Wonderful day tour!

Highly recommend! Each stop had its own character - the spirituality of Fatima, the dramatic coastal views at Nazare, and the charm of Obidos’s medieval streets. Accommodating & incredible

This tour and company was fantastic all around. We had an issue getting back late from a different tour and Ruthy adjusted things for us to accommodate our late arrival. She made it very easy on us to arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy the experience. Our guide, Francisco, was incredible - knowledgeable, personable, and fun! The tastes of Portugal were phenomenal. Francisco provided great information and thoughtfully answered questions. We had a dairy-free person in our group and they accommodated her very well. She was very happy with the goats and sheep’s cheeses and really didn’t miss out on any tastings. We definitely left full and happy! There is so much food that I can’t imagine anyone leaving hungry. I would fully recommend this tour. Ruthy and Francisco are helpful and make the experience so worth while! 5 stars!

Worth Every Step: A Wonderful Portugal Experience

We had a wonderful full-day tour of Portugal, and our guide, Joao Gomes, made the experience even better. He was relaxed, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable from the start. Pickup was easy, yellow shirt can’t miss. The tour includes quite a bit of walking, including cobblestone streets, hills, and an uphill walk (or short hike for some) to castles. A few people in our group weren't fully prepared for the walking (flip flops or sandals with heals) but Joao did an excellent job supporting them while also keeping the rest of the group on schedule. He balanced everyone's needs with patience and professionalism. We had a nice amount of free time to explore on our own, for lunch, drinks and snacks, and the schedule offered enough flexibility without feeling rushed, but enough time for lunch and drink/coffee. It really is a full-day tour, but it was worth every minute, no regrets! A few tips for future travelers: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Stretch your legs before the tour, you'll appreciate it! Bring a water bottle, although there are plenty of opportunities to buy drinks along the way. Bring some cash, as a few smaller shops during free time are cash-only, though many places accept credit cards. If you have any walking or mobility limitations, contact the tour company before booking. Portugal is beautiful, but it can be hot, hilly, and full of stairs and cobblestone streets. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Joao, for making it such a memorable day! We had such a great experience with Kate! We appreciated her knowledge of Lisbon and its history. I've experienced tours in the past that are so history heavy in the narrative that I zone out. Kate struck the perfect balance of history and fun! Lots of walking up and down stairs but the pace was exactly right for our group!
