Departure Point: Pier 39, Gate J, San Francisco 94133 Directions: Stand on the sidewalk facing the water. Enter main P39 entrance, then out left between shops to the water (towards GG Bridge). Gate J is located right next to the sea lion viewing area (ask someone where are sea lions are if lost).

Enjoy a San Francisco catamaran tour during the peaceful evening hours on this sunset cruise, when the City by the Bay will dazzle you with its famous views and sights.
Board your 55- or 65-foot (17- or 20-meter) Adventure Cat on the Embarcadero, and take off across the water. Look for sea lions and other marine life as you head out into the bay, and settle yourself either inside the protected area with 360-degree views or on the canvas trampoline where you can truly experience the wind and salty air of the Pacific (bring layers!).
Take in the beauty as your captain takes you past the historical island prison of Alcatraz and on to the Golden Gate Bridge, and enjoy a drink on board. Look up at the towering bridge as you sail underneath it, and admire the waterfront hamlet of Sausalito, just on the north side.
Your cruise ends when you return to the marina, from where you can continue your night out in San Francisco on your own.

My husband and I live locally but wanted to do a sunset cruise. We had an amazing time from beginning to end. We took off right on time and we volunteered to help put up the sail. The weather was perfect that evening. Minutes after taking off we say a whale! The views of SF, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Bay Bridge, and some of Marin were spectacular! The crew was very attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. I highly recommend this catamaran cruise on a warmer day! Bring a jacket because it gets very cold as you get further into the Bay.

What a wonderful way to end a day of sightseeing. We were blessed with wonderful weather. It was not too windy, so I was very comfortable in my jacket. The company does have jackets available to wear if you are cold.
The crew was great and very friendly.
We opted to let the younger guests help with the raising of the sails. LOL
I highly recommend this tour.

Gorgeous sunset! The hosts were so friendly and nice! One free drink of any kind. They even had hot chocolate, coffee and tea which were very much appreciated. It was windy and cold but they had big warm jackets available. We got some great sunset photos! It was a very enjoyable experience! Ty!

The captain was sure and steady in a strong wind on the nose. Crew was super friendly and engaging with all of us. We went under the Golden Gate Bridge and watched the fog roll in which was beautiful. The boat was new and had 2 large, clean heads which was unexpected. They gave us heavy jackets to wear because it got cold. First class experience! Good job Viator Tours!

It was freezing and so windy I thought I would go overboard. The opportunities for photos were not many so it felt like a bit of a waste of $$$. I would check the weather before hand the fog rolled in and the bridge was barely visible. They did have jackets but like if you can’t even walk up outside onto the deck cause it’s so windy what’s the point. Also too many people.

My partner and I spent the final hours of our anniversary in San Francisco on a sunset cruise—and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Michael and Lisa were absolutely amazing. From letting us take the wheel for a bit to capturing beautiful moments for us (thank you, Lisa!), they made the experience truly unforgettable. The ride through the bay was incredibly smooth and relaxing, with breathtaking views that made for the perfect end to our special day.
