Marcos was a fantastic tour guide! He gave us a great tour of all of the main places to see in Lisbon - it was a great way to spend our first day in Lisbon. If your accommodation is outside this area, the designated meeting point is Avenida da Liberdade 3 Lisboa (next to the Gloria yellow tram), right across the street from Hard Rock Café Lisbon. Not sure if your address is within our operational area? Just check with us—we’re happy to confirm it for you. If no pick-up location is provided in advance, the standard meeting point will be Avenida da Liberdade 3 (across from Hard Rock Café Lisbon). If our clients' don't inform us about the pick up point the standard pick up point is Avenida Liberdade 3.

Itinerary

After pickup from your hotel, hop aboard your private tuk-tuk and set out through the hilly streets of Lisbon. Make a photo stop at Lisbon Cathedral, before zipping up to the Miradouro das Portas do Sol for a view over the colorful Alfama district. Another popular photo spot is the Miradouro da Senhora do Monte viewpoint, where you’ll pause on the way through the Graca and Sao Vicente neighborhoods.

Pass by Lisbon landmarks, including the Panteao Nacional, Padrao dos Descobrimentos, and the Torre de Belem; take a peek inside the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos church; and stop to taste delicious “Pastéis de Belém” (custard tarts) or “Ginja” liquor (both at own expense).

Continue through the historic Bairro Alto and Chiado neighborhoods, as your guide points out attractions like the Time Out Market and Basilica da Estrela. After a full morning or afternoon exploring, your tour ends back at your hotel.

Therefore, if you arrive for the tour with a child under the age of 7, we will unfortunately not be able to proceed with the service, and no exceptions can be made.
  • This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
  • Price is per person. Adult pricing applies to all travelers.
  • The pick up and drop off is included in a selected area of the city (city center). If you are staying outside of the city center, our guide will meet you at Avenida Liberdade 3. Kindly confirm with us prior to your tour the pick up preferences.
  • We have several models of tuktuks shown in the product pictures. Let us know if you have any preference for one
  • The suggested itinerary is subject to change in case of any special event in the city such as marathons, public events that make the streets unreachable.
  • The first picture is just an example of one of the three Tuk Tuk models in our fleet; it may not be the one you'll have on your tour, unless you inquire about a specific model in advance, subject to availability.
  • The tuk tuk fits up to 6 people - however for the highest level of comfort we recommend 4 people per tuktuk.
  • The TukTuks are equipped with transparent rooftops, allowing you to fully enjoy the scenic views throughout the ride.
  • For groups of 5 or 6 people, we offer two TukTuk models with different seating arrangements: either all seats facing forward or seats facing each other. If you have a preference, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly, subject to availability.
  • By law, we cannot take more than 6 passengers per TukTuk. For larger groups, you’ll need to book multiple TukTuks separately, ensuring they start at the same time on the same day.
  • Free rescheduling, refunds, or cancellations are available up to 24 hours before the activity. After this period, full charges will apply.
  • No large items are allowed in the Tuk Tuk (such as suitcases, strollers, wheelchairs, or electric scooters)
  • If the client is delayed, the tour duration will be shortened accordingly, which may cause adjustments to the planned route. Delays exceeding 30 minutes will result in cancellation of the activity, with no refund issued.
  • Our TukTuks have transparent rain covers, and we provide umbrellas if rain is forecast.
  • Children under 7 years old are not legally allowed on tuktuks in Portugal
  • People with limited range of motion in their knees might find it hard to get in and out of the tuk tuk
  • This tour isn't recommend for people with back problems. The streets in Lisbon are very bumpy and it will be uncomfortable on your back.
  • The streets are quite bumpy, so we do not recommend this for people prone to motion sickness or those with knee, back, or neck issues.

Tuk Tuk is a great way to see the city. We were lucky to have a new Tuk Tuk with four bucket seats. I don’t know if it’s common, but there was a speaker so we could hear Sávio even while he was driving. The temperature was in the low 50s and Sávio had blankets for us. You could tell he was excited and passionate about his city and country. We made several stops where he could give us more information and allow for pictures. One of the stops was at the famous pastry shop where he took us behind the scenes and got us shortcuts to order the delicious pastry that Lisbon is famous for.

Amazing Lisbon Tuk-Tuk

Lisbon has old medieval narrow roads and hills so it can be a bit bumpy, but every stop is well worth it. We got a great feel for the major sites, neighborhoods, and monuments.

This tour is a perfect introduction to the neighborhoods of Lisboa and Bellem. Our tuktuk driver/guide, Pinto knows the city and eagerly shares that information. Best Tour Ever!

We absolutely loved our tour experience! Miguel was incredible- not only super fun, friendly and energetic but also he is a never ending well of history and knowledge about Portugal and Lisbon! A life long resident, he truly loves the city and the people and the city loves him right back. He made sure we as always comfortable, never rushed us and gave us options so that we could get exactly what we wanted from the tour and nothing we didn't. We felt like locals after a while, having little moments of engagement of happy interactions with other locals and your guides we passed. He was exactly on time, amazing communication before, during and even after ( as we left our sweatshirts by mistake and he drove all the way back to our hotel to return them when he noticed) Miguel tooook amazing family photos of us, intoduced us to local foods and and because of him specifically I feel we got a truly authentic experience that our family will cherish forever. I highly recommend asking for Miguel when booking, but the company as a whole treated us very well so I'm guessing you can't go wrong either way. Enjoy!

Gaby showed us a side of Lisbon we never would have seen without him. He got to know us a little at the beginning, took us to some obligatory places, but engaged with us enough to get an idea of what we wanted to see and what we found interesting. Best tour guide ever.

Marco is a fantastic guide offering information about the history of Lisbon’s various neighborhoods. Tuk tuk tours are a must do when visiting here. There is no way we would have enjoyed our day any other way! He provided insight on each stop, offering us plenty if time to explore or just move on to the next point of interest. We never felt rushed or that the tour was too long. Marco provided an awesome experience we will never forget!

This was by far one of the best experiences my family had while we spent a week in Portugal! Joaquim was incredibly respectful, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and great with our 4 kids (ages 7-15). Every time we saw a Tuk-Tuk from the same company during the rest of our stay, our kids were running to see if it was "J." We felt safe during the entire 4 hour tour (which can be challenging with some of the traffic in downtown Lisbon). He kept everyone engaged and allowed us adequate time to explore some of the stops on the tour. We covered so many amazing areas (some already on our personal list of "must-sees" and many that we probably wouldn't have known about if we hadn't booked our tour). Our evening ended with a great dinner recommendation at a small, local restaurant that would have never been on our radar. I would HIGHLY recommend!
