Sintra and Penna Palace was an amazing location experience.The History of the place and the beauty of it. Our Guide Julio was exceptional informative kind, respectful, attentive, took pictures 25 pictures of us coming up the stairs walking and air dropped them to us, he has a eye for picture taking. Offered breakfast and lunch locations with the locals the food was delicious a beautiful day. I would recommend it highly and above all Julio. It is an adventure in time, of beauty, history. It a must see.

Here is the organized version of your review, keeping your original tone and wording: It was good to book this trip as we had jetlag and couldn't get up by noon. We started our trip at 1pm with Miguel. Miguel was a very patient and gentle guy. He explained many things, organized the timing and route very well, and is good at communication. My kids were sick and he arranged for them to rest at the guard. However, when the kids asked to see what I visited with Miguel, Miguel patiently explained the sites to them again—I was very moved by his patience. In the evening, he took us to Azenhas do Mar, and the kids were thrilled by the strong waves there (a wonderful place to go in Sintra!). Miguel told us to stay as much as we wanted even though it's been passing 8 hours. I compensated the hours passed, but by my own willingness. I really appreciated that he just wished us to enjoy our precious encounter with the amazing ocean. His patience and thoughtfulness left us a wonderful memory in Sintra.

Sintra is a must do activity

You can hit all the main attractions in a half day tour of sintra. The tour guide was great and gave us lots of tips and expert background on each location. Make sure to buy tickets to the castles ahead of time to save time and get the best time slots as they sell out fast. Even if you don’t get tickets to enter the castles, they are enjoyable enough from the outside and you still get to see amazing views. Also gave us the inside scoop on the best places to eat while in Portugal. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

Excellent experience! We loved this tour. It was highly customizable and we were able to go and do only what we wanted to in the moment. Our guide, Ginar, was very knowledgeable about the history, vegetation, and current affairs of the region. He gave us excellent recommendations and steered us clear of the “traps” where there were lengthy waits for little reward. We had a truly wonderful day. I cannot recommend this tour more!

Jeep tour in Sintra Portugal.

November 27, 2025 my husband and I took this jeep tour. Alex was our jeep driver and tour guide. He was fabulous! This tour was my favorite of our stay in Portugal! Alex is very knowledgeable of the history of Portugal - He was a wonderful guide! I highly recommend this tour ask for Alex!
