Very informative with lots of historical facts shared. The guide was also considerate of my needs as I needed to go slower than the general pace.
Fabio was a fantastic driver and tour guide. The actual sites were outstanding, Sintra, Cascais and Cabo de Roca. He was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He provided ample time for pictures, shopping and sightseeing. With the help of Swingo (the local tour operator) we were lucky enough to have Fabio a second day to tour Lisbon as our private driver/tour guide. Since I had done lots of research prior to the trip, Fabio and I were able to set a great itinerary for both days. We highly recommend him and Swingo.
We had the tour with Ana, and she was amazing! We loved that she was so knowledgeable and explained the history briefly. When you ask follow up questions, she will get into more details about what you are seeing. She was friendly and a delight to spend the day with. I couldn’t envision a better tour guide.

Honestly I wouldnt do anything different in my stay in Lisbon, Alessio was an amazing tour guide (private tour guide) and literally showed us EVERY spot in Lisbon, Belem and Sintra… also took us to very local spots for the best sunset ever in Lisbon, for best pastries and Portuguese food. Also note that Alessio was very knowledgeable about the city, culture and history… a funny guy indeed.
I highly recommend this tour as is the best “all-in” experience.

Filipe was awesome! He brings a lot of energy and knows his stuff cold. Very engaging and is very interesting with all his knowledge. He was born and raised in Lisbon but has worked and traveled the world. The tour is amazing and Filipe extended our tour by a couple of hours which enabled us to see more beautiful areas. We stopped for a terrific lunch at 3 Gomes. We asked Filipe to join us and grateful he did. We got a chance to get to know Filipe and enjoyed our conversation. The van was very comfortable. He certainly knows his way around Sintra and Penta as well as the Atlantic coast. We got a lot of pictures. Also, Filipe took 50 plus pictures and forwarded them to us. I can’t say enough and he made the day most remarkable and easy. A must do tour with him when visiting Lisbon. You will not regret it!!

This was our first day in Portugal and this tour was a great way to start our trip. Our tour guide Filipe was top notch! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. His planning and attention to detail was impeccable. We went to Boca do inferno - “Devil’s Mouth” …..scenic cliff area, Cascais, Cabo da Roca ….iconic westernmost point on mainland Europe…..the Peña Palace and even made a stop to Sintra itself. We covered a lot in the half day without feeling rushed.

Nice trip. Half day can include tickets to one site only. The other site you see along with way with a few stops. Our guide made it very easy to navigate, gave some good history and great recommendation for lunch. Communication was lagging which made me nervous, but it all turned out fine.

Our guide Nuno Gomes was amazing, took us to all the spots promised, had some free time to do some shopping and get a bite to eat, had many great photo ops- Nuno was awesome, very accommodating- spoke very good english, also 3 other languages. He was born and raised and still lives in Lisbon. He is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and just the perfect guide, if and when we ever come back to Lisbon my wife Sandra and I will absolutely request him as our guide for any excursions. We highly recommend him!

Our personal guide Ana was so nice, easy to communicate with, and drove us everywhere. We really enjoyed having her as our guide. She was thoughtful and helped my mom, because mom has difficulty walking. This tour requires a lot of walking, up and down lots of cobblestone streets, narrow roads and sidewalks, but mom luckily was able to stay in car and I didn't feel unsafe leaving her. Ana took us to many beautiful historical sites and by the beach. April is a beautiful time of year for visiting Spain and Portugal, no rain or humidity, not hot. Ana picked us up from cruise terminal and dropped us off at hotel, it was so convenient and we were so lucky to have her.
Now dealing with Viator was not so easy. With difference between time zones and understanding each other there was some confusion. Viator is not "the company ", they outsource to independent companies. Ana works with Swingo company. While either Viator or Swingo was texting/emailing me, Ana had no idea. I received a message to get tickets for Regalia, I had no clue how to get them. Remember Portugal speaks Portuguese not Spanish and not easy to understand. They sent me link to get additional tickets, as this was not included in fee, no ability to read in English, but paid for 1 adult and 2 seniors 2 weeks before our tour. The day Ana picks us up, she had no idea we were supposed to go by there. Luckily I told her, so we drive there. The village was beautiful. Again the roads are narrow, goes up and down and around, so my mom couldn't go. My mom was able to stay at a café in the village, while we trekked to Regalia. We get there and tickets were for wrong day. Europeans write day before month then year not month then day; i couldn't get money back because I booked online through 3rd party. That was $100 euros wasted as the tour was for the next day, when we were heading back home. While we did see outside of castle, it was waste of time and a lot of money because we weren't even supposed to be there according to itinerary, so why did they tell me to buy them?
My friends' tour through the cruise was canceled 2 days before the end of the cruise, but she was able to take the tour with us and Ana's vehicle was able to fit all of us and luggage comfortably which was a huge relief. The communication between Viator and 3rd party was difficult and obviously a lot of money wasted, not being able to go through Regalia. the tour and guide were amazing, but I will not use Viator again. I definitely recommend private tour because you can adjust time or places you want to see. Being picked up at cruise terminal and dropped off at hotel was so convenient and no additional expense leaving luggage somewhere then having to pick it up again. Being in the back of the van, it was difficult to hear Ana when she was talking, would recommend a microphone, but she is also soft spoken. Thank you Ana for an amazing day!

This tour was the best experience I could ask for from a tour. Everything was perfectly timed and we were given plenty of opportunities to explore the areas we wished to explore. Our tour guide, Paulo did a magnificent job at sharing his wealth of knowledge. We learned so much history about Portugal and specifically Sintra. I would easily book Paulo for another tour and would recommend anyone I know to do so as well. It was such a great experience and made me fall in love with Portugal even more which I did not know was possible!

This was a great tour! A private shuttle with tour guide and Skip the Line tickets to Pena Palace are the only way to go! It was crowded and the lines were long but Diogo made it all easy, especially with a toddler (and stroller) in tow.
