Muir Woods/Sauselito tour.
This was a great tour! Our guide was Sully & he was very knowledgeable & very friendly. 3 different stops he took time to take pictures of the families. There were water bottles provided & a variety of snacks. When we were at Muir Woods, he explained where we could walk, the length of the trails & things to look for. The ONLY complaint was that it was quite warm on the bus ( the air conditioning was on). But we really enjoyed this tour. Would definitely recommend it.

Worth it
Pick up was prompt, a nice van picked us up at Pier 33 driven by Ben who was a great guide. The first stop was a nice park on the opposite side of the Golden Gate Bridge from SF where the view of the bay and the city was pretty spectacular. Then we went on to Muir Woods National Monument where we had about 70 minutes to explore. There's a loop you can do that's a few miles that even someone of below average health could accomplish (the normal trail to Bridge 4 then the hillside trail which brings you back close to where you started). Finally we explored Sausalito and had time to grab a late lunch. Both Ben's driving and narration were great. This was well worth the price. We avoided the hassle of having to rent a car and park it everywhere we wanted to go (which is a pain, Muir Woods requires a parking reservation, for instance), and as a bonus we got a local's perspective of San Francisco and some history lessons.

Wine Day Away
Started with a hotel pick up which was nice. The trip was timed perfectly with a stop at treasure island for some pictures then off to wine country with two different types of wineries which was nice and a stop for lunch in Sonoma. Capped the day with a fun stop super close to the GG bridge where the view was amazing.

Scott was great and very...
Scott was great and very patient. Maybe too patient. The tour had chronically late passengers, which shortened the visit to Pebble Beach Golf. The main reason we booked the tour. A piece of advice, plan a restroom stop on the 2 1/2 hour drive back. My husband left his phone on the bus at departure and Scott was kind enough to turn around.

A small peninsula in the middle of the California coast, San Francisco makes a strategic base camp for exploring Northern California and the Central Coast. See some of the Golden State's most iconic attractions by embarking on guided day trips from San Francisco, traveling to such destinations as California's wine country, redwood forests, national parks, and the coastal cities of Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea. Not only do these tours take care of all the planning and driving, but they can include packages with wine tastings, lunch, and dinners. Some even combine trips to two, three, or more attractions in one day.
