A great day with a great guide.

From the moment we met our guide Sarah, her smile set the tone for the day. Sarah was very professional, knowledgeable and a fun person to spend 6 hours with. She was our photographer and had patience when we wanted to stop. On our way home from Sintra to Lisbon Sarah went out of her way to find a olive oil dispenser that we had been looking for but could not locate. She is known as the purple guide. Once you meet her you will understand. This tour was amazing because Sarah made it amazing.

Rodrigo was a great guide and this tour was fantastic from beginning to end. We arrived at Peña Palace early in the day to avoid the crowds, and I loved that our group size was only 4, it made for a more personal experience. Although there was a lot of walking and hills, they were enough breaks built in to make it manageable for anyone with a moderate level of fitness. I’d highly recommend this tour, I’d rate it higher than 5* if I could 😊

Sintra and Regaleria tour from Lisbon

We were picked up at our Hotel in a very nice and clean van. Our tour guide Pedro introduced himself and we immediately knew it was going to be a good day! He is a very good driver and we felt at ease the whole time. Pedro is also a wealth of knowledge about the area. We visited Sintra, which is where he is from. We had time to explore the area on our own and then he met up with us to walk to the Regaleria while he taught us about the property and about Sintra. We bought tickets to the Regaleria online before the trip. I had a hard time downloading them so a screenshot was sufficient for entrance. I would recommend printing the tickets as well before the trip. The Regaleria is amazing. There is so much to take in and we felt we had plenty of time to learn and explore. After the Regaleria we had a nice lunch in Cascais then explored Cascais a bit before heading back to our hotel in Lisbon. The whole tour was 9 hours. Driving to Sintra took about 40 minutes one way. On the way back there was a little more traffic in Lisbon which is to be expected. It was a great day and well worth the price of the tour! It was a stress free and enjoyable day and we would highly recommend our tour guide Pedro! He speaks English fluently and I heard him speak Spanish as well. He might even speak other languages!

Family friendly Sintra Tour

Our time with Miguel was excellent. Great communication leading up to the day including when we should make our bookings for the 2 castles we wanted to see. Was very flexible with pick up at the airport. Provided a car seat for our 1.5 yo. During the trip it was very smooth, minimizing how much we walked around or needed to search for things. Told us where the stroller would work and where it wouldnt. We also had a carrier which helped in sections the stroller would not. The tour especially if you have kids makes things stress free and easy. Miguel was very knowledgeable and it was a joy to learn so much from him. Highly recommend!

Perfect Sintra Tour

A truly perfect tour!!! The half day was ideal for us, we were happily exhausted and fulfilled by the end of our time with Robinson - who was amazing!!! He had such fun and passionate energy and knew so much about everything we saw. Visiting without him would have been SIGNIFICANTLY less informative. He kept everything really accessible but left us all with a deep impression of thoughtfulness. Loved that he knew things to point out about the botanical aspects as well. An afternoon in Sintra

A Full Sintra Day

Hugo was an incredible guide and took great care of my wife and I as he escorted us around Sintra. He knew all the tricks and ways to get us to the front of every line and really squeeze as much as we could out of the experience. He's very knowledgable and was able to answer all of our questions along the way. He picked us right up at our agreed location and dropped us right back where we started with no fuss and made the whole thing seamless. He even snapped photos of us along the way.
