Mercedes is an excellent tour guide (English). She is very knowledgeable about Alhambra, Nasrid Palace and Granada. Remember to bring your passport or drivers license as ID or they won’t let you in. I wish there had been a reminder sent since I booked this trip months ago. The woman at the meet up site stated that you need an ID to get in everywhere in Spain. I’ve been here for 3 weeks and it’s the first time that I was asked for ID.

Excellant small tour group

Had a fantastic tour with Consuelo on our small group tour of Alhambra, gardens and palaces! Only 6 of us on the tour which was perfect as Consuelo was able to give us all her undivided attention. She was extremely patient with my husband and I as we forgot our passports ( don’t do it as it’s not worth the stress!!) and after a quick phone call to our travel agent in NZ a copy was sent to us to allow us entry. Remember no passport no entry and you really don’t want to miss out! It is such a beautiful and very special place and although busy with visitors was also very tranquil! Definately worth paying for the extra service a small tour provides as I think we all got something special out of this tour. Thank you City Wonders and Consuelo❤️

If travelers are lucky...

If travelers are lucky enough to get Katia as their food Sherpa, they’re in for a real treat. Her wealth of knowledge of Spanish history, traditional foods and unique wines is incredible. All three spots we stopped at allowed us to try dishes we hadn’t enjoyed yet during our stay in Granada. We left with full bellies and big smiles. Our tour guide, Rosa, was simple fantastic. She was communicative - pre meeting us for the tour, about meeting spot and timeliness. She followed up. We felt taken care of. During the tour of the Alhambra, she was knowledgeable, patient with our questions and super informative. Took AMAZING pictures of us, was patient with my mother who walks slower due to mild mobility issues. Absolutely Wonderful!

We had the pleasure of having Abubakr as our tour guide and it was nothing short of amazing. I know that 3 hours might sound intimidating and like something you might check out of halfway through, but Abubakr was so fun and really told a story as you walked through the Alhambra. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a fun and fascinating tour. We learned so much that we could’ve never discovered in our own. For reference it was my husband and I and our two daughters. What a blast.

A Fantastic Experience!

What an incredible experience. The music was wonderful and the dancers were amazing. Opt for the dinner package, the food was delicious and drinks were good. Good service by staff also. The cave location really helped set the mood. The place is very tricky to find as Apple Maps left us in a hilly area about a block away from the hillside site. Fortunately an employee walked by and directed us.

This was a fabulous experience made amazing by our excellent guide Borja. His depth of knowledge about the Alhambra was outstanding. We learned about the fascinating water system, the significance of religious beliefs that influenced the architecture and symbolism in the buildings. His knowledge of the history of the people who had inhabited it was vast. We learned a great deal about the garden design and also the plants within. The whole guided tour was delivered with humour and was a fun experience. We came away feeling that we had learned a huge amount and had really enjoyed ourselves in the process.

This was an excellent private tour and our tour guide Amine was very knowledgeable and spent just the right amount sharing historical details while also allowing us to explore areas of interest and ask questions at our own pace. He was friendly and professional. We are also so grateful to have been able to get tickets last minute with a tour company that provided exactly the tour advertised, including the Nasrid Palace. I highly recommend this company! Beware of other companies (not this one) that have you book tours and change the itinerary last minute because they are unable to secure tickets to the Nasrid Palace and other ticketed areas of the Alhambra. There are areas you can access for free. Highly recommend this tour agency.

Dress for the weather, make sure you are ready for cold or rain if need be as we had both. Also, we walked from the train station, it is long with lots of uphill so I would take a taxi if going again. Our guide,Richard, was excellent. Very interesting, personable and knowledgeable. We have had guides around the world and he is one of the best. Highly recommended!
