaining and enthusiastic throughout the whole trip. It was a really great experience despite choosing a cold, wet day to do this. Definitely recommend this if you want a nice relaxed, spacious, seated view of the streets of Lisbon. Other tours have been packed in like a literal sardine and views, zero. The trip up the Tagus,to see the tower and monument at Belem was wonderful . So nice to see it towards land for a change.
