A wonderful sailing experience with Bruno and our captain Henry. We were given history and information on the sights we were seeing…so much better to view the city of Lisbon from the water. We enjoyed wine, cheese and crackers on this two hour cruise. Highly recommend!!

Itinerary

Check out Lisbon’s gorgeous sunset aboard a sailboat, sipping a glass of Portuguese wine on this small-group evening tour.

Easily meet your group and captain at the departure point, and then hop aboard your sailboat.

You don’t need to worry about navigating, sailing, or bringing the wine- your crew will do all of that.

Besides a gorgeous sail, your skipper points out the famous sites you’ll pass. Just some of these are Belem Tower, Ajuda National Palace, Jeronimicos Monastery, and April 25 Bridge. This is an intimate small-group tour, so you can ask as many questions as you like, plus have plenty of room to spread out on your sailboat.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience on the 2-Hour Lisbon Sunset and Wine Sailing Tour with Artílio and Bruno! From the moment we set sail, the crew was friendly, professional, and attentive. The sunset views over Lisbon were breathtaking, and sipping wine while cruising the Tagus River made it all so special and relaxing. Artílio and Bruno made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time, sharing interesting stories and tips about the city along the way. Brilliant experience, knowledgeable hosts and a fantastic boat trip

We had a wonderful time on the 2‑hour Sunset and Wine Sailing Tour and it ended up being a real highlight of our trip, even though the weather didn’t quite cooperate. Unfortunately it was cloudy on the evening, so we didn’t get an actual sunset but that honestly didn’t take away from the experience at all. The hosts were absolutely excellent, sharing so much interesting knowledge about Lisbon, the river, and the surrounding landmarks throughout the trip. Their passion and storytelling really brought the city to life from a different perspective. The boat itself was fantastic, very comfortable, and sailing along the river was incredibly relaxing. Seeing Lisbon from the water is something we’d highly recommend. And of course, the wine topped it all off, a lovely touch that made the whole experience feel indulgent and special. Even without the sunset, this was a brilliant experience thanks to the team, the atmosphere, and the overall quality of the tour. We’d happily do it again and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Very Enjoyable Sail

We traveled in a six seat motorized sailboat. We had a beautiful evening and equally beautiful sunset. We were served wine and soft drinks. Our driver was great and informed us about the sites along the way and the historical story behind them. Really enjoyed it.

Sunset at its best in Lisbon

This was a spectacular way to see Lisbon sites from the water on a beautiful sailboat with excellent hosts. Wine kept coming as the sun set and we all enjoyed views of the bridge, Jesus statue in lights and music on board. Bring a coat as it gets windy and chilly.

We spent such a fabulous evening being captained by José and looked after by Martha who kept the delicious green wine flowing in between her sailing duties. The views were spectacular, the José’s knowledge of Lisbon and beyond only added to the experience. The communication from admin in the lead up was brilliant and precise. It was the perfect last night of our trip!

Watch the weather and don't book early

If booked far in advance know that they don't cancel due to overcast skies and light rain. While the crew were very nice and gave us some info as we cruised, before the scheduled sunset it started to rain heavily. Based on weather report all afternoon, you would have thought they would cancel.

Dear Client, Due bad weather conditions we cancel all tours, specially if it compromises the safety of the tour, however that happens very rarely in Lisbon. If we don't have a shiny day but if it's good to do the tour, we do not cancel the tour but we always accept a rescheduling/cancelation/refund when requested by the client. Even so, the boat you took the tour on has a covered area both inside and out, which not only allows for a beautiful view of the city but also prevents clients from getting wet – ensuring an excellent tour for clients. An easy, delightful way to bring Lisbon’s best sights right to you

Lovely, smaller-boat experience that enables visitors to intimately chat and learn about each other while our host Jay Jay shared curious facts about the sights along this extensive tour. The two hosts also are very attentive, providing blankets and ensuring our wine glasses were never empty. They also provided each of us with our own small basket of nice cheeses, crackers, and charcuterie. Expect to drink as much wine as you’d like. – Vino Verde – and to learn a lot. This boat trip tours both sides of this very broad river, bringing you close to some of the beautiful sites that from the mainland are quite distant.

We had an absolutely amazing experience! While the weather wasn’t super ideal, they did upgrade us free of charge to the premium boat which is absolutely gorgeous. My now-fiancé and I had the best night celebrating our engagement! The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. I did not realize the history of so many things would be pointed out and explained, as well! That was a very pleasant surprise to learn more about the city. The green wine is just delicious and, as another review mentions, the drinks NEVER stop flowing. Compared to other tours where you receive 1-2 glasses of wine, our skipper literally told us “I hate seeing empty glasses!” And was always refilling. The little charcuterie board was also delicious and the perfect end to the cruise. We are so grateful for this cruise and it will always be well-remembered in our hearts!
