I have done wine tours before. But this one was definitely not upto the mark considering the amount we had paid for a half day tour
- no hotel pick up
- not even one cheese cube or cracker in any of the wineries, which is so strange. The second winery was especially bad.
- the driver/guide does not give any insights or information - for instance we passed Sausalito - and he said nothing.
Overall, it can be made better!
Great tour and experience. Grady was a great tour guide, full of knowledge. We would definitely do it again.

Thank you so much, Michael, for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the Half Day Wine Country Tour, and that Grady's knowledge made your experience memorable. We can't wait to welcome you back for another adventure!
This was pretty bare bones. We were not offered water all day. There was very little food at the chosen wineries (all pre-packaged "to go" style cheese and charcuterie that my friend called "Lunchables). Of the two wineries we were taken, only the second one had decent wine. Overall, it was a bit disappointing.
First of all, this was supposed to be in a Luxury Coach bus. The Bus that we traveled in was anything but…. The first winery was a dump, and the only thing that made the day pleasurable was the second winery, Ru Vango. It was a beautiful winery with beautiful views.
Great experience! Very accommodating tour guide. So much fun and the winery’s were absolutely beautiful.
Excellent tour through Chinatown and North Beach. Lots of food, our guide, Brian, was quite informative and friendly. Learned a lot about the area. Had some onion rolls, dim sum, Peking duck, tea tastings, fudge, cannoli, pizza, and more! The fortune cookie factory was great! The only thing I would recommend changing would be the sequence of food stops. There was too much food in the afternoon, and it could have been better balanced throughout the day. Would highly recommend.
It was great would have been better if we had snacks to sample the wine with.i think the company should at least have given us that.crackers or something. I think what we paid this should have been better.
Absolutely loved the experience. The driver, the wineries, the vineyards, and the people I met on the tour was wonderful. 10/10.
The trip was excellent. Our driver, Grady, was a hit!! I will be sure to use this service again when I’m back in the Bay Area. Five Stars for Grady and the rest of the team for setting up such an incredible experience. Vango wineries has become one of my new favorites. See you soon.
friendly and knowledgeable driver, good experience.
Need to add a stop to take pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge
Excellent hospitality and customer service. You very seldom get that this day and time. Both the cruise and wineries were great. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate my 50th birthday.

Thank you for your fantastic review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed celebrating your 50th birthday with our cruise and winery tour. Your kind words about our hospitality and customer service mean a lot to us. We hope to create even more wonderful memories for you in the future!
It was a good trip. Easy to find and check in. Our driver James was hilarious and knowledgeable. Even stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge so we could get some photos.
food needs to be included, it was an 8hr trip and we spent 125 each to have a ride to two wineries. something more could be included.
I signed my wife up to take this 1/2 day trip and she had a great time, really enjoyed it, thought it was worth the price. My only complaint was because I signed her up, we had a lot of trouble with the app, cause I had the voucher and she was taking the trip, and we had to call to move it over. Once they clean up this process, it should be a great offerning.

We're thrilled that your wife enjoyed the trip and found it worth the price. We apologize for the confusion with the app and voucher transfer. We appreciate your feedback and will make improvements to ensure a smoother experience in the future.
Lovely trip out to napa valley and two really lovely accommodating vineyards who gave a great selection of wines.
Very chatty bus driver who have us great information about the sights as we passed by.
Madonna winery was excellent, the host was engaging and friendly and got crowd participation.it was much a pleasure to be there.
Basically a 6 hour trip for 2 55 minuets tastings. One at what looked like it might actually be a winery. The other was just a house with a very unlikely story about how it made wine, I suspect it was made from concentrate
The transport was not as shown on the advertisement even the toilet did not work
Overall an expensive waste of 6 hours of our vacation
The scenery on the way there and back was fantastic. The two vineyards were different experiences. The first one had more wines to taste (6) than the second (3). The second one was a more personable visit and gave out more information. Overall very good experience. Coach was disappointing , air conditioning didn’t work and quite tired decor. Marco was a great host/driver.
The guy was pleasant and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the wineries especially the second one. Very calming and relaxing trip despite the traffic. It seemed we spent most of our time on the bus, so wondered if wineries could be closer together so maybe adding one more would be nice.
I was hoping for a smaller group based on the photo. That being said we still had a great time. The first stop at Madonna Estates was very educational with great wine tastings. The second stop at Muscardini Cellars was very relaxing. Makes sure to get the charcuterie.
Amazing tour guide along with amazing Wineries and Phenomenal Wine! Half Day was perfect for us!
I definitely Recommend!
Seeing the towns along the way and hearing George’s great description of California history and advice on enjoying wine. The 100 character minimum is nonsense
Like a number of other reviewers I had a NO SHOW at pick-up point from this business.
No tour, no contact from them and (so far) no refund!
As I'm not the only one this has happened to you need to be VERY CAREFUL booking this tour - still don't know if I'll even get my money back!!!
Lovely tour. But it was hot ASL!! The heat was unbearable and our tour bus A/C was not properly working.
Response from Host, Oct 2022
Hi - we're sorry about the AC situation - sometimes, during a heatwave, its really difficult to get the vehicle temperature down. We're delighted that you still had a great time.

I planned this wine tour with a group of friends and we had a blast! The bus ride was air conditioned and included a restroom. The bus driver had excellent knowledge and narration as we travelled from San Francisco to wine country pointing out famous landmarks and places. The two winery stops were some of the oldest in Napa Valley and Sonoma with great tasting wines.
Our tour started at 12 but we had to meet at 1130 so everyone could be picked up. Sonoma was recently out of power because of the potential for wildfires caused by down power lines. So instead of being able to get lunch in Sonoma, we picked up food at a Whole Foods before we left town. Fast forward to 1:30/1:45 and we finally made it to our first winery, Jacuzzi. After the first wine tasting, we were able to take 30 minutes or so to walk around the vineyard which was nice. Afterwards, we went to Homewood Winery which is VERY small. We were able to eat our lunch during the wine tasting but there wasn't much to do there so we got back in the van for the ride home. On the way back, we stopped to get pictures with the Golden Gate bridge. We were supposed to get back close to 5pm but didn't get dropped off until 545 and we were the first to get dropped so I'm sure it was later for the others.
Overall, I'd say the trip was a little expensive for what we got. We were only actually at wineries for 2.5-3 hours and the whole trip was over 6 hours.

We are sorry to hear you weren't fully satisfied with your Wine Country tour. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
Jerry our driver, was a most efficient guide to everything wine. The weather was great. The wine tasted of heavenly perfection. Make sure you ask for Jerry as your guide.
We had a great time on our half day wine tour yesterday. Steve picked up us at our hotel and made us feel at home. He is very knowledgeable about the wines and the incredible history of San Francisco. Our group was an amazing mixture of people from around the world. Steven also took us to an incredible lookout over the bay. We had the best time and recommend this trip.
Never showed up and was not notified at all. We contacted the company and turns out they sub it out from some other company.
Quite enjoyable. The driver/tour guide was great, pointing out all kinds of things buildings, historical sites, etc on the way from my San Francisco hotel throughout Sonoma on the tour. I was fortunate enough as a single traveler to also be part of a very friendly group on the tour.
