The symbol of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, is best seen from the water. This bridge-to-bridge boat tour departing from Fisherman’s Wharf provides unbeatable views of this architectural icon. Cruise underneath the red spires as well as under its east-side counterpart, the Bay Bridge.
After boarding the boat, perhaps buy a snack or a drink from the full bar (own expense; you are also free to bring food on board). Then enjoy the scenery as your captain takes you across San Francisco Bay, passing by Alcatraz Island. Admire landmarks such as Coit Tower, the Ferry Building, the Transamerica Pyramid, and the Palace of Fine Arts, and see where the wide Pacific meets the narrow entrance to the bay.

Wasn't crowded when we went at the end of April 3:45 in the afternoon. Could get pictures from all areas of the boat. The staff was friendly. There were great views up to and underneath each bridge and close viewing of Alkatraz island.

Great cruise. Great views of the San Francisco skyline, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge as well as Alcatraz. Smooth water. We even saw a whale and a dolphin.

You take a ride under the golden gate and near Alcatraz. There are refreshments on the boat. We did the tour on a chilly, wet day in early January 2026 so the hot chocolate was very nice.

Great way to spend time with friends or family. We went on December 30th. Bundle up excessively if you go in winter. The deal of having some warm snacks on the ship was excellent

Good tour with a lot of information in the tour commentary offered in multiple languages. However-the commentary was difficult to hear because of the loud conversations, cheering and applauding for windsurfers and generally any other noise that could be made! We moved three times on three different levels but the noise distractions were the same. Maybe provide an option for earphones or a level for passengers actually interested in hearing the commentary?

This is a fantastic ride thru the bay. Great views of the bridges and Alcatraz. Very professional run crew. Just wish the tour audio was legible from the deck, had to sit in side to hear it.
