Your tour begins with pickup from Fisherman’s Wharf and a drive past San Francisco’s iconic landmarks. Head north toward Napa and Sonoma, stopping at Oxbow Public Market, where you have time for a coffee and pastry of your choosing.
Then, stop in Napa Valley for your first wine tasting and to learn about what makes this region world-famous. Enjoy local wines while learning about the winemaking process and the terroir.
After your first tasting, head to Sonoma Square, where you have time to enjoy several dining options. Opt for a sit-down lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant, a self-guided walking food tour, a picnic-style lunch, or add on an additional wine tasting.
Then, it’s time to travel to Sonoma for your next wine tasting at a family-owned vineyard.
Following your tasting in Sonoma, return to your meeting point in San Francisco.

Barry was fantastic! This tour was everything I expected and more. The first winery was by far my favorite. The wine was incredible and the grounds were incredible (Ru Vango). I am a bit picky when it comes to wine as I have done several wine tours around the world and this one as was on point.
Barry was an excellent tour guide. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. He was funny and professional,
I highly recommend Dylan’s Tour agency for any tour. If you plan a wine tour, ask for Barry!

The tour was perfect (with the exception of two of the guests that were very annoying and quite a distraction). The tour started at 9:00am and evidently, they had already been drinking. It was a male and female pair of cousins. Both spoke loudly while on the bus, for nearly the entire trip. The male continued to speak loudly over the tour guides in both Napa and Sonoma. He spoke so much and so loudly that the guide had to redirect him and change her position. As the wine sampling continued, they became more disruptive and disrespectful. Besides, the two adults acting like kids, they trip was awesome! It would have been PERFECT had the two been removed from the tour. Our driver, Barry was awesome as he was very knowledgeable and quite funny! He's also an excellent photographer! The scenery was gorgeous and the stops at the Golden Gate Bridge and vineyards in Napa and Sonoma were WELL worth the trip and everything we expected and imagined! The tour guides at Nicholson Ranch and Ru Vango Winery were amazing! Both were knowledgeable and offered great samples! We purchased wine from both locations. Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially when we were able to separate each from the two clowns, Sean and Shavonne. We definitely could have done without the silliness, mindless small talk, gibberish and childish behavior from two adults.

Great experience. Beautiful drive to wine country. Barry was a fantastic guide and shared a wealth of information along the way. The wineries are gorgeous and the wine tastings were fun. Loved the stop in Sonoma for lunch and shopping on our own. Good food, quaint shops and friendly people. Highly recommend, a nice way to spend the day.

Everything was taken care of with water bottles and granola bars. It was a smooth trip and Barry was great! He explained things and took photos. The wineries were so cute and personable. There were some everyday wines and some really special wines. Just a really great day!

Jeffery our tour guy was great. Good day! Wine was okay. Understand small wineries and family owned Good idea. Bus was comfortable, time at locations appropriate and great linch stop. Sonoma Plaza was very quaint.

It was a great way to spend a girls day while visiting the Bay Area. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable and did a great job every step of the way. Vineyards, tastings were enjoyable. Guide was good, friendly. The tour van was not very good for sightseeing due to the obstructions. Nice tour but not worth $189.

Let me preface by saying I'm not a wine connoisseur. This trip was 100% for my wife to enjoy and experience as a bucket list item. The Nicholson winery in Sonoma blew me away. Mike was our host and of the 4 wines we tried, I enjoyed each of them immensely (so much so we joined the wine club and got some wine shipped back home immediately). Each wine was aged 7 years and the history behind the family, the winemaker (who is NOT a Nicholson), and the property made for an amazing experience. There was a definite difference between the Sonoma and the Napa experiences, but more on that in a minute. After we left the Sonoma winery, we went to Sonoma Square for a 2 hour lunch/shopping experience. Overall it was very relaxing and the Square is what you'd expect from a tourist perspective (expensive shops, decent food, etc). The Napa tour at the Vango winery was more about the art collection than the wine initially. It did include a tour of the machinery and the warehouse, including a tasting from straight out of a barrel. The wines were newer and didn't have the smooth flavor we found at the previous winery, although they were still flavorful. It was an amazing experience that should be on everybody's bucket list!

It's a small group activity with attention to detail. Our driver, Jeffrey, was hilarious and informative throughout the drive and wine tastings. We visited two wineries with generous pours, with a two-hour lunch stop in Sonoma on our own. Beautiful places with rolling hills and gorgeous vineyards. We even met the owner at the second winery! Ended up with two bottles each of chardonnay, cabernet, and pinot noir. Wonderful experience!

Our host driver, Scully was fantastic! He was knowledgeable about San Francisco and played great music! And he’s an exceptional photographer!
The winery hosts amazing, fun and clearly knew a lot about wines and wine making process! We experienced tasting wine straight from barrel and even got to eat grapes off vines.
We were fortunate to have people on our tour who were fun to be around making the trip even better. Shout out to the London boys and Cruise girls!

Dylan tour office staff were friendly and helpful. Our tour guide, Scully, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, personable, and an excellent photographer. Our small tour bus was clean and comfortable and well stocked with water and snacks. The experiences at the wineries were wonderful. Both were beautiful. Pros-don't have to do the driving or planning
Sonoma plaza was beautiful. Plenty of time to eat, shop and enjoy.
Beautiful vineyards
Cons- the vineyards were subpar at best. The wines were fair with limited education/discussion. Goal was to sell their products

If you want to spend a day learning about how wine was made and taste some wines! Highly recommend. The first winery tour guide was amazing! He showed us how their wine was processed and ask all of our questions. Then we stop at Sonoma Plaza. The food in the square was amazing! The second stop- the lady was ok. A bit rude in my opinion. However this is not the tour fault. The tour guide Jules was awesome!

This was a great tour. About 20 of us are in a very comfortable van/bus. Peter, the host and driver, made the whole experience outstanding. He was funny and engaging. The two wineries were beautiful, and yes, we bought some to ship home. Each winery's host greeted the bus and welcomed us. We spent an hour and a half at each winery. I have to say I was skeptical of an 8-hour tour, but it never seemed long. We stopped a few times both ways for photos and bathroom breaks, so no worry there. Stopping at the Golden Gate for close-up photos was worth it. My wife and I spent a lot of time on the bus talking to 2 other couples, some from very interesting countries. You will love the tour.

The Napa/Sonoma wine tour was excellent. The winery’s we visited were exceptional. Barry, our tour guide and driver was also great. He is very knowledgeable about the area and top it all off he is a great photographer. We got some great photos thanks to him. Only recommendation would be to include downtown Napa as a part of this tour.

Transport is in a bus-like shuttle, with total ~30 seats. We booked for a Saturday at beginning of summer and there were only 8 people total in our group. It was a great pace, pretty leisure tasting and learning about wine. Lunch is a 2 hour break at Sonoma Plaza where you can do what you want (eat and/or do an additional tasting)
