I took the hop-on hop-off bus, but it took over 40 minutes for the bus to return to my pickup location. Unable to wait any longer, I took a taxi back to the starting point. In the end, I only used the service two of the three days I paid for.

We got a 3 day yellow on off bus ticket for Lisbon portugal. We used it for 2 days, did 2 different tours and the trolley ride. Wanted to dk the boat but missed the day they were going(check what days the boat runs for your trip).
Had a great time, saw much more than would have been possible otherwise. Highly recommend.

This confirmed my past experiences with Hop On Hop Off- it’s a great concept, but in practice it doesn’t deliver. Too much time wasted is waiting for the next ride. If you stay on the loop without getting off you can get an overview of the city- but if you get off be prepared to wait- depending on traffic, amount of passengers etc. I think it’s far better to take public transportation, train, buses or uber/taxis. I paid over $50 for one stop on the HOHO and ended up taking a taxi back. Lesson learned. Never again.

Check for boat times only 3 times a day . Otherwise very good. Buses were clean . Expect a half hour wait if you get on elsewhere and get back to stop 1 before you proceed.

This is an excellent idea, a great way to see so many different sites. You can get off at any site that interests you spend whatever time you want then hop back on and go to another site. Definitely worth the money.
The tour we did included two bus tours, a tram tour and a boat tour. As well, it would’ve given access to the funicular’s, but they were closed due to the tragedy that recently happened there.

I wouldn’t purchase again. Uber and Bolt are inexpensive ways to get around Lisbon. Waiting on the yellow bus is unnecessary. We waited at one stop for 45 minutes. We first waited almost 15 minutes, watching it on the map in their app, but the bus went right by us, didn’t even stop at the bus stop (stop 4 on the blue Belem route). So we had to wait another 30 minutes and I literally stood in the road waving down the next bus.

My husband and I find hop on hop off tours very helpful and have done a number of them. This was our worse experience and wouldn’t suggest it to anyone. The bus driver would give very little time for the passengers to get on or off. The passengers wouldn’t be seated or up the stairs and it would take off. Wanting to get out was a joke if you were on the top level because you couldn’t get down the stairs fast enough. Our driver was talking loudly on the phone the entire time we were on the bus.

The ticket includes a tram trip and a river cruise as well as the hop on hop off bus routes and was very good value for money for a 72hr ticket. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. Good way to see Lisbon.

The boat ride can be done more than once within the hours of your pass. You can go to the Monastary, Belem Tower, and then to City
Centre. There are many good seafood restaurants along the river, as well.

We booked this trip with coworkers and friends. There was a blackout on Monday April 28 and we only rode one stop before the yellow bus company said all buses were halted. Unfortunately we could not use the trip the next day as we left the location. I tried to ask for reimbursement and the company Yellow Bus tours denied my request and my travel agent. I would not recommend this company and I should have booked with City Sightseeing tours instead. Caveat emptar buyer beware!

Bought the 96 hr pass. The inclusion of the Red Trrolley negated need to stand for an hour line for the famed #28 as it basically follows the same route. Also access to the boat trip & other trolleys saved time & expense. Redtrolley driver personable & fun. Worth the cost.

The Yellow Bus hop off and on is a great way to see all around. Be careful to ask what line it is on. Reference blue is local and purple is for modern Lisbon. I would use this this service in any new place I was visiting.

In general is a good tour, we did the bus modern lisbon, the tram hill tour and the boat tour.
But when we wanted to do the Belem bus circuit, rhere was a sign in the starting point that it was suspended due to national day!
No one warned us in advance in any of rhe other a activities of the tour that it will be suspended the next day, otherwise we would have done it before......Disapointing to pay for the all in one and missed the most important bus circuit.

Overall it was a good value for the money. We enjoyed the boat ride on a sunny afternoon in Lisbon and saw the beautiful monuments from the water. Then we took both bus routes- modern and Belém. Unfortunately in the Belém route the driver never stopped at stops 8 and 9. Then we had to get off at 10 ( the monastery) and backtrack in the rain with our granddaughter in her stroller. We asked the driver but he said he stopped but he did not. We pressed the button multiple times! It also would help if the commentary did give stop numbers too.

This was a good hop on hop off Service. Although the stops are indicated, the signs are very small, and not always easy to find. The tram was great, but took almost 2 hours instead of one due to traffic. Finding the boat area was difficult Without help. The boat ride was great, the buses were prompt and the speakers worked well. Our train driver was exceptionally patient and kind.

They were very friendly and it was easy to get to the place from our hotel which was Lisboa ibis styles airport hotel when we took an Uber l, the issue was that they didn't tell us online about the river cruise which was only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (I think) not all the days which we would've wanted to have known beforehand and we didn't take a chance to do the cruise given that we stay only 2 days in lisboa so just keep that in mind

I have taken quite a few tours, mostly booked through Viator, and this one was one of my favorites. Ricardo (Ricky) did an outstanding job of explaining and making everyone feel comfortable. The highlight of the YB in Lisbon was the 1.5 hour boat tour.
I wish the website had interactive bus stops on the map with gps options. It very hard to find the nearest stops. We ended up getting a taxi after hopping off to explore the areas.

This is really an average of all the experiences. The boat and tram were OK but the hop-on hop-off buses were awful.
Stops were hard to find. Even the ticket seller kiosks couldn’t say where to find the stops. The first one wouldn’t even give me a map because I booked with Viator instead of direct with them. The funicular was broken, but there wasn’t even a sign to say where it loaded or anyone to come down and tell the waiting people that it wouldn’t be coming. The Belem bus returning wouldn’t stop at number 16 stop so I could get to my hotel, and I had to go to the end of the line and take uber back to my hotel. The commentary was repetitive and pretty useless. I could go on, but I’m sure you get the picture. I will be requesting a full or at least partial refund on my return in a few weeks.
