Our tour guide was great but we were not able to see any of the sites due to the weather. I’d definitely recommend verifying site access before paying the price for it.

Anna was a fabulous tour guide! 10 out of 10! She treated us like good friends and gave us a wonderful tour of Sintra, Caba da Roca and Cascais. The sun even came out for us at Caba da Roca! She enhanced the tour with lots of historical information about the area. We had plenty of time to do a little exploring at all of the locations. We only had an afternoon to dedicate to this tour, but would definitely love doing a day trip if I ever visit Lisbon again.

It’s primarily travelling by car back and forth with hardly anytime to stop and look at the towns . It could have been longer and more enriching . Too short and too expensive! Out driver Ana was lovely but honestly it was just a back and forth with very little in between .

Our guide, Fernando, was very personable and informative. Per the itinerary, there was to be a stop, even brief, at most of the sites. On our tour, with the exception of Sintra and Cascais, all were passbys. Although a 10 minute stop at Peña Palace was in the itinerary, we did not go there. We were told it “was not worth it” because, without paying to enter the gardens area, one could see very little of the palace from outside the grounds. We were not given the opportunity to work this into our trip. It was just dropped arbitrarily. Disappointing.

A must-do while visiting Lisbon. Sintra is such a beautiful town packed with art, history, and picturesque castles and buildings. This tour also takes you to the most western part of Europe, which has an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. The final stop is Cascais. An awesome beach town and a true gem. Our host, Pedro was the best. He was friendly and knowledgeable and took plenty of pictures for us. We decided to stay in Cascais for lunch and walk around the town. The train system is close by and took us back to Lisbon in about 35 minutes.

Not a tour, just a driver (who didn't communicate with us at all). He said he could offer descriptions of the sites, but when we asked, "what is that building?" he said, "It's a fort" and then was silent. We asked the tour company to customize the itinerary since it was a private tour, and they agreed. But then the driver insisted that we needed to see the things on the planned itinerary, which we didn't want and didn't enjoy. We asked to end the tour an hour early.

When guests don`t want to do anything, it is not easy.
Tour guide did is best trying to figure out what to deliver dispite completely out of the program, took to visit inside the Palace of Monserrate (wich was not included), offered to guide inside wich was declined.
perhaps a litle bit more cooperation, comunication and simpathy could had more effect.
We are positive that next time will be much better

Great overall experience, even when you have an overnight layover in Lisbon. Only thing I wish was that the tour would of been for 5 hours, even if a bit pricier, just so there'll be more time to spend on the 3 key destinations.

We covered a lot of territory and saw so much. My only disappointment was there was no time for stops except at Cabo de Roca. I had thought we would stop at the castle but it was my mistake. We only got to see it at a great distance.

We enjoyed the whole trip. Even after accidentally putting the wrong address for our pick up, Luis was able to find us! We started in the Cascais area which was lovely, and stopped at Cabo de Roca (the most western edge of the European continent) and finished the trip with a 45 minute excursion into Sintra town. Beautiful scenery! And Luis was incredibly knowledgeable of both the area and attractions, but also the extensive history, including pre-Roman times which was incredible given we love history. Luis even dropped us off in another part of town so we could explore a new area. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an easy private tour and looking to fit a ton of sites into a small period of time

My wife and I did a private half day tour. Had a great time and felt like we saw a lot while still leaving time to return back to Lisbon and enjoy the rest of the day. Our guide, Ana, was wonderful and allowed us to move at our own pace while keeping us on track and on time.

Enjoyed the town of Sintra and its picturesque streets. The drive through the Sintra area, to Cabo da Roca and along the coast were beautiful and gave us a great feel for this part of Portugal. Louis was very knowledgeable and a pleasant, safe driver.

We opted for a private tour as we wanted flexibility and didnt want to be rushed like all the bus tours.
Our driver was knowledgeable, friendly and a safe driver, but failed to inform us when we were enjoying our visit at Sintra that we needed to leave by a specific time. As a result, after we got back to his car, he abruptly told us that "it is now too late to visit Pena Palace", which was one of the main highlights of the tour!
I think that failing to let us know, and just informing us that we will not be able to see one of the main highlights is not acceptable.
Seeing that we are unlikely ever to come this way again, there are no words that can express how disappointed we feel. We think the driver should have at least pre-warned us if there was a cut-off time, or just work a little longer on that day.
People who do not understand this should not offer their services for a private tour.
I would not recommend this private tour as we felt the driver was more interested in reaching home on time than understanding our goals.
A part refund would be appreciated, but it will never make up for the loss of us seeing Pena Palace.

What`s not acceptable is this Review.
Shoud try to understand the product that was bought, an half day Tour to Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais, designed to show the village, the region, including Cabo da Roca and also Cascais, extensive but with time for everything if participants respect the tour and time given on each atraction.
Designed for 4 hours but usually takes around 4h30 because we never rush on our tours.
Anywhere on the description of this product is mentioned the visit to Palacio da Pena.
We have tours with Pena Palace included, we suply the tickets and prepare the visits because the visit to this atraction have to be planned in advance, the atraction has scheduled hours and people cannot just arrive there, buy a ticket and get in.
