Amazing tour! The day was full of beautiful sights and diverse experiences. Our guide was personable and knew so much about the history and nature of each spot. The vehicle was clean, roomy, and comfortable, which made the longer drives very pleasant. Highlights included Muir Woods, Sausalito, and the panoramic views at Battery Spencer. Every detail was well organized — highly recommend this tour for a full-day adventure!

Used her personal vehicle and not conducive for hearing anything she said, which was minimal information. Ran a curb and just felt generally unsafe.
Tour should not have been scheduled on a day the Fort Point is closed.

Pick-up time: We notified you one day in advance that the pick-up would be at 9:10 a.m. Due to traffic, the guide actually arrived at 9:40 a.m. and kept you informed via message.
Vehicle: The vehicle used was company-owned, not personal.
Guide communication: We regret that you had difficulty hearing the guide. We will remind our guides to speak more clearly.
Driving safety: Our guide followed the GPS route. We confirmed that no curb was driven over.
Fort Point closure: As Fort Point was closed, the guide took you to nearby Fort Scott instead, with sufficient time allotted there.
We apologize for any miscommunication and inconvenience.
It was great and places were great! We travelled only two of us so it was really comfortable.

We had a fantastic experience exploring Muir Woods, Sausalito, and taking in the stunning views at Battery Spencer. The pacing was perfect and did not feel rushed. What truly made the trip unforgettable was our kind and knowledgeable tour guide, Xiong Shi Fu, who took us to three extra locations, including an extra viewpoint of the Golden Gate Bridge. Overall very memorable experience and would recommend Mr. Xiong Shi Fu, especially for those who speak Mandarin.

It was a great experience; it is for sure worth the price. Jack was a fantastic driver and even gave us more time to explore than was mentioned in the itinerary of this tour. Muir Woods is fantastic; it is a magical world. You can very quick to buy tickets at the entrance. A nice gift shop is nearby. At Sausalito, Jack recommended us very delicious burgers, just for $38 with fries and drinks for a couple. Fort Point was worth visiting too; it is a historical place.

Our driver, Scott, was absolutely incredible! He had so much knowledge about the city and answered all the questions we had! He was a great driver and we felt safe the entire time. He took us to some wonderful spots around the city and pointed out so many cool places! We could’ve driven around with him the entire day and not gotten bored.

I had such an amazing experience on the Muir Woods, Sausalito, and Battery Spencer tour through Viator! Alex was an incredible driver and made the whole day smooth, fun, and stress-free. The views were beautiful, the timing was perfect, and he really made the experience feel personal.
What made it extra special was that he surprised me with a birthday cake and even had a happy birthday song waiting for me. That meant so much and honestly made my trip unforgettable. You can tell he truly cares about the people on his tour.

The driver should slow down on the winding road to Muir Wood. It gave me and my friend motion sickness. My friend had it bad that she was throwing up throughout the tour of the forest, that we skipped sight seeing and dinner at Sausalito

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent tour to Muir Woods. We have since retrieved and reviewed the vehicle’s dash camera footage from the tour. Our records show that the driver operated the vehicle strictly within the posted speed limits at all times. Furthermore, as soon as your guide was made aware of the motion sickness symptoms, the driver immediately reduced speed significantly, driving well below the speed limit for the remainder of the winding road section in an effort to minimize discomfort. We deeply regret that despite these measures, your friend continued to experience severe motion sickness, which ultimately caused you both to miss the sightseeing and dinner in Sausalito. For future tours, we strongly recommend that guests who are prone to motion sickness take sickness pills before departure. Our team is also happy to suggest seating arrangements that may help reduce symptoms.Once again, I sincerely apologize to you. I hope you and your friends are all well.
First, there were only 2 of us, so it became a private tour, which was really nice. Some group. Good communication from Nora, our guide. Contacted us regarding pick up time and info regarding weather. She was informative and flexible. She changed the itinerary once she saw clear skies do we can appreciate the Golden gate bridge at Battery Spencer. Our drive to Miur Woods was a little rough. The winding roads caused me to developed motion sickness when we arrived at Miur Woods. I am not prone to motion sickness. I didn't really get to enjoy the place as I was now sick. We had asked Nora to drive slower which she did obliged. We ended up not going to Sausalito as I was really feeling very ill. My friend who had been to Sausalito didn't mind . Nora just took us back to the hotel. Otherwise, it should had been a good trip. Just be aware that the winding roads to Muir Woods can trigger motion sickness.

This is probably the best day trip you can do out of San Francisco if you get lucky on the weather. Every stop is beautiful and let's you walk around tons, hard to pick a favorite spot but it's definitely between the Redwoods and Battery Spencer for us. Our tour guide Nora was great and very personable.

I had an absolutely amazing experience visiting Muir Woods National Monument, Sausalito, and Battery Spencer.
What made this trip truly special was that I was the only tourist that day, which turned it into a completely personalized experience. I never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore each location at my own pace—whether it was soaking in the peaceful beauty of the redwoods, strolling around Sausalito, or taking in the breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge from Battery Spencer.
A big shoutout to both Nora and Robert who were the guide and the driver for the day—they were fantastic. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating, making sure I got the most out of every stop and ensured a smooth, comfortable journey throughout.
If you’re looking for a relaxed, flexible, and well-organized trip with excellent service, I highly recommend this experience. It felt less like a tour and more like a perfectly curated private getaway.

Amazing tour from start to finish! The guide was friendly and helpful, and the minibus was clean and comfortable. We had insane stunning views of the golden gate bridge from pacific heights and fort point was a great photo stop. Muir woods was definitely my favorite, the redwoods are absolutely magical. Even I had been here before I still love came back again and again! Sausalito was charming and battery spencer also had breathtaking views. Highly recommend it.

I loved this September tour! The itinerary was rich and well thought out, from passing by elegant Pacific Heights to wandering under the ancient redwoods in Muir Woods.
