Great tour. The Muir Woods is a must see experience. Our driver was great and give us a ton of great information about San Francisco.

We really enjoyed this tour, the Muir Woods is majestic! Absolutely a must see, just walking there removed all the stress in the world, and we felt so much connected with nature. Sausalito is nothing special.. just a free time between Muir Woods and Alcatraz. Alcatraz is a place you visit out of curiosity, don’t expect to see much. The smell there is foul and the place is filled with pelican droppings, but we enjoyed it and didn’t regret it, to sum it all, it was a nice day and was very enjoyable.

Do not book with this tour company. Left us standing on the curb and drove off when there weren’t enough seats in the van.
Mara_A, Jul 2026
We had a great day seeing all the attractions. Alcatraz was fascinating, Muir Woods was majestic. Sausalito was a cute town. Didn’t have much time to explore.
Divina_F, Jul 2026
The tour was not worth the price because there wasn’t enough time to fully enjoy the experience. It’s essentially a half-day tour—they basically just drive you to Muir Woods and Sausalito, then drop you off at the pier after lunch to continue your Alcatraz tour on your own, which can easily be booked separately. We expected much more value for the price.
We especially felt rushed in Sausalito, where there was barely enough time to explore, have a meal, or enjoy the waterfront. Muir Woods also felt hurried, which took away from the experience.
There are other tour options that allow significantly more time at both Muir Woods and Sausalito, making for a much more enjoyable and worthwhile visit. There are also alternative ways to travel to these destinations without booking this tour package.
Another downside was the constant hinting for tips throughout the tour, which felt excessive and was off-putting.

Dustin was an amazing guide with a lot of knowledge to share! We had such a good time exploring the city!

If you do all 3 locations prepare yourself for a very, long day! It was great but we were very tired!

Excellent way to see San Francisco and the surrounding areas!
Roman was the most excellent tour guide and made our experience very memorable!!!! We learned so much about the history of the area and the people who live there. We were amazed at all the information that we were given while enroute to our next destination! Wow!!!
15 out of 10 for sure!!! Thanks Roman!!

Nice guide. Comfortable ride. GG just has a restroom break near Marin Point end . Not really a photo opp.

So fun, informative, and incredibly beautiful sights! Well worth it if you want to see a ton of highlights in a day. Anja our tour guide was incredibly entertaining and knowledgeable- highly recommend!

I would not recommend this tour in any way, for multiple reasons. The tour guide that we had was offensive from the start of the tour through to the end of the trip. The information he provided was more of a rant with strong political under tones which were really unnecessary and took away from the experience considerably. His commentary was passive aggressive, politically charged, and offensive.
The entire tour was uncomfortable, awkward, and offensive due to what seemed like distain for tourists, his political agenda, and a random verbal assault on the Catholic Church. The tour came to a completely disturbing end when we were dropped off at Pier 33 and the tour guide became physically intimidating and threatening in an attempt to get a larger tip which left me feeling shaken and rattled. I can only see this sort of behaviour escalating to the point of a physical confrontation with a tourist (if it has not already happened).
In addition to all of this, as noted in previous reviews, the tour is too rushed, with insufficient time at Muir Woods and at Sausalito. Don't go. Book a shuttle to Muir Woods instead.

Alcatraz tour exceptional. Easy to navigate.
The Muir wood tour and Sausalito was great also. However we felt we didn’t have enough time in Sausalito. A quick coffee and it was time to get back on Sprinter again. Wish we could have explored this beautiful area for at least an extra hour. Robert our guide was knowledgable, and efficient however we found there were too many requests for tips for himself throughout the tour. Also the large sign in Sprinter hinting at maximum tip being the norm was off putting.
Overall we enjoyed the trip very much.

Muir Woods was fantastic as was the Alcatraz tour. I wish there had been more time than an hour for Sausalito (time was only enough to grab lunch at a downtown restaurant- needed an additional 30 minutes to walk around the marina and shops).

Tour went exactly as described. Great tour, Anja was phenomenal as our tour guide. I would highly recommend this experience.

Dustin was wonderful on our tour today! He was knowledgeable about the SF area, humorous, which I appreciate and a very safe driver, which my husband appreciated. He also was willing to stop at the Golden Gate Bridge so we could get pictures!! Five stars for Dustin!!

Our guide Anja was amazing. She drove super cautious and we always felt safe. She was also very informative.
urwawaqar, Jun 2026
Great tour and efficient tour especially if you’re short on time in San Francisco! Would recommend because you end up seeing 3 places. Keep in mind that you do Alcatraz by yourself
Serina_M, Jun 2026
Our driver was amazing and super helpful. She went out of her way to give advice and always checked to ensure our comfort.
Nick_N, Jun 2026
Lots of fun, and friendly knowledgeable tour guide. Muir Woods and Alcatraz is a must see. Kat did a great job!
Chris_E, Jun 2026
Our tour guide, German guy, forgot his name was amazing. Charming and funny and so knowledgeable about SF history. Very easy going pace and we were able to cover Sausalito, red woods, pics by golden gate, and a drop off at Alcatraz pier. My 10 yr old son loved it.
Allen_J, Jun 2026
Easy to navigate. Alcatraz was great. No hassles getting on the ferry. Instructions were clear. We enjoyed the Sprinter ride to Muir and Sausalito.
Wendy_Z, Jun 2026
We were at Muir Woods early and it was awesome. Not crowded felt like we had the place to ourselves. Ben was a great tour guide. Gave great recommendations for lunch in Sausalito
Janis_V, Jun 2026
Loved it all, but especially Muir Woods! Salsalito was very peaceful and quaint. Alcatraz was very informative tour. Redwoods in Muir Woods were awesome.
Megan_A, May 2026
Alcatraz was surreal, educational, and incredibly interesting. The audio tour, narrated by former guards and inmates, really brought the prison’s history to life. Learning about the Indian occupation was powerful, and the views and gardens were beautiful.
Muir Woods was peaceful and breathtaking, with majestic redwoods and calming trails, while Sausalito was a charming seaside town. Our tour guide was informative, friendly, funny, and made the entire experience unforgettable. 10/10!
Christina_B, May 2026
Great experience and value! Our tour guide Annia was fantastic! Alcatraz was super interesting. Muir Woods and Sausalito were magical!
ELIZABETH_H, May 2026
Interesting history but a little overrated. Be prepared for some strenuous hill climbing and uneven surfaces. The flowers were beautiful.
Pilar_s, May 2026
Excellent service. Love the visit to Alcatraz. Tour to Sausalito was great..Driver was very kind and funny.
Jodi_M, May 2026
Amazing! Knowledgable tour guide! Better than I ever expected. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
MaryAnn_T, May 2026
The road to Muir Woods is very twisty so car sickness could be an issue. Van was comfortable and the driver was great. Only an hour in Sausilito which I would have preferred longer.
