A must-do activity in the Algarve

We had a great time kayaking with BrotherRootz. Pouco was a terrific guide and we kayaked to several caves. There were folks in our group who had never been in a kayak before and Pouco made sure they kept up with the group. He took tons of pictures and sent them to us. It wasn't tremendously strenuous, but it still took a fair amount of energy to kayak against the wind, the waves and the wakes of passing boats. And, as with most of the beaches in the Algarve, there are several flights of steps to get to the beach from the cliffs above. BrotherRootz was very organized and the trip was very well planned. If you want to see the Benagil Cave up close and personal, I would definitely recommend this tour!

Chat GPT recommended to do this tour first thing in the morning and I'm glad we did because the weather was perfect and the Sun hit the caves at just the right angle to where they glow. This was such a cool experience there's no way that you could visit the south of Portugal and not do a boat ride. We did the Bengil cave...

We did the Bengil cave tour in a rib boat! It was a windy and Lots of waves kind of day which was a lot fun! We did not see any dolphins but did get to see inside the cave which was high on my priority list!! Amazing! The guides were great! I would highly recommend this tour!! 🌊😊

Great experience

Early morning was great for less wind. Lots of activity with boats and other kayak tours but to be expected. Beautiful landscape. Caves were awesome. Our tour was great because they broke up our group into two so only six boats with each guide. Loved the explanations along the way. Bruno and Lues, the guides, and the other two boat crew members were friendly, funny, and helpful. You may want to bring a water bag with a lanyard because they do not supply them, but you can purchase one from them for €10 if needed.

Exceptional Experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed this cruise! Large enough boat that we felt safe, and I could not believe how the captain maneuvered into the caves! It was too cold for swimming so we went for an added bonus of finding dolphins. Everyone really enjoyed the day. Take a jacket, it gets cool out there.

Must do experience in Lagos!

What a blast! The crew was fantastic, funny and the lunch was superb! We were able to get up close to the caves then head for the opposite side of the bay for a calm lunch. Amazing experience! Better than expected.

Amazing! Very well organised and the track was even better than I expected, various terain and speed. The whole team were friendly from arrival to the end. We signed a waiver so knew what the costs were of you caused any damage, but this is pretty standard. We were given water and a thorough explanation of how the trip would go. A thorough 'talk' was given which made us feel it might be a bit of a slow, boring experience but it definitely wasn't. You do have to stay in order behind the guide but you get to go at speed along rocky terrain, dirt tracks and roads. Best experience of our holiday and highly recommend 👌 We'll definitely being going the 3 hour excursion next time we're un Albufeira.

Lovely boat trip

This was a very fun boat trip! The staff and crew were terrific. The scenery was fantastic and the lunch on the beach was delicious. The drinks were also flowing. We had a ton of fun. The only thing that was a bit of a negative was there were a lot of people so it took a long time to shuttle everyone to and from the boat to shore and back again. Plus there were no tables set up on the beach so we had to eat our lovely meal on our laps while sitting on the sand. It was slightly awkward. Otherwise it was wonderful!
